– Again, GOPUSA ILLINOIS calls on Jim Ryan, Kirk Dillard, Andy McKenna, Adam Andrzejewski, Dan Proft, Bob Schillerstrom, and their supporters to host a world class DuPage County unity rally for Bill Brady – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
Everyone knows that for Bill Brady to win on November 2, he needs to get a tremendous number of votes in DuPage County. Everyone knows that if Brady does not win on November 2, Combine members, RINOs, and other anti-conservatives will blame conservatives, that is, platform Republicans, that is, the base of the Illinois Republican Party. Because the DuPage County Republican Central Committee has not scheduled a unity rally, because in the primary election, 88,523 in DuPage County voted for a gubernatorial candidate other than Brady, and because 867 who voted in that primary did not vote for any gubernatorial candidate, GOPUSA ILLINOIS calls on those who ran against Brady in the primary — Jim Ryan, Kirk Dillard, Andy McKenna, Adam Andrzejewski, Dan Proft, Bob Schillerstrom — and their supporters to get together and host a world class DuPage County unity rally for Brady. GOPUSA ILLINOIS pledges $500 to help cover costs associated with the event.
The rally should be similar to the one that the Illinois Republican Party hosted in Chicago on February 3. It should be FREE and scheduled ASAP in a very large centrally located hall. Each and every Republican candidate who appeared on a February 2 Republican ballot in DuPage County — including Mark Kirk, Patrick Hughes, Judy Biggert, Peter Roskam, Randy Hultgren, Jim Ryan, Kirk Dillard, Andy McKenna, Adam Andrzejewski, Dan Proft, Bob Schillerstrom, Matt Murphy, Jason Plummer, Steve Kim, Robert Enriquez, Judy Baar Topinka, Dan Rutherford, and Dan Cronin — should attend as well as each and every DuPage County Republican elected official, party leader, precinct committeeman, and contributor. Again, GOPUSA ILLINOIS pledges $500 to help cover costs associated with the event.
27,408 in DuPage County voted for Jim Ryan — if Ryan got 1% of them to attend the rally, that would be 274. 21,566 voted for Kirk Dillard — if Dillard got 1% of them to attend, that would be 216. 18,412 voted for Andy McKenna — if McKenna got 1% of them to attend, that would be 184. 11,129 voted for Adam Andrzejewski — if Andrzejewski got 1% of them to attend — that would be 111. 7,817 voted for Dan Proft — if Proft got 1% to attend, that would be 78. 2,193 voted for Bob Schillerstrom — if Schillerstrom got 1% of them to attend, that would be 22. 274+216+184+111+78+22=885. Again, GOPUSA ILLINOIS pledges $500 to help cover costs associated with the event.
5,246 in DuPage County voted for Brady — 1,198 (23%) in Milton Township, 817 (16%) in York Township, 811 (15%) in Downers Grove Township, 720 (14%) in Lisle Township, 485 ( 9%) in Naperville Township, 404 ( 8%) in Bloomingdale Township, 310 ( 6%) in Winfield Township, 287 ( 5%) in Wayne Township, and 214 ( 4%) in Addison Township. If 10% of them attended, that would be 525. Again, GOPUSA ILLINOIS pledges $500 to help cover costs associated with the event.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Paul Fichtner, chairman of the county board’s finance committee, said the candidates should be concerned. He also has reservations about the current budget because of the increased reliance on a major sales tax revenue recovery and the impact that plays on borrowing for capital projects. “The whole linchpin in this is the (borrowing) program,” he said. “We’re already not making budget on sales tax receipts, so anytime we’re not on budget for revenues that almost paralyzes plans for expenditures.” Fichtner said April and May sales tax figures will play important roles in determining how much spending will take place this year, because those months performed so miserably last year. “We’re definitely going to be waiting until we see what happens with those two months that were tough months last year,” he said.)
(DIERSEN: What is the Daily Herald’s position on the Democrats and RINOs who allow if not encourage illegals to come to a town, to stay in a town, and to be counted in the census so that the town gets more “funds” from the federal government, that is, from Obama, that is, from the taxpayers, that is, from the Republicans?)
- DIERSEN HEADLINE: Fabian Lieschke of Washington, D.C. does not want anyone to link Obama with Hitler, but many of Obama’s promoters use many of Hitler’s tactics. According to the media, something is “news” only if can be spun to promote the Democrat Party platform or to get rid of a problem Democrat. Of course, like in 2007, if an elephant walks in Wheaton’s Independence Day parade behind Congressman Roskam, that is not “news” — just ask the Daily Herald. While the Suburban Chicago News treated it as “news,” it focused on the fact that the elephant went boom boom twice during the parade.)

