Obama says he has no records from his eight years in the state Senate. He claims he didn’t have resources available to keep them…

RALEIGH, N.C. - Barack Obama, who’s been scolding Hillary Rodham Clinton for not hastening the release of records from her time as first lady, says he can’t step up and produce his own records from his days in the Illinois state Senate — he says he hasn’t got any.

“I don’t have — I don’t maintain — a file of eight years of work in the state Senate because I didn’t have the resources available to maintain those kinds of records,” he said at a recent campaign stop in Iowa. He said he wasn’t sure where any cache of records might have gone, adding, “It could have been thrown out. I haven’t been in the state Senate now for quite some time.”

Edwards, Obama vie for anti-Klinton vote

By Marcella Bombardieri - Boston Globe Staff / November 12, 2007

The campaigns of Barack Obama and John Edwards have cut a deal to not attack each other anymore and only focus on Hillary.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Only a half hour after an impassioned John Edwards made his pitch to a standing-room-only crowd squeezed into a community college function room, a cheerful Barack Obama took the microphone amid a sea of voters on a middle school basketball court.

Obama - Raise Social Security taxes

Obama is proposing raising payroll contributions on Social Security. GOP screaming “Obama wants to raise your taxes11″ in 3 - 2 - 1…*poof*…

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Barack Obama said Sunday that if elected he will push to increase the amount of income that currently is taxed to provide monthly Social Security benefits.

Obama and other Democratic presidential candidates previously have signaled support for this idea.

Currently, only the first $97,500 of a person’s annual income is taxed. The amount is scheduled to rise to $102,000 next year.

Obama’s proposal could include a gap or “doughnut hole” to shield middle-income earners from paying more in taxes, he said.

As debate nears, rivals directing their aim at Bill-ary Kluck

By CHRISTINE HAUSER CONCORD, NH, Oct. 29

barack-obama-attacks-hillary-clinton-democrat.jpg

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton came under pointed attack Monday by her two main rivals for the Democratic nomination, who said she was not being direct on Social Security and also suggested she was too cozy …

The rivals, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois and former Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, in campaign appearances in Iowa and here, took on Mrs. Clinton by name, escalating their attacks on her a day before they were to share a stage at the Democratic debate in Philadelphia.

Mr. Obama, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, said Mrs. Clinton had evaded a direct answer on the politically delicate question of how to strengthen Social Security.

“You might remember this came up at the last presidential debate,” Mr. Obama said. “And when Senator Clinton was asked about it, she wouldn’t say what she thinks we should do. And the other day, here in Iowa, she skipped another chance to give a direct answer on this.”

She’s not alone in ducking the issue, of course

Barack Obama speaks out on Gays; Lesbians; African-Americans

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A Grammy-winning singer whose role in a Barack Obama campaign event riled gay activists served as master of ceremonies of a gospel concert promoting the Democratic presidential hopeful Sunday night.

Barack Obama is defending himself amongst the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) community. Obama has to choose between keeping his gospel singer and oppose Gays or ditching the singer and angering Black Christians.

Obama did not attend the event, but in a video played for more than 2,000 at the Township Auditorium he called the evening’s acts “inspirational talent” that were among his favorites.

Barack Obama joins John Edwards in Hillary Clinton slam

Filed under: Demonrats , General , Hitlery , Keyes/Obama , Obama , moonbat hysteria @ 9:57 am

By Jeff Zeleny - October 12, 2007

Barack Obama and John Edwards accused front-runner Hillary Clinton on Friday of flip-flopping on whether she would meet with leaders of hostile nations without preconditions.

Senator Barack Obama delivered a speech on the Iraq war today in Des Moines. There were a handful of new words in his address, including these two — Hillary Clinton.

For the past 10 days, Mr. Obama has been persistently working to mark the fifth anniversary of the Congressional vote authorizing the Iraq war. The point, of course, is that he, as a soon-to-be-announced candidate for the U.S. Senate, opposed the war from the beginning, while several of his rivals in the Democratic presidential race did not.

“Now, some have asked me, ‘Why are you always reminding us that you opposed the war? Isn’t that yesterday’s news? Is that experience really relevant?’” Mr. Obama said, speaking to an audience at Drake University. “And what I always say is this – this isn’t just about the past, it’s about the future. I don’t talk about my opposition to the war to say ‘I told you so.’ I wish the war had gone differently.

“But the reason I talk about it is because I truly believe that the judgment, and the conviction, and the accountability that each of us showed on the most important foreign policy decision of our lives is the best indicator you have of how each of us will make those decisions going forward.”

This is one ignorant, stupid Democrapper S.O.B.!

[ EDIT ] Were you born naturally stupid Moron, or do you have to work at it everyday???

You’re full of $hit by saying you’ll “keep the city in mind every day” — that’s soooo typical of you ignorant; lying Demo$hitter’s just to get Black votes!!!

The Dumba$$e$ in New Orleans were warned days ahead of the storm, to get their stupid a$$ out of the city and harm’s way — then, they had the gall to blame it on Bush and the Gov’t. — which proves just how ignorant you people really are!!!

NEW ORLEANS - Democrat Barack Obama said Sunday the country cannot fail New Orleans again and that as president, he would keep the city in mind every day.

“The words never again cannot be another empty phrase,” he said in front of one of the few rebuilt houses he saw on a brief tour of the city’s Gentilly Woods section. “It cannot become another broken promise.”

Obama is the first of several presidential candidates from both parties who are set to visit New Orleans in connection with the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina on Wednesday. President Bush also is expected to mark the occasion with a trip to the Gulf Coast.

Obama, whose day began at First Emanuel Baptist Church, said that long before Katrina, the nation had failed to lift up New Orleans, a city with persistent struggles such as poverty and poor public schools. He said that cannot happen again and that Americans have a “collective responsibility” to each other.

“Racial discord, poverty, the old divisions of black and white, rich and poor, it’s time to leave that to yesterday,” he said.

“In rebuilding, we’ve got an opportunity to do more than put up a foundation that for too long failed the people of New Orleans,” he told congregants. Some snapped photos of him at the pulpit with their cell phones.

“In rebuilding, we’ve got an opportunity to build something better, a foundation that can put up with a lot, upon which the children of New Orleans can build their dreams.”

Progress since Katrina has been slow, mired in bureaucracy and marred by fingerpointing among federal, state and local officials. Some small businesses are struggling, houses remain empty in vast sections of the city and people are frustrated.

From several residents, Obama heard about poor infrastructure and the slow pace of home rebuilding grants. He walked past empty lots overgrown with weeds rising above his head and saw Federal Emergency Management Agency trailers and signs advertising services such as mold remediation.

“I just feel like we’ve been forgotten about,” resident JoAnn Fleming Bradley told him.

The Illinois senator criticized Bush for what he said was a lack of urgency in rebuilding the city. “I can promise you this: I will be a president who wakes up every morning and goes to bed every night with the future of this city on my mind,” Obama said.

Florida Demon-Rats to lose votes for Presidential Nominee if they don’t vote later

By NEDRA PICKLER Associated Press Writer - WASHINGTON Aug 25, 2007

Florida Democrats could lose their votes for the presidential nominee next year unless they change plans to hold their primary earlier than national party rules allow.

[ EDIT ] Sooooo — what’s the matter with that?

The Democratic National Committee’s Rules and Bylaws Committee was poised Saturday to vote against Florida’s plans for a Jan. 29 primary and to strip the state of delegate votes at the national convention in Denver next year, several party officials said.

With other states rushing to set early nominating contests, Florida offers the first test of the DNC’s resolve to restore order to the schedule it set last year. Michigan and New Hampshire also are considering moving up their voting, in violation of the party rules.

Several party officials said they want to take a tough stand against Florida and send a message to other states. The shifting dates have added some uncertainty to the presidential candidates’ campaign plans with the first votes to be cast in less than five months.

Advisers to Bill-ary Kluck, who has a wide lead in Florida polls, said she will go wherever elections are held. But the DNC has threatened to penalize candidates who campaign in states that violate the rules.

Other candidates are waiting to see how the dispute shakes out. Barack Obama’s schedule had him raising money in Florida on Saturday, but his campaign said the Illinois senator might not return often during the primary season.

ABC News Carries The Story

And, there’s now even more to this disgusting news –

What a bunch of frigging Slime-Ball Cry-Babies — most Americans would consider this as downright CHEATING!

Florida Demon-rats are once again crying disenfranchisement — this time pointing the finger at the Democratic National Committee. Party officials are set to vote today on whether to punish the Sunshine State for moving its primary up too far, to Jan. 29. The D.N.C. could eliminate all of the state party’s delegates to the national nominating convention in 2008 and bar candidates from campaigning there before the primary.

Clinton, Obama fend off criticisms in debate

DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama worked to counter suggestions that he is too inexperienced for the White House while Sen. Hillary Clinton fended off attacks from President Bush’s outgoing political adviser Karl Rove that voters perceive her too negatively in a debate Sunday in the critical showdown state of Iowa.

“Is Barack Obama ready to be president, experienced enough to be president?” moderator George Stephanopoulos asked, presenting the first question of the debate hosted by ABC’s “This Week” in Des Moines, Iowa — the first state in the nation to choose party nominees.

Clinton was asked about criticisms from outgoing White House political adviser Karl Rove that her negative ratings could hurt her in a general election. Video Watch what Rove had to say about Clinton »

The eight Democrats generally avoided outright attacks on each other, though they took the opportunity to note disagreements, particularly on issues of foreign policy.

The question about Obama triggered a renewed discussion of his vow, made during a previous debate, that he would meet with dictators — without preconditions — during his first year in office. Clinton and others have said that such a commitment would remove a critical bargaining chip in dealing with problematic foreign governments.

Clinton answered the question Sunday by discussing her own campaign goals and experience — though, when pressed, noted that she did have a “specific disagreement” with Obama on that front.

“I think the next president will face some of the most difficult international dangerous threats and challenges that any president has faced in a very long time,” she said.

The senator from New York added, “When you’ve got that big an agenda facing you, you should not telegraph to our adversaries that you’re willing to meet with them without preconditions during the first year in office.”

Obama: Soldiers’ lives ‘wasted’ on a war that shouldn’t be

How sad is that; Obama is declaring exactly who he’s siding with on the war; alongside the likes of the marxists of Code Pink, communist international ANSWER, Castro loving Leslie Cagan’s United for Peace and Justice, and the revolutionary communist party which carries signs like ‘the world can’t wait, drive out the Bush regime’.

This is worse than Kerry; at least Kerry was pretending to appeal to soldiers with that half-assed salute saying he was reporting for doody; Obama has the audacity to just come out and say the stuff that Kerry and Clinton are careful not to say in public.

Obama and his PR people apparently think that Americans are really dumb.

Axelrod paved the way for Obama

There was a question that came up yesterday about Blair Hull’s difficulties here in Illinois, and what in the heck precipitated it? We all have our theories, right? What I’m looking for is some kind of documentation to attest to the facts in this; bearing in mind that Obama’s chief media advisor at the time was David Axelrod, who was an advisor to the Clinton campaign. Axelrod, in fact, railed against the politics of personal destruction in the 1990s, and was also once a columnist for the Tribune and an advisor to Mayor Daley. Lynn Sweet at the Sun Times shows us Obama’s 2008 Whitehouse team, and at the top of the list is:

David Axelrod, media strategist. Founder of Chicago-based AKP Media. Handled Obama’s 2004 Senate race. “A” client list: consults for Mayor Daley, Rep. Rahm Emanuel.

According to CBS Radio, he’s even more accomplished than that:

David Axelrod, Chicago-based Democratic Media Advisor/Strategist for U.S. Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and presidential campaign for Senator John Edwards.

It just seems to be too great of a coincidence that Obama, who wasn’t backed by the kind of money Ryan and Hull had, ended up benefiting from the misery of two men who appeared to have been set up; one a democrat, the other a republican. Still, if you look at it from one viewpoint, they both could have been considered his political rivals. I have often voiced deep concerns about George Soros’ candidates which include Hillary, Kerry and Obama. But it’s not like we haven’t been aware of setups for scandal before.

There was a campaign the gay activists were putting together in order to crucify republicans in sex scandals, and we saw evidence of that with list that David Corn obtained in Washington regarding the Foley incident.

The scale was tipped on purpose.

In this piece from 2004, when I was about a week-old as a blogger and was still on blogspot, I wasn’t familiar with citing work, and using the blockquotes, and hadn’t mastered blogging 101 yet. Here’s the passage that prompted the inquiry:

…..the Tribune finally admitted that it was Axelrod and the Obama campaign that brought pressure on the press to demand the unsealing of M. Blair Hull divorce records, which had had their contents leaked to media outlets by the Obama campaign even earlier. The Obama campaign also helped orchestrate a demonstration by women’s groups demanding Hull’s withdrawal from the race. Coincidentally, this was the same weekend Obama’s first commercials hit the airwaves. Interestingly (or maybe not), the same exact thing happened to another of his rivals–Jack Ryan. Certainly gives one pause.

Certainly does. It was WLS-Channel 7 TV and the Chicago Tribune that filed suit to open Hull’s sealed divorce records. To be fair, the Chicago Tribune exposed Jack Ryan’s past, too, so this was a case of bipartisan snooping. Brent Bozell at the Media Research Center is right, though; journalists don’t cover liberal political scandals in quite the same way as conservative ones.

