GOPUSA ILLINOIS
March 17, 2010

Fellow Republicans:

News clips and upcoming event information:

BELLEVILLE NEWS DEMOCRAT

(DIERSEN: GOPUSA ILLINOIS urges people who have major skeletons in their closets (such as a DUI, infidelity, or homosexual activity that you falsely deny) to not run as a Republican for government or party offices. Sooner or later, Democrats will use your skeletons to a) blackmail you and/or defeat you and b) foist your skeletons on all Republicans. Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, contributors, activists, etc. are held to much much much higher standards than their Democrat counterparts are. Each and every Republican candidate, elected official, party leader, contributor, activist, etc. should understand that soon or later, the Democrats will bring all your major skeletons out of your closets and foist those skeletons on all Republicans. Of course, Democrats want to control when and how they go public with your skeletons. Often, Democrats want the skeletons that Republican candidates have to be covered up until AFTER they win primary elections. Of course, a) Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, contributors, activists, etc., and their operatives who have major skeletons in their closets and b) Democrats who want to control when and how those skeletons are brought out of closets work very hard against your GOPUSA Illinois Editor.)

NBC5

(DIERSEN: Kirk should say that Obama “will be” a one-termer because of the many anti-conservative things that Obama has already done and wants to do.)

(DIERSEN: The Combine members and other anti-conservatives who dominate the Illinois Republican Party State Central Committee filled the Jack Ryan vacancy in a “smoke-filled room” in 2004 as they filled the Topinka vacancy in 2005 and as they filled the McKenna vacancy in 2009.)

CHICAGO TRIBUNE

(DIERSEN: Coyotes and their supporters are overjoyed that Mouhelis has “changed his mind.”)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Resident Arlene Greenberg told the council she grew up in Wheaton and commonly saw coyotes. “I never got eaten by one – I used to follow them around,” she said. Now, she said, they are considered a nuisance rather than part of the natural environment. “You’re a million times more likely to get bit by the family pet,” Greenberg said. Those opposing the cull have found at least one more like-minded council member. After a question from a resident, Councilman Tom Mouhelis, who supported the culling in February, said he had changed his mind after doing some research. However, of the six council members, only Mouhelis and John Prendiville have publicly expressed opposition.)

(DIERSEN: My understanding that because welfare benefits are so generous in Illinois, that many on welfare will not even consider taking a job that pays less than $20 an hour.)

(DIERSEN: I am going to submit the census form even though Democrats and RINOs who reject the rule of law; who believe in moral relativism; who believe that “their end justifies their means;” who blame all past, present, and future problems on conservatives; and who make it clear that they want to eliminate me and eliminate my GOPUSA ILLINOIS daily emails will have access to my form.)

Angelica should acknowledge that many Libertarians are using the Republican Party’s “big tent” policy to jump in bed with advocates of promiscuity, of homosexual activity, of prostitution, of abortion, of legalizing all drugs, of gambling, and of worse to drive conservatives out of the Republican Party.

DAILY HERALD

(DIERSEN: Coyotes and their supporters are overjoyed that Jayson Cheever and Jennifer Taber side with the Coyotes and against the humans, against the dogs, etc.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: About a dozen people opposed to the “coyote control program” peppered city officials with questions Monday about the methods being used to trap and kill the animals. Several asked council members to reconsider the city’s contract with On Target ADC. The DeKalb-based company has been paid $4,500 so far to perform an assessment of the city’s coyote population and remove four of the animals. As part of its deal with Wheaton, On Target will receive an additional $250 for each coyote it captures. While the city says it’s targeting “diseased coyotes and coyotes that exhibit aggressive behavior,” resident Jennifer Taber said homeowners who have problems with coyotes or other wildlife should pay to hire their own trapper. “I don’t know why you would ask the taxpayers of Wheaton to pay $4,500 for something someone can do themselves,” Taber said. “Please stop the culling.” Resident Jayson Cheever agreed. “I urge the city council to end this unjustified spending and concentrate on real issues affecting the city, like police, fire protection and roads. . .” Cheever said.)

