Wictory Wednesday

Now that the holidays are over, we’re back into the “groove”. Today is Wictory Wednesday.

Social Security reform is necessary but accomplishing this task will be difficult. My President isn’t afraid to take on this monumental undertaking. Helping make it happen are groups like Progress for America, who came up with the inimitable “Ashley’s story” ad during the election. Watch their new TV ad on Social Security here. Help spread the word by contributing to Progress for America.

Today is Wictory Wednesday. Every Wednesday, hundreds of bloggers ask their readers to donate to an important Republican campaign.

If you’re a blogger, you can join Wictory Wednesdays by e-mailing Polipundit at wictory@blogsforbush.com. He’ll add you to the Wictory Wednesday blogroll and also send you a reminder e-mail every Wednesday, explaining which candidate or initiative to support that day.

Here’s the list of blogs currently participating in Wictory Wednesdays:

Hey, tracyv, why don’t you shut the **** up?
I live in a red state, and I’m damn glad I do. There are a whole LOT less idiots like you screeching around here.

Chickenshit moonbat doesn’t even leave her site link (if she has one) or email! I guess I wouldn’t want to own up to that kind of stupidity either, though.

I just think it’s priceless that they not only think they have the right to tell us what to say and what not to say, but where to live, too.

Considering a good chunk of Republicans tell other people to move to Canada or that they’re French for not supporting the war, “only” the troops, you should just look at it the way sensible liberals do: we ignore people who make unreasonable comments.

I’m sorry for you that the Bush administration finally admitted that there are no weapons of mass destruction, the reason that Congress passed the decision to go to war. I am glad myself, so that we are incredibly careful next time when the President and Congress must decide to send our young people to war and danger.

As for your Kid Rock post, I find it disgusting that he is going to perform. For a president so hyped up on morality, he seems to turn the other way when it really matters. His decision to be remembered this way should make you question his views and how “in touch” he is with the reality of the world.

I doubt a Democrat would have had Eminem as the inaugural musician.

As this issue of the Cyber Alert reports from the Media Research Center, the media has been has been making hay with old news. I’m just sorry they’re imploding on themselves like that and that certain of us can’t see beyond the smoke and mirrors.

Newsweek’s chief political reporter, Howard Fineman, conceded in an online posting late Tuesday afternoon that the mainstream media have acted like a political party and in the wake of the CBS scandal that party “is dying before our eyes.” What he dubbed the American Mainstream Media Party (AMMP) “is being destroyed by the opposition (or worse, the casual disdain) of George Bush’s Republican Party; by competition from other news outlets (led by the internet and Fox’s canny Roger Ailes); and by its own fraying journalistic standards.”