There’s not a whole lot else to say about this except that we’re looking for validation and citing beyond this blog; from the Tribune itself or some other source, into the veracity of that claim. I don’t recall how I stumbled upon that, and I’m sure that a lot of bloggers can relate to surfing the web, and not saving something into favorites, and ending up somewhere, not being able to retrace your steps.

From the Chicago Tribune:

In the Democratic primary, Obama found himself the overwhelming beneficiary when the campaign of former securities trader Blair Hull crashed in the aftermath of Hull’s release of court files from a messy divorce. Though Obama has been a passive beneficiary of Ryan’s latest problems, the Democrat’s campaign worked aggressively behind the scenes to fuel controversy about Hull’s filings.

Zenpundit:

Memogate is an aberration you say ? Did not Clarence Page’s own Chicago Tribune and local Chicago newsman Chuck Goudie give unusually heavy coverage of the divorce records of Democrat Blair Hull and Republican Jack Ryan to the benefit of a previously invisible, underfunded, candidate with the slenderest of legistative records, named Barack Obama? Was it accidental or a coincidence that the two opponents with the financial resources to bury Mr. Obama in the primary or general elections were relentlessly hammered on ” scandals” by the Trib while the same paper ran multipage ” puff ” pieces on Saint Obama ? If we searched the email database and phone records of senior editors at the Tribune how many messages would we find from the staff of David Axelrod ? Who happened to slip Chuck Goudie an ( allegedly) anonymous letter detailing Mr. Ryan’s many year old attempt to bring the then Mrs. Jerri Ryan to a sex club ? Did these two men do anything to deserve having their careers destroyed by a local media that had placed themselves so obviously in Mr. Obama’s corner that no Illinois politician dared to step into Mr. Ryan’s shoes ?

If the rest of the mainstream media does not come out front and center with strong ethics policies mandating nonpartisanship ( outside of the op-ed. page) they will find the public regarding the CBS fiasco as merely the tip of a liberal iceberg.

If you have any further information that can shed more light on the Tribune’s admission that Axelrod put pressure to open Blair Hull’s divorce records, you can email me at caoilfhionn1 at gmail dot com.

incoherent ramblings of a leftist

I just love when I get incoherent ramblings from leftists. This idiot sends me a practically incoherent email opening with this:

Are you working for the anti-people league…. against Obama??

What you really mean is do I oppose the big government, tax and spend liberals? Why, yes, I do. And is Obama a part of that? Well most certainly he is, when you look at his voting record. And that somehow gives you headache? I’m sorry, maybe you shouldn’t read my website, then. From CNS:

“He’s more of a socialist than he is even a Democrat,” said a critic, Cathy Santos, co-founder of the Chicago-based Republican Young Professionals. “A lot of his policies have the government taking care of people. Instead of giving people a leg up, he would rather give them a leg.”

Soros initially was attracted to Obama because of his vision on education and health care, Vachon said. But Santos said if Obama got his way, the U.S. health care system would be worse than what Clinton proposed after her husband was elected president. She also said voters should be wary of Obama’s “any time, anywhere” stance on abortion.

I don’t know what ‘anti-people league’ means, but the term strikes me funny. Isn’t it the environmentalists who lobby for the environment over ‘people’ concerns? Didn’t “Silent Spring” bring on the anti-DDT revolution which has now brought about millions of deaths in third world countries due to preventable malaria from mosquitos?

Capitalism Magazine quotes just a few statistics in this article, Silent Spring: RIP 2004:

According to the World Health Organization, worldwide malaria infects 300 million people. About 1 million die of malaria each year. Most of the victims are in Africa, and most are children.

The malaria-ridden mosquitos of yesteryear wouldn’t exist today, and millions of people including children wouldn’t be dying of it if it weren’t for the environmentalists who campaigned against the use of DDT for the sake of ‘the environment’. So it’s a natural conclusion that the ‘green’ environmentalists are the ‘anti-people league’.

No, I don’t support the ‘power to the people’ movement, because time has proven that it has no merit. You empower people not by enslaving them under government bureacracy, but by lessening the size of government and giving them more personal freedom and personal responsibility. Our founders clearly understood this concept. Increasing the number of regulations that intrude on so many areas of our lives doesn’t empower anyone.

Our founders were completely aware of what could happen, they read history and took note of the demise of previous republics. From The

Founding Fathers & the Classics, by Dr. Joe Wolverton II

They heeded the warnings about power elites who used corruption, intrigue, and personal immorality to neutralize public concern and dampen zeal for the protection of liberty. From the 18th to the 21st century, it would seem, times have changed very little.

