Hi, I made it to the Dells, and had the opportunity to listen to Lord Christopher Monckton speak already! Yes, he was a part of the Reception this evening, as were some political candidates…and I will have to catch up with all of that tomorrow, matching up some of my photos with names.
This has been quite an odd day for me, as it began with packing and contemplating going to the wake of a friend today. I used to work with her at Allstate; she passed away very suddenly last Sunday after being admitted to the hospital only Friday. From the wake I drove up here to the Dells, and jumped right in taking pictures in a packed room full of enthusiastic conservatives. What an interesting thing to be going on not too far from liberal Madison, Wisconsin!
I will have my official press credentials tomorrow, and hope to bring you some information about the groundswell of change in the air in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is another state that is being turned inside out. Political candidates are here, and there is some electricity in the air.
Lord Monckton said the only other organization in Wisconsin that has numbers similar to Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin in Wisconsin is…the Teachers’ Union; a publicly funded organization.
Joe the Plumber is here….
In addition these folks are the Freedom Team which will be taking part in the Opening Ceremony tomorrow:
