I know what you’re thinking. But it’s NOT a right-wing attack machine plot. It’s astonishing but true.
Perhaps everything I once believed in this world has just wooshed out the window. There are some things that you expect. The sun rises in the east, not the west. Gravity pulls us toward the center of the earth. PeTA loves and protects animals. Nothing can change these truisms. No no no no. Not gonna.
Well, it seems something did. Thanks to Jeremy Bol of American Warmonger for this tip.
Allow me to quote from Darren Freeman and Seth Seymour, intrepid reporters of the The Virginian-Pilot, from their 17 June 2005 article (as I am simply too numb to write on it more just now):

Two employees of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals were arrested on animal cruelty charges in Ahoskie, N.C., after investigators saw dead dogs being thrown into a grocery store garbage container Wednesday, according to the Ahoskie Police Department.
Ahoskie police conducting surveillance as part of a monthlong investigation reported finding 18 dead dogs in the container and 13 animal carcasses in a van registered to PETA and seized by authorities. The cats and dogs were taken Wednesday from animal shelters in Northampton and Bertie counties, police said. Animals had been collected every Wednesday for four weeks, and carcasses had been found dumped in Ahoskie every Wednesday for about a month, Ahoskie Police Chief Troy Fitzhugh said.
Two veterinarians said they were told that PETA would try to find homes for animals taken from their practices.
PeTA says that they are investigating the matter. Those dogs and cats are saying… nothing. They’re in doggie-kittie heaven, landed there by their… rescuers.
This reminds me (now that I have myself together a bit) of my traumatic experience in college, when some animal rights activists broke into a facility late at night and let loose some laboratory mice. The poor white mice were specially bred and only ever knew a laboratory life. Those animal rights terrorists wanted to save those critters from the clutches of evil scientists. Most of the mice were later found dead from starvation or regularly scheduled extermination.
There’s something amiss here with these PeTA people, who from all indications would put the life within an endangered bird’s egg on a higher plane than that of a fetus in its mother’s womb. And now, this.

PETA – Bad For Animals!
Yes, that’s right. PETA is bad for animals. There is much documentation on this and another piece has just come to the surface: Two on PETA staff charged with cruelty to animals So here’s the rules. Write something factual about…
“She’s the Mother Teresa of animals. She’s a very kind, decent person.”
HORSE AND BULL **** … this ***** and ******* don’t deserve to be out on bail — those babies had no chance of survival with these sick cocksuckers around!
Sorry … I’m very much an avid DOG & HORSE LOVER — if I see you harming either of these, guess what?
I’ll save the taxpayer’s alot of money … “ONE SHOT – ONE KILL” and it wouldn’t bother me one damn bit to watch that bullet rip into your skull, and pop it like a zit … while I slowly eject the shell casing with a slight smile, as I walk away feeling nothing about you.
Go ahead – make my day; tell PETA what I’d love to do to their “HUMAN ANIMALS” … the two-legged Communist ********!
This is old news, just another incarnation of PETA comitting kitty genocide. Here is another example. (http://cranialcavity.net/wordpress/index.php/1566)
“Hypocrisy is the mother of all credibility problems, and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has it in spades. While loudly complaining about the “unethical” treatment of animals by restaurant owners, grocers, farmers, scientists, anglers, and countless other Americans, the group has its own dirty little secret.”
“PETA kills animals. By the thousands.”
“From July 1998 through the end of 2003, PETA killed over 10,000 dogs, cats, and other “companion animals”—at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters. That’s more than five defenseless animals every day. Not counting the dogs and cats PETA spayed and neutered, the group put to death over 85 percent of the animals it took in during 2003 alone. And its angel-of-death pattern shows no sign of changing.”
Oh… and please do read the pdf file.
PETA juhadists.. let them all rot in hell. Gitmo is too good for them!