(DIERSEN: How soon will the Democrats’ failed policies force Naperville to install downtown “machine gun nests?”)

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

(DIERSEN: How many will come back pregnant, with new sexually transmitted diseases, and/or with alcohol and/or drug damaged brains?)

(DIERSEN: I became a lifetime AARP member in 1996 when I was 48 years old. Maybe that was influenced by the fact that my liberal Democrat GAO superiors had been telling me since 1980, when I was 31 years old, that I was too old to have a successful career at GAO.)

CRAIN’S CHICAGO BUSINESS

SUBURBAN CHICAGO NEWS

(DIERSEN: I certainly hope that sex offenders are banned from loitering in Wheaton parks, including the Prairie Path Park in my precinct that I adopted.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Sexual offenders would be banned from visiting or loitering near Illinois public parks, including state parks, under the provisions of legislation sponsored by state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Hinsdale, that is advancing through the Illinois General Assembly.)

(DIERSEN: How soon will the Democrats’ failed policies force Naperville to install downtown “machine gun nests?”)

(DIERSEN: Hopefully, Lake County will ban “adult” stores. Of course, the Libertarians and advocates of promiscuity and homosexual activity and worse who have invaded, infested, corrupted, and all but destroyed the Republican Party would oppose such a ban.)

SUBURBAN LIFE

(DIERSEN: The Democrat Party always a) demonizes and denigrates Republicans as being “rich” and glorifies and praises Democrats as being “poor.” The Democrat Party platform is vehemently anti-religious. I have lived in Wheaton since 1978 and during that time, I have monitored the actions of Wheaton’s elected officials and top officials very closely. Despite the Democrat Party’s full blown efforts for many decades a) to drive all the “rich” Republicans out of Wheaton and replace them with “poor” Democrats and b) to drive all the religious people out of Wheaton and replace them with Democrats, Wheaton remains overwhelmingly Republican and overwhelmingly religious. Wheaton officials should understand that the Democrat Party despises Republicans and despises religious people, and therefore, the Democrat Party despises Wheaton and despises its elected officials. Understandably, those Wheaton officials who are Democrats are in an awkward position. The Democrat Party wants them to focus all their efforts on a) driving Republicans and religious people out of the city and b) replacing them with Democrats. But by definition, Democrats are “poor,” and sadly, therefore, by definition, they need more “social services” and commit more crime. Of course, needless-to-say, the more Democrats that you have in a city, the more budgetary problems that city has. Some day, if I find the time, I will write a book on the many actions that a top Democrat Wheaton official and an extremely wealthy influential nasty “Republican” Wheaton businessman have taken during the last three decades to demonize me, to denigrate me, to destroy me, and of course, to drive me out of Wheaton. If things get worse, I can and will name scores of a) people who treat me as though they have been offered huge amounts of money to harm me and/or they have been threatened with physical violence if they don’t harm me and b) people who make it clear to me that they believe that I owe them because they have not harmed me more than they have already harmed me. Needless-to-say, Wheaton would be in much been financial condition today if that Wheaton official and that Wheaton businessman had not spend so much time, money, and effort trying to eliminate me during the last three decades.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: In a city press release, Mayor Michael Gresk strongly urged Quinn to rethink his proposal. “We have and are sharing the pain,” Gresk said. “We have balanced our budgets and we have made the hard decisions to live within our means.” The city has laid off more than 20 people and cut 14 vacant positions in the past year.)

PIONEER LOCAL

(DIERSEN: I will be very interested in seeing how the remapping affects the 6th Congressional District, the 48th Senate District, the 95th House District, the 4th DuPage County District, the West Wheaton District, and Milton Township Precinct 9. Because the Republican turnout in Milton Township Precinct 9 is so high, Democrats and RINOs will want to stick the precinct in with districts that have Democrat or RINO majorities.)