James Madison insightfully noted that most of the tyrants of history masqueraded as democrats, and over time, revealed themselves to be power hungry dictators and shameless demagogues. Alexander Hamilton, an astute student of classical history, devoted his first contribution to the Federalist Papers to a writing against tyrants of “men who have over-turned the liberties of republics, commencing as demagoguges and ending as tyrants.”

I don’t ‘work’ for anyone but myself and my family. But here at CB, I just expose liberal hypocrisy in word and deed, and share and proselytize conservative values (and the meaning of proselytize here is ‘espousing one’s doctrine’ not necessary ‘recruit’ or ‘convert’). But yes, you have the ‘giste’ of what it is I do; I do not support Obama, never have, and never will, unless he suddenly sees the light and starts to NOT support environmental issues, national health care and the rest of the socialist crap that the others in George Soros’ group seem to come out in favor of. I don’t support any of George Soros’ hand-picked handful of candidates; Kerry, Obama, Howard Dean, Tom Daschle, Patrick Leahy, Barbara Boxer, or Hillary Clinton, and for a number of reasons. Hillary and Kerry, to my knowledge, have not welcomed and been proud of Soros’ support, perhaps understanding that some people have an incling as to what that man is all about. Obama, however, is oblivious, in that he actually COVETS George Soros’ support. Most Democrats endorsed by Soros, like Kerry, haven’t actually met him. Obama is different because of his willingness to embrace Soros in the open. After Soros made a comparison between the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Obama joined Soros at his home for a New York fund-raiser.

Obama is one of only a handful of candidates to get a personal contribution from George Soros. The others include Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.), Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), Bob Graham (D-Fla.), John Kerry (D-Mass.), Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), U.S. Rep. Tom Lantos, and former Vermont governor Howard Dean

Think carefully about where those people have stood on issues, and compare them with the rhetoric coming from the Rosenbergs’ son. Or of their granddaughter, Rachel Meeropol. You remember Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, don’t you? And the Verona Cables? If not, you have some catching up to do.

The leftist makes this odd little taunt in the email:

I see that you have begun the communist scare, cry…. cry like a baby… cry ..”look a communist coming…. run, run..” with a back in times melody

If people like Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, and George Galloway weren’t out there admitting what their political affiliations are, (Galloway is a Brit, a card carrying member of the Revolutionary Russian Communist Party, who travelled across the US with Jane Fonda talking against the war, was Saddam Hussein’s buddy, and benefitted financially from the Oil For Food Program and in other ways from Saddam’s Iraq) their position on the conflict in the Middle East is identical with the World Worker’s Party, the Revolutionary Communist Party, Marxists, Leninists, Stalinists and Maoists. This is something that doesn’t go unnoticed by Osama Bin Laden, who has said that the goals of the socialists are the same as the goals of the terrorist mujahideen in their quest of destroying western values and the western way of life.

Perhaps it wouldn’t be so glaringly obvious to those of us who oppose communism and are paying attention to history and the testimonies of people like Reverend Wurmbrand and his wife who were imprisoned and tortured by communists. I’m sorry, but I think it’s terribly and vitally important to fight that ideology that would have us killed for what we believe. Soon, I see that we will be forced to sneak around to worship God, and that we will soon be arrested, as people were in the Soviet Union, Romania and other countries, for worship, Bible study, or reading the Bible in public. Americans are like frogs in the frying pan, with organizations and individuals alike working to turn the heat of the fire up. Card carrying members of the CFR feed us propaganda portrayed as news, Hillary Clinton and her husband are fawned over by the media when they demonize the military and belittle the mission in Iraq, not unlike Cindy Sheehan and the marxists of Code Pink.

democrats-crybaby.jpg

Nobody is ‘crying’, I’m just pointing it out. It’s leftists who seem to consistently cry and make themselves out to be victims; and then portray the government as the entity that will save them. What I don’t understand is why people object to my talking about these things so much; to me, they are simple matters of historical record and fact. The democrats have long been allies with the communists, Engels and Marx actually made mention of that fact. Ever hear of the Verona (aka Venona) Cables which proved that McCarthy was right?

Here are two names that should either jog your memory or wake you up: Robert Hansson, the FBI agent turned Soviet spy, and Aldridge Aimes, the CIA man serving a life term because he was revealed and proven a Soviet spy.

You’re either supporting what the enemies within are doing, or you’re completely oblivious, which makes you really dangerous, in my estimation. Plus, your need to go after me in email with these immature little taunts! What ever happened to ‘agreeing to disagree’? In the world of the leftist, the rightist should not speak!

