100 Days Fax Kerry the form

Tuesday celebrates 100 days since John Kerry promised Russert he’d release his military records. I will be posting this again on Tuesday. This is so everyone knows because I haven’t been able to reach everyone in the blogroll.

Watch him promise Russert on national television that he’ll release his records. here at Trey’s

To celebrate 100 days of nada zero zilch on his promise, and further encourage him to do so, FAX HIM THE FORM!

Here’s the link to the form

Here’s a suggested cover letter (be respectful, please):

Senator Kerry:

100 days ago, on National television, you told Russert you’d sign your form 180. Senator Kerry, it is vital that the American public have as much information as possible about their elected representatives in the United States Senate. In various ways, you have rightly called upon President Bush to be fully accountable and to provide full disclosure. In the same spirit I believe it is incumbent upon you to make your total military record open to the American people.

Specifically, I formally request that you authorize the Department of the Navy to independently release your military records (through your execution of Standard Form 180 attached), complete and unaltered, including your military medical records. Further, I call upon you to correct the misconceptions your campaign sought to create as to your conduct while in Vietnam. Permit the American public the opportunity to assess your military performance upon the record.

I, along with many others, call upon you to provide a full, accurate accounting of your conduct in Vietnam.

Respectfully,

The Boston Office Fax: (617) 248-3870

The Washington Office Fax: (202) 224-8525

  3. Dr. Forbush says:

He lost the election. Why should he cao-tao to your whims?

Well, the wingerbots have spent the last 5 years of failure pillorying Clinton, since their Messiah can do no wrong (despite ground conditions and tons of documents dating back over 30 (+) years. It only makes sense they’ll spend at least a few months pillorying Kerry-after all, they proved on McCain how much disdain they have for the soldier who does his duty,

  8. Kender says:

    Jolly Roger?

Does Kerry not deserve to be held to his word?

  9. Cao says:

Leftists don’t believe in facts, history or the truth. Holding them to conservative standards (or biblical rules like you shouldn’t lie) just doesn’t seem to apply to them. Look at how Clinton celebrated his impeachment as if it was something to be proud of: He held a party on the Whitehouse lawn. Nixon hung his head in shame and disappeared.

  10. Dr. Forbush says:

Cao, Nixon lied and cheated the country. Clinton cheated on his wife. Nixon and the rest of the Republicans should hang their heads in shame. Only Nixon did this, because he got caught red handed.

  11. greg says:

Dr. Forbush: And this has exactly what to do with Kerry? Am I missing something here? Are we supposed to be keeping score?

  12. Gribbit says:

Dr. Forbush, it seems to me that Slick Willy made a certain statement on national television during a whitehouse press conference when he said, pointing a finger, “”I did not have sexual relations with that woman… Miss Lewinski.” William Jefferson Clinton.

Fogive me, but by doing that on national televison, didn’t he lie to the American people? And if we couldn’t trust him, how could a foreign power.

Now nobody forced Kerry to make the statement that he would release his military records by signing SF-180. He made the statement thinking it would benifit him politically to do so. But in true lefty fashion, he has no plans of signing that form.

So do us all a big favor, and quit pandering to the left.

  13. Cao says:

That’s right, Dr. Forbush, Clinton didn’t get caught with his pants around his ankles in the oval office, did he? He wears his impeachment like a badge of honor and still travels the country making speeches, went with Bush II to see the Tsunami damage, even insinuated he’s the next guy to run the UN. I don’t recall Nixon ever did anything remotely like that. Clinton threw an impeachment party on the Whitehouse lawn!

I’ll bet when he dies he’ll get a full presidential funeral just like Reagan did…as if he deserves to be in the same class as Ronald Reagan. His last memorable acts as President was to pardon a long laundry list of criminals from prosecution. Not very honorable, IMO.

I guess the principles that leftists hold us to don’t apply to the elitists now, do they?

When you listen to people who served with Kerry for that measly 4 months, he was a slippery liar the whole time. His brothers in uniform were glad to be rid of him because of it; he put the rest of them in danger the way he mishandled his weapon, and wrote his own paperwork for his purple heart. These guys were both cut from the same cloth.

Since being this type of character is so acceptable to leftists, I guess that’s why nobody blinks an eye when Kerry doesn’t follow through on his commitment to release his records. Funny that they make such a big deal out of Bush releasing his, he does, and then nobody makes a thing out of Kerry NOT releasing his when there are a whole lot more questions about Kerry’s itsy bitsy 4 months of service and a bandaid.