CAPITOL FAX

(DIERSEN: By his words and by his actions, soon to be elected Illinois Republican Party (IRP) Chairman Pat Brady is making it even more clear than his predecessors Judy Baar Topinka and Andy McKenna did that if you are not overjoyed with what the IRP has accomplished, if you are not overjoyed with what the IRP is doing, or if you support SB600, you should leave the party. Of course, because that will further destroy the IRP, the Democrats and RINOs are overjoyed with that.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Progress Illinois appears a bit bummed out by yesterday’s state central committee meeting: “As you may remember, back in early February the Scott Lee Cohen debacle spurred a refreshing amount of criticism regarding House Speaker Michael Madigan’s longstanding reign as chairman of the Democratic Party of Illinois – a tenure that has been marked by a laser-like focus on his House majority and complete neglect of federal races. The Sun-Times’ Lynn Sweet even wrote that he had done “an awful job” as party chairman. There was even some hope that some Democratic committeemen would put up a fight when it came time to consider his reelection this spring.” As you may know by now, Madigan was unanimously reelected yesterday by the state central committee. Political Rule Number One: The mushrooms always complain and moan, but then they always get in line. This rule most certainly applies to the Illinois House and, apparently, the state central committee.)

EXAMINER

(DIERSEN: When will Steel meet with conservatives, that is, with platform Republicans, that is, with the base of the Republican Party? Beyond outrageously, in Illinois, by their words and/or by their actions, many Illinois Republican Party (IRP) leaders make it very clear that they would be overjoyed if all the conservatives, that is, all the platform Republicans, that is, the base of the IRP would leave the IRP. Similarly, beyond outrageously, those who are in America illegally have made it clear by their words and/or by their actions that they would be overjoyed if all the Americans would leave America.)

THE HILL

(DIERSEN: This posting includes a video clip titled “GOP: Racked by Scandal.” Should I publish the names of those “Republicans” who a) threaten to punish me and/or b) do punish me for my refusing to cover up wrongdoing by “Republicans?”)

BLOOMBERG

WASHINGTON TIMES

(DIERSEN: Beyond tragically, by his words and/or by his actions, Obama makes it clear that his top priorities are a) ending America’s role as the leader of the free world, b) ending religion, c) replacing capitalism with socialism/communism/totalitarianism, d) promoting abortion and homosexual activity, e) ending the Bill of Rights, f) making it illegal to provide health care in America unless you are a federal employee or contractor who gives lots of money to the Democrat Party, g) surrendering America to Mexico, and h) eliminating conservatives. Note to all you “Independents” out there — the Democrats and RINOs have made it clear that if you do not jump in bed with them, they will eliminate you just like they will eliminate the Republicans.)

(DIERSEN: As everyone knows, Democrats and RINOs blame all problems, including all bad weather, on conservatives, that is, on platform Republicans, that is, on the base of the Republican Party.)

(DIERSEN: As everyone knows, a) Republicans want transparency and b) Democrats and RINOs hate transparency.)

(DIERSEN: Democrats and RINOs should be honest — in addition to amnesty for ANYONE who promises to vote for Democrats or for RINOs, their plan is to have “open borders” with Mexico, Canada, etc. and that ANYONE who promises to vote for Democrats or for RINOs can walk right in. The only question that Democrats and RINOs still have is should these foreigners also be required to promise to blame all problems on Republicans, to promise to drive all Republicans out of America, and, to promise to eliminate all Republicans, if necessary. The big problem that Democrats and RINOs face is that a huge percentage of all taxes paid in America is paid by Republicans. If you kill off Republicans, you are killing off those who pay for government.)

WALL STREET JOURNAL

(DIERSEN: Of course, the “free traders” blame this on conservatives, that is, on platform Republicans, that is, on the base of the Republican Party. Conservatives put America’s national security ahead of “free trade.”)

(DIERSEN: If/when the Democrat Party tells Google to eliminate Dave Diersen and his GOPUSA ILLINOIS daily emails, I certainly hope that Google can and does say NO.)
