12 July 2005: The BBC re-edited some of its coverage of the London bombings last week to avoid labeling the perpetrators as “terrorists,” according to a story by Tom Leonard of the UK News Telegraph. Leonard stated that early reporting of the attacks on the BBC’s website spoke of terrorists but the same coverage was changed to describe the attackers simply as “bombers,” adding that the “careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments.”
You have got to be kidding me. There are scores of dead and wounded innocent men, women and children at the hands of Islamic terrorist homicidal masters of hell and the BBC wants to avoid words that carry “value judgments.” Perhaps its time for the likes of Michael Moore, Ted Turner and BBC executives to join hands and break out in a chorus of Kumbaya with Sheikh Omar bin Bakri Muhammad while rescuers finish removing the remains of those still under the rubble. Shame on you, BBC, for insulting the memories of those who were killed and their families.
Another disgusting example of the appeasing “feed the alligator” mindset that seems so prevalent these days. Do people actually think about what the hell it is they’re doing to aid and abet the enemy? I just can’t believe that people who work for the media go to these lengths to cover for the Islamist scumbags.
A note on Sheikh Omar bin Bakri Muhammad for those of you who don’t know:
Syrian born radical Islamist Sheikh Omar bin Bakri Muhammad is the founder of the London branch of Hizb Al-Tahrir (the Islamic Liberation Party [1]), and of the organization “Jama’at Al-Muhajirun” (“The Emigrants,” in reference to those who accompanied the Prophet Muhammad on his Hijra from Mecca to Medina). Additionally, Sheikh Bakri presents himself as the spokesman of Osama bin Laden’s International Islamic Front for Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders. This organization, by Bakri’s own admission, participates in fundraising for Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and is “in touch” with Hizbullah. Bakri has further claimed to have recruited volunteers for training in paramilitary camps located in the U.S. and Lebanon.

We’re not losing, Ogre. They’re trying to increase the perception that we are, but I don’t believe it. It’s not what our boys are saying in Iraq. They’re worried about the terrible message the MSM is spreading…that’s why I’m anxious to get the reports out of Move America Forward and the others who recently travelled over there–to spread the news of our successes, rather than doom and gloom all the time.
