Passion Of the Christ won the Peoples Choice Awards!!!!

While Alexander flopped at the box office, we have this tally–Because of you, and 400,809 other Online supporters of the American Family Association, The Passion of The Christ won first place in the CBS People’s Choice Awards. The film won in the drama movie category. The winners were announced last night on CBS.

CBS didn’t give their totals, but it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that The Passion of The Christ received more votes than any other entrant.

Thanks for caring enough to get involved.

And did you notice it was the final award of the night?

I was really glad to see a film Gibson had so much trouble marketing to distributors did so well. It showed moviemakers there is a genre out there that deserves better than “B” grade budgets.

It’s totally driven by politics and the liberal agenda. Not sure it’s going to make much of a statement, although this whole fight made a big statement on behalf of what it is we’re facing here. Not a pretty picture, I’m afraid.