My little whiney leftist continues in the email:

This morning Hillary Clinton, said she is in ( the white house race ) ..to win..

What are you going to cry about NOW … cry baby.. ?

Are you going to try to scare me with …. Hillary, dracula stories??

Unless America is brain dead, I sincerely doubt that people will vote to have the return of a Clinton Whitehouse. I talked about the Clintons’ cowardly history here and more specifically Hillary’s in this paragraph:

Young lawyer and college student Hillary Rodham Clinton marched against the warin Boston, pledged her support to the Black Panthers, and aligned herself with the Communist movement through her work with radical leftists like Robert Treuhaft, a former lawyer for the Communist party; his wife, writer Jessica Mitford; and Robert Borosage of the Institute for policy studies, which supported Communist-backed groups in Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

No, we don’t need to ’scare’ anyone, all we actually need to do is read the first hand accounts of people who worked in the Clinton Whitehouse. There’s Buzz Patterson, who wrote one incredible book about it; Reckless Disregard: How Liberal Democrats Undercut Our Military, Endanger Our Soldiers, and Jeopardize Our Security (Hardcover), and another about his experience with the Clintons, Dereliction of Duty: The Eyewitness Account of How Bill Clinton Endangered America’s Long-Term National Security . There is a ton of material out there about how scarey Hillary is, and we don’t need to consult fiction to do it; we just need to read the experiences of people who worked in the Clinton Whitehouse, and have harrowing stories to tell about the Clintons from personal experience.

Barbara Olson, The Final Days: The Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House (Hardcover) . That one is particularly chilling since 9/11 happened as a result of the wall that the Clinton administration constructed between the agencies that prevented them from sharing information about the hijackers.

People like Peggy Noonan, who wrote “The Case Against Hillary Clinton”, or watch ‘the path to 9/11′. A sentient thinking person would be wrong to ignore the fact that the path to 9/11 was paved in large part by the Clinton Administration. And that fact in itself makes me wonder what planet people are on when they support Hillary’s candidacy for the Oval Office. If you stopped to read Jayna Davis‘ book “The Third Terrorist”, about the OK City Bombing and the Clinton administration’s coverup of the Iraqis who were involved in it, I don’t think the American people would consciously vote for that kind of irresponsible leadership. If the OK City Bombing trials of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols had been run properly, and the agencies allowed to come forward with the evidence of the members of Saddam’s mukharabat that ran back to Iraq afterwards; we may have never watched the horror of those people jumping out of the flaming towers in New York.

A vote for Hillary would undoubtedly invite even more government bureacracy and mishandling of our money, lead to more horrible terrorist led disasters to happen right here on our own soil, and a disastrous national health care which will lead to a bankrupt system along the lines of Cuba’s. Nobody’s crying for the Cubans, but most people don’t realize they won’t end up like Castro, benefitting from health care that no one else is able to obtain there.

I will never give up fighting against the ideology that would result in the murders of millions, poverty for most, and elitists fighting and killing each other over who will be the next powermonger.

So it is with a nod to the past and to the brave and noble men who lost their lives in the cause for liberty that I continue to carry the torch for truth, but I will not apologize for it.

If big government overregulating every little aspect of human behavior is so great, then why is South Korea more prosperous than North Korea, (where millions starved to death in the ’90’s), why was West Germany more prosperous than East Germany, why is Taiwan more prosperous than China, and why is the U.S. still thriving while the Soviet Union lies on the trash heap of history?

“When young men seek to be like you, when lazy men resent you, when powerful men look over their shoulder at you, when cowardly men plot behind your back, when corrupt men wish you were gone and evil men want you dead. Only then will you have done your share.” -Phil Messina

Well, I guess I’ve done my share, but guess what? I’m not going to stop. And when I get emails and trolling comments, and letters to my employer, and photoshopped images of personal photographs, it just spurs me on!

Obamamania

Rick Moran has a great post up today about Obamamania. Back when he was running against Alan Keyes, it seemed to me that Keyes was the absolute right man for the job; but I guess I did not take into account that Obama is one of a handful of hand-picked Soros-backed leftists (Hillary and Kerry are two more), and Illinois has drifted even further left than it already was back when I was young and the current Richard Daley’s father was running the Chicago political machine. Hillary has distanced herself from that reference, while Obama is clueless enough to embrace the fact that he’s been to Soros’ house for fun-filled fundraising. You can see the fawning media play him as another Superman or Captain America; and I have had discussions with leftists who are extremely impressed with his recent book. Obama, like Cindy Sheehan, has received an inordinate amount of adoring coverage by the media.

