<img src='http://caosblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/cafassomug.jpg' alt='cafassomug.jpg''align='right' />The Amazing Joe Cafasso: FBI Agent; CIA Operative; Delta Force Colonel; White House Staff; Secret Service Agent; Nuclear Weapons Inspector; Navy SEAL; Special Forces Lt Colonel; Navy Lt Commander; and NOW–FINALLY– STORM CHASER for the US Government and NTSB Advisor….!!!

Joe Cafasso: “At Fox News the Colonel Who Wasn’t” - the story continues…

Joe Cafasso REALLY IS the Carteret Con Artist. His latest adventures include the arrest in Indiana on January 22, 2009 which was preceded by a typical Cafasso-esque scene: his forcing himself into a search and rescue operation at the Indiana Dunes; bragging that helicopters would appear which never did, and elbowing his way into the rescue tent and barking orders at everyone. Out of all the rescue personnel at the scene, it was Cafasso, AKA Robert Stormer, who was quoted by the press~! It was his strange behavior and injecting himself into the life of a widow that drew the attention of local authorities. A man who appears from nowhere with no past or friends and relatives should not be trusted. After his traffic stop where he had no valid identification, he was eventually arrested for ‘failure to appear’ in court. It was only then that he admitted that he was Joe Cafasso, but claimed he was going by an alias because spooks were after him.The charges, which interestingly enough, are not mentioned when you call the jail-are “providing false information” to law enforcement (he at first tried to tell him he was Robert Stormer before eventually admitting he is actually Joe Cafasso), “driving on a suspended license”, “speeding”, and using the name and social security number of a 13-year-old girl in Rhode Island whose name is Robin Storm (identity theft).

We always thought that Cafasso was just a blowhard con-man who used (among other things) fake military credentials to gain fame and fortune, mostly to stroke his ego and make a few easy bucks off the unsuspecting “mark”. The true purpose of Cafasso’s lifelong con game only recently came to to light: Cafasso has been running a lonely heart’s scam all this time. The list of the women left in his wake has grown considerably. And sadly, the most recent was a woman in Indiana: used, abused, and skipped out on.

A Mensa Girl- First, there was the “mark” in Washington DC, who Cafasso spun his CIA tales to. He got a job with FOX News as a Delta Force Colonel and served as their Military Analyst for the 2001-2002 Afghan war. He was exposed by Jack Idema and a bevy of real Special Forces officers in early 2002, and was then fired from FOX (NY Times- The Colonel Who Wasn’t). The woman brilliant: well educated, and well off, with her own townhouse in DC, but lonely. After six months with Cafasso she was broke, left alone standing at the altar, and in fear for her life. Cafasso told her that he was deep undercover with the CIA and if she ever complained about him she would die. She so believed this that she moved to a remote area of West Virginia, used a PO Box in another town, and went into hiding. It took 6 months for Special Forces soldiers to find her so Jack Idema could interview her. When they first showed up at her house, the woman said “please don’t kill me.” The response from Jack was, “What? What are you talking about? Are you crazy?” And then it all came out. Cafasso had led her to believe that there was already a CIA hit team looking for her. The interview was frightening; Cafasso had turned the woman’s life into a living hell, driving her from family and friends into a life of solitude and fear.

A Boston Girl- Then, there was a lady in Boston. Divorced, lonely, with a beautiful condo. Cafasso spun his web around her next. Five months later, after being outed in a bar by a Massachusetts police officer, Cafasso attacked Robin Moore, beating the old man for telling him he would not be part of Moore’s new Special Forces book. Moore was left with extensive bruises from the beating. Cafasso high-tailed it out of there. He left behind his new love and took her money. But, as fate would have it, in his haste to leave town, Cafasso also left behind two cartons of papers. Those papers later ended up in Jack Idema’s hands and painted a picture of extensive fraud by Cafasso, who was working with Ed Artis at Knightsbridge to fraudulently obtain USAID grants of millions of dollars posing as phony Knights and Colonels with phony PhDs.

A Columbia Girl- Mariah Blake. Then

A New York Girl- Stacy Sullivan. Then

A CNN Girl- Christine Dolan. Then

A Skinny Little Tramp Girl- Kathryn Kramer

A Classic Lonely Hearts Girl – Andrea Ello

And who else…??? The tale continues…

February 7, 2009
Post-Tribune staff report

A traffic stop at Indiana Dunes State Park has led to an ongoing investigation involving a man whose past includes swindling Fox News and national political figures, local law enforcement agents say.

Joseph Cafasso, being held at Porter County Jail, was the subject of a 2002 New York Times article and has a Wikipedia page detailing his exploits.

Officials declined to talk about the ongoing case, which involves several federal agencies.

“There are a lot of things involved here that I can’t get into at this point,” said Officer Bob Kauffmann of the Department of Natural Resources, who initiated the investigation.

It’s believed that Cafasso impersonated rescue personnel in a drowning at Lake Michigan last year.

That is, in fact what he did, and he was the only part of the rescue operation that was quoted in the Tribune - only under his alias, Robert Stormer, in order to build credibility around his persona as the ‘weather guy’ or ’storm chaser’.

