What Jeffrey Goldberg left out: Brunn was a radical Darwinist and Socialist

And so the devastating example of moral relativism Goldberg displays in the conclusion of this article really doesn’t make a whole helluva lot of sense.

The attacks in Arkansas and Washington are both manifestations of a radical type of intolerance, and they are linked in very deep ways. The left, generally speaking, doesn’t want to acknowledge Muslim intolerance, and the right, generally speaking, doesn’t want to acknowledge white, Christian intolerance. But they both exist, and they should both be acknowledged.

Fact is, Muslim intolerance is propped in the Koran and preached here in America in mosques and in prisons; Christian intolerance isn’t propped the Bible…except for the ten commandments, which was the basis for our laws. Christians are about following the law, Muslims are about changing our laws to sharia law; which is why you had that Islamic jail convert kill that soldier in Arkansas. He is following the laws of his religion, that’s all.

But Goldberg’s problem is that not all religions are the same. You can go down a list of things muslims have rioted about and killed people over but when you look at the Christian side to find the same things, you will not find them. Have Christians rioted over the piss Christ “artwork”? Have Christians rioted or killed muslims when Jesus’ birthplace was pissed on by muslims? Have Christians rioted when Jesus appears in cartoons?

I mean come on.

Goldberg ought to screw his head on straight and do a little more investigating before he makes such devastatingly stupid statements.

Christians are VERY tolerant - and that’s the whole problem - nobody is standing up to the editorializing BS that’s being passed off as “news” today….they apologize when Tiller the baby killer is murdered by a nut…and say they’re not about murder. Immediately after the murder, pro life-ers were out there denouncing Scott Roeder’s actions, and it’s apparent that Roeder had some serious mental problems and had been caught in the past with bomb making materials in his trunk.

Is this commonplace for Christians in their spare time? No.

Obama is creating some timebombs with what’s happening with peoples’ savings. Unemployment is on the rise, peoples’ homes are worth less, Americans’ personal wealth plummeted by 1.3 trillion, and over 60 million jobs have gone up in smoke. Von Brunn had been cut off his social security and was acting more and more desperate.

Here’s what Von Brunn says about Christians and the Holocaust:

The Gospels profess that only Christians may enter Yahweh’s Kingdom of Heaven. To qualify, among other demands, Christians must LOVE THEIR ENEMIES (Jews); give away their personal belongings; eschew knowledge; judge not, despise nature, abandon earthly pleasures, acknowledge that all YHWH’s children are equal; and above all else worship YHWH, the jealous, wrathful, vengeful, unforgiving, genocidal, anthropomorphic tribal god (Jesus’ father) created by Hebrews in their image and likeness. Omnipotent, omniscient YHWH promises Hebrews that they alone shall inherit the earth, that it is commendable to steal from Gentiles, better yet — kill them. Whereas Gentiles, if they fail to worship YHWH, are transported straight to Hell. And it is written, “A little child shall lead them.”

These dangerous, imbecilic, concepts, tenets, and teachings, often treasonous, DESTROYED the Roman Empire and drenched the soil of Europe with Aryan blood for almost 2000 years!

The Big Lie technique, employed by Paul to create the CHRISTIAN RELIGION, also was used to create the HOLOCAUST RELIGION … CHRISTIANITY AND THE HOLOCAUST are HOAXES.

Goldberg, excuse me for saying so, but no Christian would say that Christianity is a hoax.

You need to do some research or get out of the writing business.

Seriously.

The Confusion of the Pagans: moral relativism regarding the Christian Cross and other things - George Tiller the baby killer’s memorial service

Filed under: Faith in God , General @ 8:48 am

The Confusion of the Pagans

Moral relativism is a rather stupid thing to be proud of, but some liberals, like our old friend Piya, ARE.

In this article you can clearly see what it means to someone like Piya:

It would take a missile’s laser focus to cut through the confusion and conflict concerning the murder of late-term abortionist, Dr. George Tiller.

Either that, or a healthy dose of common sense.

Shot down in his church while ushering on a Sunday, the crime was shocking. The pro-abortion lobby is rightly grieving the loss of a colleague while strangely expressing no remorse for his thousands of little victims. The pro-life community is struggling to find the balance between relief that his death is saving lives and revulsion at the means by which they have been saved.