Obama is so extreme, I cannot believe that Americans do not recognize it. He was rated 100% by the Sierra Club for his environmental issues stand, “F”, by the National Rifle Association, and *5 rating by the American Conservative Union. He voted “yes” on stem cell research, Yes to pulling the troops out of Iraq, Yes for amnesty for Illegals, yes for the patriot act, no to confirm Samuel A. Alito, No to federal budget cut, Yes to ban cruel or degrading treatment for terrorists, No to confirm John G. Roberts for the Supreme Court, No confirm John Bolton. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but it is a good thing that his key votes in the Senate are on record.

Obama has claimed that his popularity is due to Americans looking for “something different”. His “something different” is actually something that we have seen in socialist countries; more higher education loans, policies to address global warming, universal health care, etc.

The last senator who successfully ran for president was John F. Kennedy in 1960, but Kennedy could be a republican in todays world. Except for one thing:

Obama who filed papers this week creating an exploratory committee to seek the 2008 Democratic nomination may also find himself fielding questions about his actions outside public office, from his acknowledgment of cocaine use in his youth to a more recent land purchase from a political supporter who is facing charges in an unrelated kickback scheme involving investment firms seeking state business.

If the media and his campaign people can distance the public’s memory from Obama’s association with Rezko, that will be a step in the right direction, because his illicit land deal, had it been a republican, would have had him tarred and feathered and walking down the same road as Jack Ryan.

Meanwhile, Rick points out what all hollywood watchers and starstruck Obamamaniacs need to stop and think about:

Obama is not an everyman. He is an “anyman” – he’s anything you want him to be. Until he defines himself, he risks having his political opponents do it for him. And that’s an opportunity that Team Hillary is salivating for.

Emancipation Revelation Revolution

Part I. Also mentioned at Hot Air here.

This film was screened at the Liberty Film Festival last year and is scheduled for release next February. This film traces the roots of the GOP and black authors and activists challenging the establishment. Racial discrimination has been replaced by ideology. Beyond the misconception of victimization, this film reveals many of the facts that leftists don’t want us to remember or discover. Find out more at ERRvideo.com

While you’re at it, check out the clips at youtube, the first of which is featured above.

We saw a hint of these opposing ideologies here in Illinois with the recent campaigns of Barack Obama and Allan Keyes. It is not a case of black victimization anymore, it’s a case of morality and the decline of traditional moral values.

Keyes Debate With the Obamanation

In a banquet room full of “keyed up” Keyes volunteers in the Chicago Renaissance Hotel, adjacent to the broadcast studios where Debate #2 was televised, the evidence on the big screen was overwhelming — with question after question, Alan’s substantive responses dominated the hour, and thrilled those watching. Alan was concise, sharp, and courageous in his presentation of our core convictions. He was also totally disciplined in his delivery, even in the face of some of the most biased, personally derogatory, dishonest, and distorted “questioning” that Alan has endured by the mainstream media in what has been a notably vicious and hostile media environment.

Alan stayed on message, took every opportunity possible to contrast his agenda with Obama’s, he was very well modulated for cool television projection, and he drove home with devastating effectiveness the duplicity of his opponent’s campaign rhetoric as compared to Obama’s record. You can hear and see the debate online at www.keyes2004.com – but PLEASE be sure to click here and help us get the message out in television and radio advertising that ALAN CAN WIN THIS ELECTION if enough people “get to know him” without the media’s distortions.

Keyes 2004 campaign manager Bill Pascoe, reacting to Alan’s clear win in Thursday night’s first televised debate against Barack Obama, released the following statement:

“The first televised debate is history, and the result is as clear as it was after last week’s radio debate: Alan Keyes won this debate hands down. He drew clear and cogent contrasts with Barack Obama on issue after issue, making one thing perfectly clear: Alan Keyes is in the mainstream of Illinois’ heartland values, and Mr. Obama is outside the mainstream.

“For instance, Alan demonstrated that Barack Obama is an extreme liberal, who cares not for protecting Illinois citizens but instead for protecting entrenched political interests.

“Keyes exposed Barack Obama as to the left of the ACLU on issues like crime control during a vigorous discussion of Obama’s votes in the State Senate against the death penalty for gang bangers who kill police officers; against allowing police to enter fortified drug houses without knocking; and against allowing Illinois citizens to defend themselves and their families from an intruder in their own home.

“Keyes also blew a hole in Obama’s erstwhile ‘doing it for the children’ rhetoric when he questioned Obama about his vote for ‘age appropriate’ sex education in public schools starting with kindergartners and his vote against Internet filters on publicly accessible computers in our schools.