- U.S. Rep. Debbie Halvorson , D-Crete, has been emphasizing her moderate — even conservative — credentials at a time when she’s been under fire from local Tea Party groups. Her office recently pointed out that Halvorson was ranked the “eighth most centrist” member of Congress in an analysis by National Journal Magazine. Last week, Halvorson announced that she was on the pro-gun side of the McDonald v. City of Chicago case before the U.S. Supreme Court, which will decide whether a Chicago ban on handguns should stand. Then, at a Friday event at Silver Cross Hospital, Halvorson made a thinly veiled reference to Sarah Palin when describing her style in Congress. “You know me,” she told the crowd. “I’m a bit of a — I hate to say it — pit bull.”) 22

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A cartoon-decorated page dubbed “The Evil Empire” depicts President Obama as The Joker, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as Cruella DeVille and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as Scooby Doo. Call it far-right humor, but these illustrations come from a 72-page PowerPoint strategy presentation given last month at a $2,500-a-head Republican retreat at Boca Grande, Fla. It talks about big donors as “ego-driven”, subject to “Peer to Peer pressure, desirous of “access” and “tchochkes. Small donors are summed up under a heading “Visceral Giving.” They are motivated by “fear,” “extreme negative feelings toward existing Administration,” and depicted as “Reactionary.” A party of honorable presidents — the upbeat Ronald Reagan, the steady-handed Dwight Eisenhower, the decent Gerald Ford — has never looked pettier than in this PowerPoint. Republican National Committee finance director Ron Bickhart used it in a Feb. 18 presentation.)

– Again, reasons why RINO candidates, RINO elected officials, RINO party leaders, RINO contributors, RINO etc. might do little or nothing to help elect Brady – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
– They are RINOs
– They reject some, most, or all of the Illinois Republican Party platform
– They are anti-conservatives
– They only help elect candidates who live in their county, in their township, in their municipality, in their precinct, etc.
– They only help elect candidates who promise to hire them, to give them the state contracts they want, to pass the legislation they want, etc.
– They only help candidates who will do their bidding 100% of the time
– They would rather have Quinn in the governor’s mansion – someone who they “can work with”
– They are involved in politics solely to advance themselves personally or they are forever blindly, totally, and solely loyal to one of the Republican gubernatorial candidates who lost
GOPUSA ILLINOIS
– Why didn’t GOPUSA ILLINOIS endorse any candidate in the primary? – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
While GOPUSA ILLINOIS did everything it reasonably could to promote Republican turnout for the primary, why didn’t GOPUSA ILLINOIS endorse any candidate in the primary? The answer is that for many years, the Combine members, RINOs, and other anti-conservatives who dominate the Illinois Republican Party (IRP), the DuPage County Republican Central Committee (DCRCC), the Milton Township Republican Central Committee (MTRCC), etc. have made it very clear that the harder that I work to elect a candidate in a primary, the harder that they will work against that candidate. They know that the more that a viable candidate has demonstrated that if elected, he/she can and will defend and advance the IRP platform, the more that I am motivated to help that candidate win. Those who work against me work against such candidates. Those who dominate the IRP, the DCRCC, and the MTRCC and their operatives work against just about everything that I work for. They a) demonize and denigrate me to anyone who will listen to them, especially voters in my precinct, and b) they blame me for all past, present, and future problems.
I am very proud that of Milton Township’s 109 precincts, with 29%, my precinct had the 9th highest percentage Republican turnout — 129 of the 440 registered voters in my precinct cast Republican ballots. Bill Brady won the gubernatorial race by only 193 votes. If 194 more of my 440 registered voters had cast Republican ballots, and if all of them had voted for Dillard, Dillard, instead of Brady, would be our gubernatorial candidate. What if Combine members, RINOs, and other anti-conservatives didn’t dominate the IRP, the DCRCC, the MTRCC, etc.? What if they hadn’t made it very clear that the harder that I work to elect a candidate in a primary, the harder that they will work against that candidate? What if I had endorsed Dillard? What if I had worked hard to help Dillard win? What if 194 more of my 440 registered voters had cast Republican ballots? What if all of them had voted for Dillard? ANSWER: Dillard, instead of Brady, would be our gubernatorial candidate.
