CAIRO, Egypt (CNN) — The father of one of the hijackers who commandeered the first plane that crashed into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, praised the recent terror attacks in London and said many more would follow.
Speaking to CNN producer Ayman Mohyeldin Tuesday in his apartment in the upper-middle-class Cairo suburb of Giza, Mohamed el-Amir said he would like to see more attacks like the July 7 bombings of three London subway trains and a bus that killed 52 people, plus the four bombers.
Displayed prominently in the apartment were pictures of el-Amir’s son, Mohamed Atta, the man who is believed to have piloted American Airlines Flight 11 into the north tower of the World Trade Center as part of the attacks on the United States.
El-Amir said the attacks in the United States and the July 7 attacks in London were the beginning of what would be a 50-year religious war, in which there would be many more fighters like his son.
We’ve got to start calling things by their real names before our necks are under the sword and there is no place to turn for safety.
But then…sometimes terror works…as in the case of the Sunnis this week who called off their involvement in the writing of the Iraq constitution because of terrorist bombings. That’s why they keep doing it–because sometimes as a result, they get their way.
Well, what’s the truth? Atta’s father told in 2001 his son called him by phone after the attack. If this statement is true then the old statetement is also true.
Why not?
   Something is strange in the new statement: CNN quotes El-Amir with two unimportant sentence but the real important ones weren’t quoted.
Because it’s a commie message just like the french communist message about the Pentagon not being hit by an airplane. C’mon. You can’t tell the difference between propaganda by a man who hates the American government and the truth?
Atta promised to provide new evidence that would prove his son’s innocence. But in the end, the evidence he produced (a combination of widespread conspiracy theory that 4000 Jewish World Trade Center workers had been warned to stay home and claims that the man pictured in published photos from an airport surveillance camera had a heavier build than his son) failed to convince the media.
He’s full of it, just like the rest of them, and YOU, Benjamin.
“He is hiding in a secret place so as not to be murdered by the US secret services,” Mohammed el-Amir Atta, 66, told the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag. He also vehemently denied that his son – believed to have flown the first plane into the World Trade Centre – had taken part in the atrocities, blaming them instead on “American Christians”.
The interview paints a sad picture of a tortured man who has not come to terms with his 33-year-old son’s death or with the huge crime laid at his door. He said he feared the US would try to poison him.
What another pansy. Fits right in with crying whining leftist pansies of your ilk, Benjamin.
