They were celebrating, smiling, etc.. They were not tearful. The point is they were "duped" into this mission...as several others have surmised. These guys were not behaving as though they were on a suicide mission. There are films of what terrorists look like before they go through with a mission like that, they're into documenting this stuff and putting it up on the internet. These guys didn't fit the profile of people who were knowingly and purposefully on a suicide mission.

And no, that's as far as I'm going...YOU put yourself in their place.

1) At least three of the four bombers died with their ID cards with them, leading police directly back to their homes. (would they have clung to their id cards had they known they were about to die?)

2) The bombs went off simultaneously, strongly suggesting they were set off by either timers or remote control.

3) The bombs were unusually small and light, reportedly only ten pounds. They were carried in backpacks, not vests.

4) There were no boasting videos left behind, no suicide notes.

5) From what I have seen in the press, the bombers did not seem to fit the profile of suicide bombers we've seen in Israel - people with a personal score to settle, people with obvious jihadist ambitions, or people who have shamed their families and who are looking for redemption. Furthermore, bombers are typically nervous and quiet when approaching their targets; these guys "were captured on CCTV at 8.20am walking through a subway at King's Cross. One security source said last night: 'They looked like they were going for a hike. They were chatting to each other and smiling.'"

Put yourself in the place of the bombers, or at the young Muslims authority would have us believe were the bombers. The say goodbye for the final time, backpacks in place. What would they do, what would they say? Hug each other, shake hands. Shed a few tears. Say goodbye. Say we are doing a wonderful thing, holding the world up by its ears to make it listen. We are changing history, striking a blow for our religion. After today British people know their government can't protect them. We will meet again in paradise. So all in all a tearful final farewell. But what the tape showed was four good mates going their separate ways with a plan to meet up for lunch, or dinner as they would undoubtedly say in Leeds. Anyone besides me starting to small a rat? Leeds patsy anyone? If Tony Blair said it was raining I'd lean out of the window.

It upsets me to hear Bush framing our reaction this like Kerry did during the election by talking about "briging people to justice" what kind of pansy crap is that?

Bush should be talking about bringing the second coming or death and destruction to these bastards and their families.

Count me disappointed by my president today.

I've been working nights and woke up to this at 3pm. What's to say? Thankyou for your thoughts and prayers, Cao. It's good to know our allies across the pond are thinking of us at this time.
I only hope that, finally, more British people will wake up to the Islamofascist menace in our country.
