This is what the outrage is about…why is it outrageous? Because Andy Martin is the one who’s saying it?
Actually, it was Kevin Dujan, the lifelong democrat and Roland Burris fundraiser who came up with this – in mid-December at his website, Hillbuzz. Kevin says it’s democrats and not republicans who will take down Mark Kirk on the gay issue, and that it will be just as nasty as what happened to Foley…Kirk did it to himself with republicans on his cap & trade vote.
What we’re smelling here is the stench of partisan politics in media reporting, and leftist GOP operatives who have no moral compass and chime in with the same stupid rhetoric as the gay activists on a mission to “out” conservative homosexual lawmakers revealed during the Foley scandal. The difference here is that Foley was targeted for his hypocrisy regarding his voting record on gays…I don’t see that Kirk has the same problem as his voting record is blatantly pro homosexual, and Kirk is rated 75% by the HRC, indicating a pro-gay-rights stance.
What they’re trying to accomplish in this, I think, is overturning “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”.
Hey, Tristate--get your facts straight.
Attack Ad Accuses Republican Illinois Senate Candidate Of Being Gay
(Chicago) — A candidate for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Illinois has launched a radio attack ad accusing the front-runner in the race of being homosexual.
The ad by Andy Martin says there’s a “solid rumor” that U.S. Congressman Mark Kirk is a homosexual.
He attributes the comment to the Family Taxpayers Foundation founder Jack Roeser.
Martin also says Kirk has allegedly had a homosexual relationship in Washington, DC.
A Kirk campaign spokesperson says the ad is “not true.” Martin’s ad was also decried by the Illinois Republican Party, who says he will no longer “be recognized as a legitimate Republican candidate.” Martin once ran for president in 1999 against then-Texas Governor George W. Bush, accusing him of having a “cocaine problem” and suffering from “alcohol abuse.” He also accused President Obama of not being from Hawaii.
The ad DOES repeat something than can be heard on Roesers’ archive of his radio show-that Ray True was on…but that’s not where the information originated from. Martin’s ad was decried by Pat Brady, the same Pat Brady that threatened Chris Lauzen about re-thinking being a republican because he supports HB600. Brady should shut the hell up, he’s in no position to speak for voters–only for his lame pathetic self. I don’t know what Martin accused Bush of, but he didn’t accuse Obama of “not being from Hawaii”…
Wow, there is a lot of misinformation out there.
That includes from bloggers who don’t appear to know what they’re talking about…John Hawkins at Rightwing News. Andy Martin: Republican Fruit Loop
What’s outrageous is that nobody is looking at the big picture, or where this came from except for Illinois Review…what a shame that is.

I notice your blogspot blog is called “Andy Martin the *** behind the mask”
I’ve been receiving Andy’s stuff…but I don’t think he should be portrayed as the kook that people are trying to broadbrush him with.
One has to wonder why your are motivated to focus your attacks on Andy…
What is it about him that bothers you so much – other than he’s a lawyer -which makes him no different than any other politician in office right now?
Or is it that he’s a conservative voice that ruffles peoples’ feathers because of his outspoken and sometimes tactless & brutal honesty?