No one condones murder (except for communists with a small “c” like Billy Ayers or dictators like Barack Obama’s friend Hugo Chavez in Venequela or Castro in communist Cuba or even the left’s cult hero whose picture hung in Obama offices, the murdering terrorist Che Guevara)…but murder is what Tiller did…and murdering the innocent is the worst possible crime imaginable; it’s against God’s law. The fact that today our country and legal system both have travelled far enough from God’s law to make what Tiller did legal, doesn’t take away from the sorry fact that he routinely murdered innocents who had no voice as to whether they lived or died.

Dr. LeRoy Carhart, Nebraska abortion doctor who regularly aided Tiller in Kansas with late-term abortions, manifested his confusion at a memorial service for Dr. Tiller at the National Cathedral in Washington: “I think there is absolutely no difference in putting a cross in front of a person’s home because of what race they belong to than there is putting a cross in front of our homes because we do abortions.” Note to Dr. Carhart: The Ku Klux Klan and the pro-life movement use the cross for polar opposite purposes; the former to threaten death to the living … the latter to honor the innocent dead.

“This is the equivalent of Martin Luther King being assassinated,” he added. Dr. Martin Luther King, the civil rights leader who abhorred violence, compared to a late term abortionist who perfects violence as a trade?

What this fellow has done with that statement is perform a feat of astonishing moral inversion.

Dr. Carhart got emotional as he remembered his late-term partner, Dr. Tiller. One cannot blame him for the natural grief he must be experiencing, but we can take great issue with his use of the moment to perpetrate his twisted perspective.

“What I want to assure the press and reassure the women of America is that we will somehow, somewhere continue to provide abortions later in gestation.” Who exactly is assured by that statement? Who is comforted … happy … relieved? And what kind of man would spend his days dismembering live, kicking babies and delivering them part by part? What kind of man would assure women he will continue to perform the heinous act of stabbing a baby in the back of the head with scissors, suctioning its brains, crushing its skull as the lower body, already delivered, thrashes in pain, removing the head last so as to fool himself and the law into thinking it is not infanticide? What man is proud of that? What man lives and breathes that mission and what woman or member of the press applauds his assurance not to worry? It can happen to their baby or grandbaby in the future too?

Those are very important questions that pro abortionists and supporters of what Tiller did never adequately answer.

OBAMA Bowed to Saudi King, covered symbol of Christ at Georgetown-and now SNUBS National DAY OF PRAYER

Filed under: Faith in God , General @ 4:46 pm

“[I]t is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand….The only foundation of a free Constitution, is pure Virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into our People, in a great Measure, than they have it now, They may change their Rulers, and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting Liberty.”

–John Adams, letter to Zabdiel Adams, 21 June 1776

Obama to be prayer day no show - Washington Times

For those of us who have our doubts about Obama’s faith, no, we did not expect him to have the service,” said Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America. “But as president, he should put his own lack of faith aside and live up to the office.”

Referencing a remark the president made at a recent press conference in Turkey that Americans “do not consider ourselves a Christian nation,” she added: “That was projecting his own beliefs, but not reflecting what the majority of Americans feel. It’s almost like Obama is trying to remake America into his own image. This is not a rejection of Shirley Dobson; it’s a rejection of the concept that America is a spiritual nation and its foundation is Judeo-Christian.”

Obama snubs our long held tradition of a national day of prayer, but is quick to bow before the Saudi King and insisted that the symbol representing Jesus Christ be covered up before his speech at Georgetown University on April 24. His recent actions including his European apology tour and Bush bashing-are unprecedented by any American President.

Now he tops it off with his refusal to attend the National Day of Prayer gathering on May 11, 2009.

The first call to prayer was in 1775, when the Continental Congress asked the American colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation. The call to national prayer continued as a time honored tradition through US history, supported by several American presidents. George Washington proclaimed a day of public thanksgiving and prayer on February 15th, 1873. President Lincoln called a day of “humiliation, fasting, and prayer” during the Civil War in 1863. President Truman signed a joint resolution by Congress declaring an annual national day of prayer in 1952. The National Prayer Committee was created in 1972; The National Day of Prayer Task Force is a project of that committee. In 1988 Senate bill, S 1378, was introduced by Stron Thurmond (R-SC); a matching House version was initiated by Tony Hall, (D-OH). It received broad bipartisan sponsorship and support, and became Public Law 100-307 and was signed by President Reagan, permanently setting the day as the first Thursday of every May.