In October, Kauffmann stopped Cafasso for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

So Cafasso was STOPPED for speeding and driving on a suspended license–but it doesn’t say he was issued a ticket.

Cafasso also provided Kauffmann with false information, including the alias “Robert Stormer.”

What I think is the key issue is that he provided Kauffmann with a false ID which read “Robert Stormer” instead of “Joe Cafasso”, and didn’t have a valid driver’s license.

And when Cafasso failed to appear in court last month, Kauffmann obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Even though Cafasso probably knew by this time that the walls were caving in on the Robert Stormer persona, and he had no evidence to produce that he was in fact Robert Stormer, he avoided going to court to face the music! It would appear that on top of everything else, he has poor problem solving skills as a conman…you’d think he would have thought up some way out of it, or some way to disappear like he did in Mississippi and Louisiana -such as invent a health problem that he had to disappear for and privately deal with.

The curious case of Cafasso came to light Monday when a Chesterton resident turned over Cafasso’s Apple laptop to Chesterton police. Kauffmann is waiting for a search warrant to access the laptop.

It’s not curious at all when you consider who it is we’re dealing with here. Cafasso is still in possession of Kathryn Cramer’s laptop, and she was working with his girlfriend and her sons to get the laptop returned to her.

<blockquotethe mother of the Chesterton resident had been in a relationship with "Robert Stormer."

She was also in the car when "Stormer" was stopped for speeding, Kauffmann said.

More and more evidence is emerging that she has been his accomplice; not a mere victim, just like Kathryn Cramer – right down to the online tag team they developed between the two websites belonging to “Andrea” aka “Bunny E. Rabbit” and Rob Storm.

The woman, who resides in Tefft, in northeastern Jasper County, met “Stormer” about a year ago through an online dating service. They later moved in together. According to the police report, he took control over some of the woman’s finances before she learned he was a fraud.

Cafasso is trolling for women on the internet, and wants someone who doesn’t ask questions, as you can see at his bio at this dating website where he calls himself a “shipdude” and a “master diver”- and other ridiculous things. But saying he took ‘control’ over ’some of the woman’s finances’ is really an understatement when you consider she is loosing both of her homes due to foreclosure. He “borrowed” money under a fictitious name and false circumstances; that I would call “embezzlement”.

According to the Chesterton police report, the woman and her son believe that Cafasso built a case against a man named Jack Idema, who also has a Wikipedia page.

The police report continues:”Idema is allegedly a Special Forces soldier who went rogue and tortured people in Afghanistan without approval from his superiors. He was jailed in a military prison for this and he blames Cafasso for his troubles.”

Wow, who furnished that load of crap? Idema is the Special Forces soldier on whom Cafasso at Stuporpatriots focused all of his venom and deathwishes on; some of which extended over to me because I took on the Idema cause and contradicted what it was he was trying to accomplish. It is Cafasso who blames Idema for loosing his job at Fox; which really is an oversimplistic view of what really happened. There were many people who had suspicions about Cafasso at Fox; and it wasn’t only Idema. Plus, it was Veriseal that did an investigation on Cafasso and uncovered him as a fraud!

Police say Idema knew about Cafasso’s laptop. Idema contacted the Chesterton man through a phone search and told him he wanted the computer.

Idema, as far as I know, could care less about getting the laptop itself. I’m certain that he, like so many others, is interested in the contents. That is an inaccurate depiction of what really happened. Why would the Chesterton man say such a thing? Or is that what Ms. Kathryn Cramer would have people believe so as to keep the information out of Idema’s hands? It’s difficult to say.

So he and his mother brought it to Chesterton Police.

You can’t blame the guy for not wanting to get in between Cafasso and Idema, LOL…it took me a long time before I decided I would plunge into that divide.

Cafasso was successful in duping institutions and high-profile military and political figures as a well-connected counterintelligence expert who had a high-rank career in the Special Forces, according to an April 29, 2002, story in the New York Times.

The New York Times article was entitled “At Fox News The Colonel Who Wasn’t”.

Alleged victims included the Fox News network, Pat Buchanan’s presidential campaign and “several representatives, military officials and activists to whom he had sold himself for years.

Cafasso appeared as a military and counterterrorism expert during Fox’s coverage of the invasion of Afghanistan.

There are quite a few more people who were on the receiving end of his scams that are not listed there – including a woman who is loosing both of her homes due to foreclosure, and whose dogs are still in the kennel – after having been there for literally MONTHS.

“But records indicate that his total military experience was 44 days of boot camp at Fort Dix, N.J., in May and June 1976, and his honorable discharge as a private, first class.”

The article states Cafasso failed to show up to provide military records and other documents to The New York Times as he had promised.

And he completely repeated that scenario in Indiana when he refused to show up in court to prove who he was.

The article continues: “Mr. Cafasso, it appears, has used his story of battlefield glories to make friends, find work, and perhaps most importantly, find acceptance among people who walk the fringes of Washington’s power corridors, networking his way through a community of retired military officers to arrive at Fox News.”

That’s right, no matter what identity he assumes or name he uses, his irritating personality which assumes everyone else is an easy mark- is the same.

