Code Pink’s anti-military attacks on recruiters backfires

The Marine Recruitering station in Berkeley reports that since the CodePinko witches flew in on their broomsticks, recruiting has gone up.

Read about one heroic young man who not only has taken Code Pink on, but has enlisted in the military as a result of his encounters with the Code Pink Moonbats at Mel’s.

An excerpt:

On the Brian Sussman show at KSFO in San Francisco this evening, Leigh’s grandmother called to say that after his last experience with the CodePinkos in Berkeley, Leigh reaching a tipping point in his seething with anger at the anti-war filth that swarmed the streets.

Wolf is two classes short of a college degree in broadcasting, but he came to the conclusion that he must show the rest of the country that there are young men and women of his generation who are STILL enlisting in the fight against Islamists in Iraq and other parts of the world.

So, this young man set aside his own aspirations, and has now formally enlisted in the military.

anti-war people: clueless

It says “Debunking Military Lies”, but it seems as though they don’t have enough smarts to get their facts straight. It’s always been a mystery to me as to how people would willingly become anti-American communists. When I was growing up, I learned about Lenin, Stalin, and communists in general through the heartfelt testimony of Reverend Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned by the communists in Romania and withstood the most horrible torture, and emotional and physical hardships. Now I see this same mentality in the communists who blindly stand up and cheer for complaints against our government and its handling of Iraq at the Winter Soldier II Investigation, much like the old time Russians of the Soviet Union. “Communist Propaganda” was something I REALLY learned about. And it’s sad, really, that we have to battle people of that ideological stripe who are working from within to destroy us for the idea of a utopia that will never be, as history has clearly illustrated for us.

In this post, Chicken Hawks and Critics in the Blogosphere they confuse Jonn Lilya from “This Ain’t Hell but you can see it from here” and Robin at “Chickenhawk Express.”…characterizing the articles written at Robin’s as the same as those written at Jonn’s.

There is a difference between the two that they seem to have missed over there. One is a man, one is a woman; they are two different blogs. “This ain’t hell” is written by a guy who spent 20 years in the infantry and volunteered to go active last year, for crying out loud - he’s probably the furthest from a ‘chickenhawk’ that you can possibly get.

John responds with, Do your research, IVAW

The articles they cite in that post are from Robin’s, but the last one they throw in to illustrate their point about Jonn Lilya and the evil Chickenhawk Express is from Jonn’s. It may have escaped their watchdog eyes, but they’re not one-in-the-same. And if they’re all so concerned about those ‘critics’, why don’t they throw in Denis Keohane’s website Obiter Dictum, or the Thus Spake Ortner at the Sniper? Or Rurik at Veteran American Voices, a Vietnam Veteran? After all, TSO at the Sniper and Rurik at Veteran American Voices together with Jonn, were three bloggers who attended and covered the lies told IVAW’s Winter Soldier II Investigation, and continue to keep a watchful eye on their antics before the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

The hilarity ensues…

Code Pink: when all else fails, cast a spell

codepink_spell_4.jpg

Since it’s May day week, the international celebration of communism, Code Pink has declared every day a day for an open assault through to protest on our Marine Recruiting Center in Bezerkely.

From Catherine Moy:

The radical anti-military group, Code Pink, finally shows the world what its membership is made of: witches and crones. Seriously. This week, Code Pink is holding a series of events and street theater to get themselves some more notoriety. You’d think it would be enough that they have attacked the Marine recruiting center and traveled the world coddling dictators and handing out money to terrorists’ families. But nooooooo!!!!

The witches of Code Pink plan to gather at their usual place of harassment, the Marine Corps Recruiting Center in Berkeley, and cast some spells to chase the recruiters away. From Code Pink’s Website:

“Friday, May 9th: Witches, Crones, Sirens: perform rituals of leaving, cast a spell of peace and love over the station, rendering nil the recruiting of our youth to become fodder for this occupation of Iraq.”
I told you I wasn’t kidding.

I wonder if we might be able to come up with our OWN street theater idea…like a “Dorothy” with a bucket of water, or a King Richard, the Lionheart.

Melanie Morgan:

So. It’s gotten down to this. Anti-war activists, frustrated they can’t call off the war in Iraq, are now calling on witches to cast ’spells.’

Iraq war veteran and family assaulted by peace protesters

Read about it here at GOE.

