There is no question in my mind that we did the right thing, although people deny it and portray Iraq as some kind of idyllic setting where doves flew through the air, and everyone got along and had ‘freedom’. Ha! There was such great freedom of the press, for example, that they only had one newspaper–controlled and run by Uday Hussein! I have this movie and suggest if you haven’t, you should get it. Portraying Laura Bush, the schoolteacher/librarian/housewife as a murderess is beyond the pale.
Yes, that is terrible. But what is even more terrible is you re-post it. All you are doing is adding to the fire of disgrace. You know your blog is well read – by re-posting that awful photo you become no better.
I’ve also posted movies of terrorists killing unarmed civilians. This is the real world and I’m sorry if you don’t like it but don’t blame me for pointing it out.
The Democrats have to learn you will catch more flies with honey. That kind of rhetoric will only serve to repel the more moderate, liberal thinkers and will serve to keep the religious right in power. I truly wish those idiots would abandon the Democrat Party so we can get back to the party of JFK – the party for the “little guy” again. If that ever happens, I’ll be proud to sport my “D” again.

Over-the-top leftist propaganda like the picture above actually serves conservatives’ purposes. It is so grotesquely inaccurate that it is not going to be considered a credible point of view by anyone who hasn’t already wandered off to the farther regions of the lunatic fringe. Conservatives will look at the picture and think, “Here you go, this is why I don’t like moonbats.” Moderates will say, “Wow, I guess those left-wing types really are kooks to be making pictures like this.” Thanks for reposting it.

Cao, I *really* appreciate your recognition of this fact. Yes there are INDEED a bunch of us still left. We still make up the majority of the liberal base but have been silenced largely by the MSM who can’t wait to hand a mic to the looniest of the far left and say, “This, folks, is a Democrat”. These people DISGUST me to no end! Obviously, if you ever read my blog you’ll know I’m equally as disgusted by the far-right whackos too. I abhor extremism in all of it’s forms. It’s been awhile since the last time I pounded upon the radical lefties in my blog. Perhaps it’s that time again.

I hate to agree with a Liberal, but, I agree with GTL. There are tons of real Democrats out there, not just the loony leftazoids like the 58K+ nut jobs on the DU. People who care. Unfortunatley, those who are sane, rational, and care about more then “Blame and Hate Bush” are not the vocal majority.
As to the photo, what the DU does rarely surprises nor shocks me anymore. Like most of the other Leftist websites, they have nothing but hate and negativity. I wrote awhile ago that the Lefties have no fun. This is just more evidence of it. Do you ever really see anything fun on their sites? A silly meme? A funny picture that is just funny, not hateful? Heck, look at my photo shops of Hillary, Boxer, and Pelosi. Are they nasty or hateful? They do not even make fun of them in a really bad way.
Yeah we DO have a lot more fun than they do…it kind of flips the old conservative stereotype on its ***! Thanks, Bill!

You advocate allowing it to continue unchecked, rather than expose it for the hateful propaganda that it is.
It may be hateful and ugly, but better to expose it and counter it, than to allow it to fester like a cancer.

Zell Miller is one of my true heros. It takes gonies to stand apart for from the crowd when the crowd is WRONG. His new book looks to be a good read. He stands by his liberal principles and refuses to allow the extremists to dominate HIS DNC Talking Points memos. We need more like him in the DNC. God, Country, guns and LIBERALISM baybay! I wish you would provide a link to your blog if you have one.