Apparently she’s a “correspondent” at/for the Christian Science Monitor now, as evidenced by her article GUANTÁNAMO EX-DETAINEE TELLS CONGRESS OF ABUSE. Well at least she’s moving up in the world; the last I knew she was ‘writing’ her hateful spew at the Miami New Times, a parcel of Village Voice media. Now she’s reinvented herself as a ‘freelance journalist’ and relocated to Hamburg, Germany. One wonders if this is the “german connection” that Cafasso was blabbering about with his veiled threats against Idema and his supporters back when Idema was in Afghanistan. At least we THINK she’s in Hamburg; that’s what it says on her little ‘contributor’ blurb at Mother Jones. Mother Jones is the leftist rag that fired Michael Moore; and now they have another claim to fame; they are recognizing Mariah Blake as a “journalist”. Here is her Linked In page.

Pakistan is now exposed. It is precisely what Jack Idema said it was four years ago; not exactly our friend. Back then, four years ago, Mariah Blake was claiming that Pakistan was our staunch ally, which is what they wanted us to think ….but that wasn’t reality.

It’s similar to what they want us to see in the Flight 93 Memorial. They don’t want us to see a memorial mosque to the terrorists there, so the liberals are just telling us it’s not there. Now if you’re going to believe Mariah Blake on the BS she said about Idema, and Joe Cafasso with what he and his little merry band of propagandists were spreading on the discussion forums, I’ve got a bridge I can sell you, and it’s a bargain.

As time wears on, though, Mariah Blake and her buddies Artis, Cafasso, Stacy Sullivan et al, who were talking trash about Idema have been exposed as total and complete liars. At the very least, they are complete imbeciles who have been steeped in the ideology of Human Rights Watch (which Sullivan is now working with and was probably involved with even then)- that only recognizes “abuses” when it suits a political purpose. Much like our government, which has begun to prosecute our own fighting forces in our courts for simply doing their jobs. But that’s true of leftists in general today; they operate with and by leftist double-standards that we’ve been seeing up close and personal in the poorly rated democratic congress, the media and the Obama campaign.

US Falls out with “Key Ally” Pakistan

Jack had the inside track and knew what was really going on; it’s too bad that people like Mariah Blake and Stacy Sullivan were determined -and allowed-to ruin efforts that would have given us an edge in fighting the WoT.

What I don’t like about that article is the consistent use of the term in quotations “war on terror” as though it’s a figment of someone’s imagination.

I doubt that anyone – whether muslim or otherwise – who’s been a victim of a terrorist attack would say that what Al Q and/or the muslim brotherhood are trying to accomplish is fictional; they out right claim the right to kill the unbelievers and that it’s not only justified in their holy book to do so, but they’re also justified in killing muslims who help the ‘crusaders’. They go so far as to carry out these murders of innocent civilians and people in wheelchairs; but these are the people Blake defends.

What’s disgusting is how much money we as a nation are pouring into these countries that really can’t stand us.

As I recall, Pakistan is where there was an office of al-muhajirun. Britain’s infamous Hassan Butt was a vocal supporter of terrorism and was pictured protesting in the streets, before he supposedly had a change of heart and thought to write a book about it. What’s interesting about that story is how he now says he made it all up.

Al Muhajiroun’s Bakri tells Muslims “terrorism is part of Islam” The MCB -Muslim Council of Britain = ‘Muslim Con Men of Britain’

Bakri refers to Al-Muhajirun as “the mouth, eyes and ears” of Bin Laden ”

Abu Dujana (Jemaah Islamiah) also had spent time in Pakistan.

We have been allowing extremists to help us set policy and by doing so, have been shooting ourselves in the foot.

Guys like Idema should have been allowed to continue their important work, because it was as clear then as it is now that Idema knew what the hell he was doing – and Mariah Blake should have put a sock in it.

It is to be noted that in Europe a majority of Al Muhajirun members are Pakistani Muslims

The organisation came to Pakistan together with Hizb al-Tahrir in 2000 but could not retain its foothold. It is possible that Naveed Butt now runs both organisations in Pakistan. (September 2005 Khaled Ahmed’s Review of the Urdu press)

Naveed Butt. Any relation to Hassan?

Naturally Mariah Blake is now crying for the terrorists at Gitmo in her articles rather than attacking the military or guys like Idema who were effective at gathering intelligence; there are others who’ve stepped up to that task….American prosecutors, for example, who’ve gone after a number of Special Forces guys for ridiculous charges.

Unfortunately they’ve made them stick.

It’s no way to win a war when you cripple your own ability to fight it, but that’s the mission of Mariah Blake and her kind.

It wasn’t that long ago, that three Americans were set up in a kangaroo Taliban-led court while the American governments turned its back to their fates and the media denied there was any such agreement.

This was argued in their Habeas Corpus Brief and the press said that no such agreement existed.

The “note,” which apparently still no one has seen, gave them all complete immunity, in fact it gave all americans working in Afghanistan complete immunity.

For the past six years, military relations between the United States and Afghanistan have been governed by a two-page “diplomatic note” giving U.S. forces virtual carte blanche to conduct operations as they see fit.

So… where are the blabbermouths NOW?