For the second time in as many weeks, an Iraq War Veteran and his family held a Support the Troops rally across the street from the weekly “peace” protest in this college town. This week the true nature of the ‘peace’ activists was revealed for all to see. When the veteran’s 14 year old son crossed the street to videotape the protesters and their signs, the protesters became agitated and began harassing the boy. The right to record video in any public venue is long established in law and any attempt to interfere with that right is a violation of civil rights.

Seeing the escalating tension across the street, the veteran and his wife crossed over, leaving their three youngest children on the other side for safety while they went to retrieve their eldest son. Two of the female ‘peace’ protesters then attacked the veteran’s wife. When the veteran pulled one of those attackers off his wife he was jumped by four or five of the ‘peace’ people and knocked to the ground where they held him while beating him and smashing his eyeglasses.

The son pulled the remaining attacker off his mother, but the attacker managed to get in one last kick to his mother’s head with her boot. She then punched the son in his face while his mother called the police.

This all took place at a busy intersection, the mother had been knocked into the street in bumper to bumper traffic. People were visible in the windows of shops and a bar nearby. One might think someone would intervene to put a stop to the assault. One would be wrong. In a scene eerily reminiscent of the Kitty Genovese tragedy in New York, the bystanders and passers-by refused to stand up to the ‘peace’ thugs. Displaying a craven cowardice one would not have expected in middle America they would rather go on their way thankful that it was not them being assaulted. It was NOT them, today, but what about tomorrow?

Read the whole thing. Naturally, the nasty face of the REAL peace protesters is something the media would never show, but-

Last Fourth of July, in New Jersey, one of these ‘peace’ people walked up to a young veteran of the War in Iraq and Afghanistan and shot him in the heart just because he was in the military. Last month another person or persons unknown detonated an improvised explosive device at the Armed Forces Recruiting Station in Times Square. Today a veteran and his family were assaulted in plain daylight on a public street in view of dozens of people and not one lifted a hand to help. This is not the America I grew up in. This is the Amerika the ‘peace’ crowd is bringing to your town and neighborhood.

That’s why we should continue to gather in the streets and face them down–and provide peaceful means of protecting ourselves, since it seems that the police aren’t interested in doing so, and neither are other American citizens who are nearby.

Martial Bling

generalp.jpg

This has got to be one of the most stupid complaints from a leftist of all time. Naturally, it’s a complaint coming from a civilian point of view, because in general, leftists don’t know or understand military culture, and seem to be - not only afraid of what they don’t know - but have citicism, contempt and disdain for it. And they have particular disdain for General P. But what do you want from a clueless moonbatty journalist, anyway? We’ve come to EXPECT this.

Curt, TSO at the Sniper John at This Ain’t Hell and others have made comments about this LA Times article Petraeus’ ‘ribbon creep’

There he sits in elaborate Army regalia, four stars glistening on each shoulder, nine rows of colorful ribbons on his left breast, and various other medallions, brooches and patches scattered across the rest of the available real estate on his uniform. He even wears his name tag, a lone and incongruous hunk of cheap plastic in a region of pristine gilt, just in case the politicians aren’t sure who he is.

That’s a lot of martial bling, especially for an officer who hadn’t seen combat until five years ago.

Can’t you just see a person saying these words with that superior intellectual elitist sneer on their face? This is yet more evidence of how far away a leftist is from military culture.

The military has rules and regs about what you’re supposed to do with your uniform, and where awards are placed on it. You wear what you earn; there’s a specific regulation on it, in fact; AR 670-1 “Wear and Appearance of Army Uniform and Insignia”..

What is amazing to me is that someone would write an article, in effect patting himself on the back for being so intelligent; who is using pop culture as a basis for comparison to someone who has earned the Ranger tab, for example; and German jump wings. You can’t hold a candle to men who’ve served who’ve collected this sort of experience; there is nothing in the civilian world that compares to it - even in a remote way.

Badges you earn in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are also to be worn in a certain way, those are outlined in the the manuals–and I always thought it was a natural progression from childhood in scouting and earning your badges, wearing your uniform, etc.- to serving in adulthood in some military capacity.

petraeus_206954a.gif

“Bling” doesn’t exist in military culture. When you have medals, ribbons or commendations, it’s because you earned them.

