I have to say that these two girls crack me up. I’ve been so wrapped up in collecting information, data, intel and so on about the Idema story that I haven’t been over to visit my favorite blogs in a while.

Lo and behold, what do I see, but two of my favorite blogging girls are mentioned in the Army Times!!!!

Yeah. This one right here.

Now considering they’re in the top 15 Milblogs, I’d say that ain’t too shabby. Considering they’re illustrious members of TWA, I’d say that speaks well for TWA as a whole (since recently 3 of our members including Euphoric Reality were nominated for the Weblog Awards of one type or another–Stop the ACLU for the Top Law Blog, Rightwing Nuthouse for the top Conservative Blog, Euphoric Reality for Top Milblog). I’m one happy blog mama!

But look at Heidi’s signature snark on the subject:

Ya know, for as much as we rock the damn boat around here, I’d think the Army Times writer could’ve come up with a more colorful description of our blog than the tepid sentence he used in his write-up of the Top 15 Milblogs. I mean, it’s so staid, that I gotta wonder, did he even drop in and visit? Especially lately, since there’s been a lot of shit goin’ on around here! Now, I’m not complainin’ that we got a mention in the Army Times – that’s pretty cool – but the dude didn’t even spell my name right! Here – look at this and try not to yawn:

Doh. That’s it. Seriously, no soldier is gonna rush to his computer and look us up based on that snoozer. Ok, yeah, I guess I’m complainin’ just a little.

Uh…girls, let’s not forget all the terrific work you did with the Gary Linderer story and the 75th Rangers F Company, 58th Long Range Patrol.

I’m going to keep plugging that one because I have a resident troll over here, compliments of Euphoric Reality as a result of their story and the crossover to the Idema story.
