Man who killed Lakeland Officers might be wounded One of them managed to pull off a shot.
They were shot to death-”ambushed” at the beginning of their shift when they were working on their laptops sitting at a table together at a local coffee shop Sunday morning.

“This was more of an execution. Walk in with the specific mindset to shoot police officers,” Troyer said.
Troyer said the officers — all from the Lakewood Police Department — were catching up on paperwork at the beginning of their shifts when they were attacked at 8:15 a.m. Sunday.
Lakeland has a small police force and they haven’t released the names yet.
The officers killed Sunday were a patrol squad made up of three officers and their sergeant.
Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person involved in this morning’s fatal shooting, described as a black man who is between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall, and wearing a black coat and blue jeans in the Lakewood, Wash. area. He was later shot and killed by a lone police officer at about 2 am on Tuesday morning.