Bling is civilian excessiveness- something you pick up somewhere at some high-priced store like celebrities do–ordering 16 pairs of a designer something-or-other in every color available. Our culture is so riddled with this nonsense that mothers are taking their grammar-school-age daughters to spas for a bikini wax, for microderm abrasion and to have their hair colored. And that says nothing of a culture that glorifies rape, cheapens sexuality and glorifies material THINGS.

This individual is mistaking General Petreaus and the Army for Michael Jackson and the world of theatre, rap and “bling”. There is no “bling” in military culture - it’s about duty, honor, country.

michael_jackson_19842.jpg

It’s an orderly world, where you can see at a glance exactly what someone’s rank is. And as I’ve witnessed at events, there is a pecking order, and a chain of command, that causes certain uniformed passersby on the street to salute a commanding officer.

This is evident no matter what style of dress someone is wearing - combat uniform, army green, service uniform, or dress uniform. (I don’t think you wear anything identifying your rank when you’re in your PT gear.) Here’s the tip for the idiot who wrote that article: Petraeus is required to wear his dress uniform when testifying in front of Congress…and that’s the other thing. There are a number of styles of dress, and they’re all for different utilitarian purposes.

You don’t have to be military to know this - it’s easy to look up!!!!

Haditha schlockumentary

Robin writes about the “star”, Eliot Ruiz, of this piece of trash, entitled “Battle for Haditha”, here.

She has another post on it here.

You know you’re a hit with the anti-war, anti-American, anti-military crowd when you get a review on the World Socialist website.

In that post she talks about Cpl Roel Ryan Briones, a Marine that admitted he didn’t know what happened at Haditha, but is used anyway by the film maker Nick Broomfield as a source for “facts” regarding the incident. Broomfield hopes from his website that “Battle for Haditha” will turn into a modern-day “Apocalypse Now”, a Vietnam-era anti-war movie made by Francis Ford Coppola.

But today, versus during Vietnam, the anti-war movement is facing a countermovement, since more and more Americans across the country have awakened to this frightening, vicious and destructive internal threat and are doing something about it. Move America Forward, American Legion, Patriot Guard Riders, Eagles Up, Gathering of Eagles, and a number of other pro-troop organizations have risen to the task. In addition, we have a legion of honorable military men who are pulling for a “win” in Iraq–the other unreported side of the popular anti-war media blitzes showcasing Cindy Sheehan, Code Pink, Iraq Veterans against the War and Veterans for Peace as though they’re mainstream. Vets for Freedom are now on the last leg of their “Heroes Tour” across the country, which will finish in Washington DC. It is in DC where they will encourage our leaders and lawmakers to ’stay the course, stay the mission’, until we WIN.

Lastly, we even have the Liberty Film Festival, which features movies that don’t fit the Hollywood leftist activist agenda template.

But none of that discourages the moonbats; they just find another way to put out more anti-war propaganda. Idiotaria is a depressing world where there is nothing left to live or die for; where America hating, and donning Che Guevera t-shirts, pink berets or sporting a Keffiyeh scarf is propped as “fashionable”. What they particularly relish is producing anti-war America-hating rants in a vacuum where the lies they tell aren’t questioned or held up to scrutiny in any way. If “Redacted” and films like it aren’t enough, they’ve found a real story to spin, which as Robin points out, is little more than slander against the Haditha marines and their families; and another slap in the face for everyone serving and their families.

The REAL story of Haditha and the Pendleton 8 is a despicable example of political correctness run amuck. It has involved families having to mortgage their homes in order to defend their honorable family members who had done what they were trained to do. Instead of thinking the best of our boys, it’s not only the anti-war movement who thinks the worst of them - it is our own government, and politicians who are adored and lavished with praise by the terrorist aiding and abetting Code Pink; like John Murtha.

This movie, “Battle for Haditha”, assaults the men involved in the Haditha incident with a Hollywood production aimed at making another cheap political shot at the Iraq war; at the expense of the reputations of those who are trying to rebuild their lives after having had to endure this BS-which should never have occurred in the first place. Robin points out just one of the issues that makes it despicable:

The movie was filmed prior to the completion of the first Article 32 hearing so there was no review of the facts in the cases before presenting this atrocity of a movie to the public.

But leftists don’t care about “facts”, anyway, because as we saw with the Jack Idema story, they are perfectly willing to fit the facts to their political agenda, reject those that don’t, or simply manufacture those to fit the pre-conceived storyline.