Even Bill Clinton recognized this tradition-

1993: “Through prayer our people take a moment away from the concerns of everyday life to understand the greater power that gives us guidance. We come together in an act common to all religions.”
1994: “I encourage the citizens of this great Nation to gather, each in his or her own manner, to recognize our blessings, acknowledge our wrongs, to remember the needy, to seek guidance for our challenging future, and to give thanks for the abundance we have enjoyed throughout our history.”
1995: “I call upon every citizen of this great Nation to gather together on that day to pray, each in his or her own manner, for God’s continued guidance and blessing.”
1996: “And though our citizens come from every nation on Earth and observe an extraordinary variety of religious faith [sic] and traditions, prayer remains at the heart of the American spirit.”
1997: “…let us uphold the tradition of observing a day in which every American, in his or her own way, may come before God seeking increased peace, guidance, and wisdom for the challenges ahead.”
1998: “In every city, town, and rural community across our country, people of every religious denomination gather to worship according to their faith. In churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques, Americans come together to pray.”

And last year, all 50 state governors plus the governors of several U.S. territories signed similar proclamations.

The Presidential Prayer Team was born out of the national tragedy of September 11, 2001. Since then, millions have joined together through PPT to pray for the President, his cabinet, the nation and our Armed Forces. PPT is the largest organization dedicated to praying for our President and our nation. (Although I sincerely doubt that Obama would dare recognize a group of individuals who represent the Jesus he wants covered or who would be praying for his efforts and for the efforts of his administration.)

Still, all of this adds up to the fact that there is a large segment of our population that Obama is intentionally dissing by avoiding attending the national day of prayer.

One is left to wonder why Barack Obama feels compelled to abandon this rich American Judeo-Christian tradition?

White House promoting anti-Christian bigotry

Filed under: Communist, Socialist & Nazi , Faith in God , Obama @ 10:53 am

White House promoting ‘anti-Christian’ policies?

Well considering my knowledge of marxism, I expect no less from this lying miscreant who stole the election. I can’t believe there have been no challenges to the supposed numbers - considering Acorn’s recruiting people to vote numerous times, and foreign donations that helped him get a leg up over his opponent who was following the rules.

Christian persecution is rampant in socialist/communist nations, but welcome to the hope and change that brings it here to America.

A leading conservative activist says President Obama has already signaled, during his first days in office, that his administration will be the most “extreme, left-wing, and discriminatory” in American history.

President Obama’s plans to cater to the priorities of homosexual activists are laid out under a section called “Civil Rights” on the website WhiteHouse.gov. (See earlier story)

The website makes clear Obama’s intention to expand federal hate crimes statutes to include extra punishment for crimes that are deemed to be motivated by bias against one’s sexual orientation or gender identity. The site also stresses Obama’s support for homosexual civil unions and expanded adoption rights for homosexuals, as well as his desire to repeal the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy and the federal Defense of Marriage Act (a.k.a., DOMA).

Can there be a more mindbending idea than elevating Wiccans and their holidays like the Winter Solstice while simultaneously calling baby Jesus in a manger hatespeech? The mind boggles when people who believe in black cats; spells; animal sacrifice; breaking mirrors will bring you bad luck; even human blood sacrifice– would turn around and call Christianity a ’superstition’, LOL. But it somewhat explains their sickening and sadistic enthusiasm for killing innocent babies.

Happy Thanksgiving

Filed under: Faith in God , General @ 11:53 am

Despite that cultural marxism that we have to contend with today, I am still grateful we live in relative freedom. I say ‘relative’ because it’s a far cry from what our founders envisioned for us when they created our founding documents, and we now have a president-elect who seems to have taken the advice of William Ayers when he said “if you don’t like the rules, break them.”