“While emphasizing his independence and willingness to speak the truth regardless of partisan political considerations, Keyes distinguished himself from Obama as he reminded the viewing audience that Obama was the number one recipient of trial lawyer campaign money in the nation. Keyes properly questioned Obama’s allegiance to this special interest group at a time when the Illinois health care system has been described as ‘in crisis’ by the American Medical Association (AMA), due to skyrocketing medical malpractice insurance rates that are driving medical professionals from Illinois in droves.

“Later in the debate, a visibly angry Obama lashed out after being challenged by Keyes on the contradictions between Obama’s professed faith and his extreme liberal positions in support of unregulated abortion-on-demand and in opposition to defense of traditional marriage.

“So shaken was Obama by the end of the debate that he incorrectly accused Keyes of challenging Obama’s heritage on a final question about the importance of race in this campaign-a charge Keyes never made.

“It was obvious that Obama had little to offer in defense of his record, his positions on the issues, and the reasoning behind them except canned talking points prepared by handlers from the very Chicago machine of which he claims to be independent.”

Reporters in Chicago seem stunned that Alan continues to “just tell the truth” and trust the voters to listen to their own conscience and convictions. He refuses to play “fool the voter” with all the other guys who run the political/media industry nexus in the Windy City, even while they will keep working to make this campaign an anointment for their “BaRack Star.”

But Alan is laying the groundwork for the Illinois GOP to lift itself out of unprincipled corruption and compromise — and become again a party worthy of legacy of Abraham Lincoln. We have planted the flag again for moral conservatives in Illinois — please rally to us with your generous donations by going here to help.

Alan and his U.S. Senate campaign can win if we can expand our last 10-day ad blitz! Click here and let us broaden our advertising strategy with a donation online TODAY! There is still time to combat the Democrat machine of Cook County, but Illinois is the third most-expensive media market in the country — and the costs of campaigning here have greatly contributed to the big money influence peddling that has tainted BOTH political parties in the state.

Illinois deserves better than Barack Obama — it needs integrity, reform, and honest competition restored in its politics. Please join with us at Keyes 2004 as we do all in our power — with Alan — to answer the call.

Keep the Faith.

The Daily Obamanation

Job Killing Tax Increaser. Special Interest Lobbyist. Promotes Sex Education to kindergartners. Wants to warn criminals when the cops are coming but keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. Accepts money from all the liberal groups and is a patsy for George Soros.

Obama is an obamanation…and he should not get the Senate seat in Illinois. His kind of government will see the end of traditional values as we know them, and we won’t be free to preach the bible or our belief systems anymore, our childrens’ education, religion (or lack thereof) and values will be state-issued. I don’t want my family run by the state.

We’ll see if I can find dirt on this guy every day until the election. Any guy who’s in the elite group of George Soros candidates is WRONG for the job in my book~but when I look closer at the issues, I can’t believe we have someone in office who is this extreme. We need him OUT.

Truth Squad Exposes Obama’s Record

Cao’s note: It’s about time….

By The Leader-Chicago Bureau

CHICAGO - Moveon.org and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have made the term “527″ well-known in the political lexicon of the 2004 election season.

Now, one 527, or independent expenditure organization, in Illinois is seeking to make waves in the Senate race in the same fashion that other such groups have impacted the Presidential contest.

The group, Empower Illinois, has launched a new website, http://www.truthaboutobama.org/.

Beginning Tuesday, Empower Illinois is also a running a series of television and radio ads in downstate media markets that aim to highlight what they see as an underreported issue in the race to replace retiring U.S. Senator Peter Fitzgerald–namely, Democratic Senate nominee Barack Obama’s record as a State Senator.

The group’s director, Jeff Davis, said the ads, which can be viewed on the group’s website, are aimed to educate voters about Sen. Obama’s voting record so they may compare that to his rhetoric on the campaign trail. “There is a disconnect between the positions Barack Obama has taken as a State Senator and his moderate-sounding rhetoric during this Senate campaign,” said Davis. “As people listen to the debates and begin to make their decisions in this important race, we want to make sure they have all the facts.”

According to their website, Empower Illinois is “a diverse coalition of concerned citizens in the political process…dedicated to educating Illinoisan’s regarding public policy positions of candidates for federal, state and local office and mobilizing conservative voters. These activities will help provide the information that Illinoisan’s need to see through the misleading public policies and campaign themes of politicians.”

527s are tax-exempt organizations provided for in the IRS code. They are allowed to engage in uncoordinated, non-partisan political activities aimed at educating voters about a particular issue or candidate for office.