Since the Article 32 hearings (where prosecutors put a lid on access to witnesses and evidence), 7 of the 8 have seen the murder charges dropped. The only one left now, is Staff Sergeant Wuterich. But that’s after the Pendleton 8 and their families were all dragged through the mud in the press, and emotionally and financially disabled by a government that you would think should support them for doing a tough job they were not only trained for, but SENT TO DO. Our own government has dragged them through the courts with government-paid counsel on flimsy evidence produced by a questionable terrorist-affiliated journalist and terrorist sympathizing Iraqis. And they’ve had to raise their legal fees on their own.

Diplomats, politicians and anti-war lawyers should have no place in this, yet those unqualified and in many cases military-hating people in government are constructing impossible rules to make it more difficult for our success. For example, you can’t shoot first against the enemy, you have to wait until you are shot at; and you shouldn’t return fire if it will result in civilian casualties. Because terrorists camouflage themselves within the civilian population, this makes things all the more difficult. So if you survive the bullets, THEN and only THEN are you allowed to respond–and only IF there are no civilians in the area. The Rules Of Engagement also prevents firing in the direction of the sniper shots for fear of civilian casualties. Terrorists know all about the ROE:

On the day of the firefight, Rooney said, Marines came under an attack that included both gunfire and explosives. One Marine in a Humvee was killed and two more were injured, and the resulting house-to-house battle between the outnumbered 4-man Marine “fire team” and the insurgents resulted in 24 Iraqi deaths, including 15 civilians.

Testimony also showed terrorists in strongholds such as Haditha had set up bases in a school, a mosque, and a hospital to be used to attack U.S. forces, and documentation showed that one terrorist suspected in the Haditha battle was tracked by an aerial drone to another house, from which he emerged a short time later holding a baby.

U.S. troops cannot return fire not only when the target could be in the proximity of non-combatants, but also when they are not actively sporting a weapon. So the combatant becomes a noncombatant as soon as he drops his weapon!

Whatever the response to terrorist sniper fire, IEDs or RPG rockets-rest assured it will be held under the greatest scrutiny. The assumption seems to be that our guys are monsters; because after they engage the enemy, they’re interrogated by the Pentagon about torturing people and killing civilians.

If you let the dogs out to attack an intruder, you take the leashes off. The leashes should be off our guys! Hollywood elitists should know by now that anti-war propaganda doesn’t sell; people aren’t interested in watching a Hollywood America-hating depiction of our military men and women as criminals and losers who are dependent on a broken system. America still loves a WINNER. What the anti-war moonbats are responsible for is a system which every day is infused with more political correctness. This one point in itself is getting our own people killed; a system the anti-war people are intentionally trying to break.

Even though the moonbats in Berkeley are fighting a loosing battle with the Senate as federal money previously flowing to Berkeley will be cut off, military loving Americans are boycotting businesses there, Code Pink was thrown off their corner in front of Walter Reed, the Iraq Veterans against the War failed in their mission at the Winter Soldier II Investigation, anti-war movies are tanking at the box office and regular Americans are taking a stand in our streets against people like Cindy Sheehan, they aren’t deterred. Their mission is to intentionally inflict more damage on our war effort, and to that end anti-war zealots created another piece of fictional propaganda in order to make their political point, and then stamped it as a ‘documentary’; to spin the Haditha marine story to fit their agenda.

Eliot Ruiz, a native of Philadelphia, portrays Cpl. Ramirez (Staff Sgt Frank Wuterich) in this movie. He claims to have been an Iraq war veteran himself, as part of the team that rescued Shoshona Johnson, and other POWs. (Jessica Lynch was rescued on April 2.) The only problem with that is…his dates are incorrect. He claims to have been ‘preparing to rescue American POWs’ on April 14, but the rescue occurred on April 13th. Additionally, he takes an anti-war stance, and is on record as congratulating an old Quaker woman who was sent to jail for ‘protesting’ the war in Iraq.

Lillian Willoughby, a Deptford Quaker1 who will turn 90 in January, went to jail Wednesday to protest the war in Iraq. A young Marine from North Philadelphia came to speak with Willoughby. “I wanted to thank her for resisting this war,” said Lance Cpl. Elliot Ruiz, 19, who spent 5 1/2 months in Iraq before he was wounded when a car ran a checkpoint he was guarding near Tikrit, Saddam Hussein’s hometown. “It tore the back of my leg open,” said Ruiz, who had two decks of campaign ribbons, including a Purple Heart, on the chest of his blue, full dress uniform.

