somehow David Ratowitz won over Pulido and Lad in the 5th Congressional District

Republican voters took some strange steps in the voting booth yesterday in some of these races – the 5th District is one of the ones that is incredibly difficult to understand…but then I can’t believe how many voted for Topinka and Kelly, either – in the Comptroller’s race.

Light voter turnout produced close results in several races in Illinois primary 2010

Several of the races produced results so close there may be calls for recounts, and that includes races that democrats were competing in. I’ve heard it said, though, that light voter turnout is good for the republican base.
Brady and Dillard were very close in the Governor’s race.