I am particularly grateful this Thanksgiving because - this may be one of the last ones we are allowed to celebrate as Christians…

So let’s remember that first Thanksgiving Proclamation and give thanks to God for all we have, and for the sacrifice he made in his only Son, Jesus Christ; to wash away what AA calls ‘character defects” and what the Bible calls sin - in order for us to be acceptable for heaven and spending the rest of eternity with God.

General Thanksgiving
By the PRESIDENT of the United States Of America
A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favour; and Whereas both Houfes of Congress have, by their joint committee, requefted me “to recommend to the people of the United States a DAY OF PUBLICK THANSGIVING and PRAYER, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to eftablifh a form of government for their safety and happiness:”

NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and affign THURSDAY, the TWENTY-SIXTH DAY of NOVEMBER next, to be devoted by the people of thefe States to the fervice of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our fincere and humble thanksfor His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the fignal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpofitions of His providence in the courfe and conclufion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have fince enjoyed;– for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to eftablish Conftitutions of government for our fafety and happinefs, and particularly the national one now lately instituted;– for the civil and religious liberty with which we are bleffed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffufing useful knowledge;– and, in general, for all the great and various favours which He has been pleafed to confer upon us.

And also, that we may then unite in moft humbly offering our prayers and fupplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and befeech Him to pardon our national and other tranfgreffions;– to enable us all, whether in publick or private ftations, to perform our feveral and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a bleffing to all the people by conftantly being a Government of wife, juft, and conftitutional laws, difcreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all fovereigns and nations (especially fuch as have shewn kindnefs unto us); and to blefs them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increafe of fcience among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind fuch a degree of temporal profperity as he alone knows to be beft.

Thanksgiving a violation of church and state?

Give me a freakin’ break.

Chuck Norris:

Is government observance of Thanksgiving a violation of the separation of church and state?

In a culture on the fast track of secular progressivism, I knew sooner or later I would read or hear a news report that proclaimed there is something constitutionally errant with the state recognition of Thanksgiving, a holiday that is at its heart about thanks-giving to God. With the Christmas culture war almost passé, it was only a matter of time before the day that honors the Christian Pilgrims came under attack. Secularists seek to seize your nativities – and now they are trying to steal your turkey.

Last week a Newsweek/Washington Post editorial labeled presidential Thanksgiving day proclamations “cracks in the wall of separation.” The author explained, “The problem with these proclamations, it seems to me, is that they pave the way for public acceptance of gross violations of the constitutional separation of church and state. …” What?!

There IS NO CONSTITUTIONAL “SEPARATION”. It exists in the Soviet Union’s documents for government - not in America’s; which is why the Founders included in the founding documents references to our Creator.

Sheesh; this is getting worse practically by the MOMENT.

Buddy Greene in Chicago

Filed under: Faith in God , General , Music, Books, Film @ 7:46 am

Saw Buddy Greene last night at ParkView Church (Orland Park) on the South Side. It was amazing; it was to benefit Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery is a ministry that is very interesting, that goes by the 12 steps, but claims Christ.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered
12-step recovery program based on eight principles from the Beatitudes.

The mission of Parkview Christian Church’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives.

This occurs through study, action and commitment to Jesus Christ as we understand the eight recovery principles (based on the Beatitudes in Matthew) and the 12 steps with their Biblical comparisons.

As we apply these principles to our lives, we begin to grow spiritually and become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.

This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ, who is the one and only true Higher Power.

A more powerful program than the secular one.

TWELVE STEPS AND THEIR BIBLICAL COMPARISONS

1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behavior, that our lives had become unmanageable. “I know that nothing good lives in me, that is; in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.” Romans 7:18

2. We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. “For it is God who is at work in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” Philippians 2:13

3. We made a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1

4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. “Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.” Lamentations 3:40

5. We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being, the exact nature of our wrongs.” Therefore, confess your sins to each other, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed.” James 5:16a

6. We are entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10

7. We humbly asked Him to remove all our shortcomings. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

8. We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

9. We made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24

10. We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you do not fall.” 1 Corinthians 10:12

11. We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.” Colossians 3:16a

12. Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs. “Brothers, if some one is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you may also be tempted.” Galatians 6:1

PRAYER FOR SERENITY

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is; not as I would have it; Trusting that you will make all things right if I surrender to your will; So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with you forever in the next. AMEN