One has to wonder if those medals are real, and what the real story is.

It might be more instructive to find out if Ruiz is, in fact, a member of Iraq Veterans against the War, the Revolutionary Communist Party, Workers World Party, the International Socialist Organization, International ANSWER, United for Peace and Justice, or any other of these rabid and malicious socialist revolutionary “peace” or anarchist organizations. Or he could be just a ‘useful idiot’.

  1. A quick look at flyers posted on the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) website gives one a clear understanding of where these people stand. Grassroots Voices, the explicitly radical-activist wing of the AFSC, sponsored their 2002 Conference On Justice And Global Security. In addition to the slew of anti-American workshops and classes held during the conference, the event was co-sponsored by the Communist Party USA and the Communist-founded National Lawyers Guild.

Without question, the facts disprove the AFSC’s longstanding denial of a pro-Communist orientation. While not Communist in name, they espouse and endorse every plank of the Communist party platform. They hide behind the religious shield of Quakerism and non-violence. Their background in the Quaker Society of Friends provides a Divine legitimization for card-carrying Communists and their fellow travelers. The American Friends Service Committee is and has always been committed to undermining Western democracy, propping up Communist regimes and working for the total disarmament of the United States in the face of her enemies.-Gordon Lamb, (June 5, 2005) American Friends? Berkeley

The cost of being anti-military

The Cost of Being Berkeley Part II - San Francisco Chronicle:

Berkeley is finding that having its own foreign policy isn’t cheap. The city’s recent dustup with the U.S. Marine Corps has so far cost the city more than $200,000, while businesses say they’ve been slammed by related protests.

And that’s on top of the $1 million the city spends annually on domestic and foreign policy matters hatched by its 45 citizen commissions, which outnumber those in virtually every other city in America and debate everything from regime change in Iran to the plight of nonneutered dogs.

They don’t seem to understand that when you attack the military, you attack ALL OF US.

But some business owners, residents and officials say the Marines dispute, which brought international headlines and boycotts, is a perfect illustration of why Berkeley should spend less money on foreign policy and more on filling potholes.

duh. It’s high time Code Pink was put in their place…they should receive consequences for aiding and abetting the enemy in a time of war, and we should stop fooling ourselves into thinking that what they’re doing is ‘free speech’. What they’re doing isn’t ‘free’. Obviously.

:

Evan Knappenberger, a local Iraq War veteran who did the Stop Loss Tower Guard vigil last summer and started the local Iraq Veterans Against the War chapter was suspended from the group, but reinstated after four days, for making threats online against pro-war activists two weeks ago.

Knappenberger, who initially suffered an indefinite suspension, told me on the phone this morning that he had received an apology from the IVAW board for what he called their “arbitrary decision” to suspend him in the heat of the moment.

Obama supporters at anti-war rallies

Somewhere I saw a picture of an Obama campaign car driving around the block at an anti-war protest. At the time, when I saw it, I thought to myself - ‘cmon. With the ideological background of Obama, his connection to terrorism/Iraq/Rezko/Hamas, etc., there have to be quite a few Obama supporters on the anti-war radical side.’ Considering his minions on the internet and how they’ve been stalking Larry Sinclair, it only stands to reason they’d be in the streets chanting the same slogans as International ANSWER.

After looking at Zombie’s photos, my theory was confirmed.

Of course, these pictures also describe where meatbrain is coming from…I remember Rurik, an expert on Russian history, talking about how at Winter Soldier II, IVAW members and their old VVAW guards and mentors were disparaging Pelosi and the other democrats, falling short of talking ‘revolution’. Yet, anti-war demonstrators make no bones about it.

A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words…

It ain’t called moonbattery for nothing, they obviously haven’t studied history enough to know the real-life (not science fiction fantasy) ramifications of a successful socialist revolution, and overthrowing our current system.

It certainly gives a different meaning to the ‘change’ Obama and his miinions yearn for.

Winter Soldier testifiers questioned by Young America Foundation

The juste of it is this:

Question: Will you testify to these allegations under oath?

Answer: uhhh….well…mumble mumble

Conclusion: Yeah. That’s what I thought.

it’s no wonder they opposed the Iraq invasion…

Back in 2002, Democrat Senators Jim McDermott, Mike Thompson and David Bonior went on an all expenses trip to Iraq, paid for by Saddam Hussein.

The Baghdad Democrats -Stephen Hayes

AP:

Federal prosecutors say Saddam Hussein’s intelligence agency secretly financed a trip to Iraq for three U.S. lawmakers during the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion.

An indictment in Detroit accuses Muthanna Al-Hanooti of arranging for three members of Congress to travel to Iraq in October 2002 at the behest of Saddam’s regime. Prosecutors say Iraqi intelligence officials paid for the trip through an intermediary.

In exchange, Al-Hanooti allegedly received 2 million barrels of Iraqi oil.

The lawmakers are not mentioned but the dates correspond to a trip by Democratic Reps. Jim McDermott of Washington, David Bonior of Michigan and Mike Thompson of California. There was no indication the three lawmakers knew the trip was underwritten by Saddam.

HA! “There was no indication the three lawmakers knew the trip was underwritten by Saddam.” Is that so.???

Well at least we know that Saddam’s oil was put to use beyond George Galloway’s ridiculous fake charity, the Miriam Appeal…it was spread out among OTHER America-haters besides George Galloway.

These lawmakers came back from that trip to Baghdad spouting the lies of Saddam’s regime…

On October 25, McDermott received a check for $5,000 from Shakir al-Khafaji.

Debbie Schlussel points out that she’s been writing about this as far back as 2003. And that Al-Hanooti, is not only a “former chief of CAIR-Michigan” but “was indicted for acting as a spy for Saddam Hussein in America.”

To me and anyone who followed the story and read a newspaper, that isn’t news. In fact, the indictment is far too little, far too late. The indictment says that a trip taken by three Congressmen–liberal Democrats Jim McDermott, David Bonior, and Mike Thompson–to Iraq in 2002, was funded by Saddam Hussein, using a third party to arrange the financing, and Al-Hanooti to put the trip together. Again, not news, since I wrote about it repeatedly on this site and also in The New York Post as far back as 2003.

Back to McDermott’s $5,000 gift for his ‘legal expense trust’ from Al-Hanooti:

The money, first reported by Amy Keller in Roll Call, had been deposited in an account for the McDermott Legal Expense Trust, a fund the congressman set up to pay legal bills in a lawsuit brought against him by Rep. John Boehner. (In 1996, McDermott had released to the media the transcript of a phone conversation between Boehner and Newt Gingrich, taped by a Florida couple.)

No one has accused McDermott of being a mouthpiece for Saddam Hussein simply for financial reasons.

I don’t know why not…

Indeed, McDermott has been saying stupid things for years with no evidence anyone has paid him to do so. A spokesman for McDermott says he “doesn’t know off the top of [his] head” whether McDermott has plans to return the money.

Riiiight. In other words, another possible explanation is …he’s a ‘useful idiot’…and like Barack Obama, was very willing to take money from extremists associated with Saddam’s Iraq..which seems to be a pattern with democrats. (Did Obama ever return the money HE received from Rezko and Rezko’s Saddam-connected Islamic fundraisers?)

The formidable task of sifting through the mountains of documents Saddam’s regime left behind is only beginning. Many of the answers at this point are obscured by more questions.

But George Galloway most assuredly wasn’t the only person lining his pockets by defending Saddam Hussein. Journalists and diplomats and businessmen have been doing it for years. Their stories will be told.

Although they won’t be told by the terrorist-loving MSM any time soon…

See David Horowitz: “The March to Save Saddam Hussein”. Those people who were paid by Saddam’s regime to talk his regime’s talking points are no different than the communists and other totalitarian supporters who promote Iraqi Baathist style propaganda during the pre-invasion period:

myths about starving children and about alleged mercernary interests behind American policy; all of them had one purpose — to disarm the American force already in the Middle East and allow Saddam to fight another day.

Fortunate for us, it didn’t work, Saddam was deposed and eventually captured and hung by the Iraqis themselves.

Still, it gives us another glimpse into the true motivation behind what the democrats are doing and have done regarding pandering to our enemies.

liberal pansy coward hits a girl

They behave this way because they’re emasculated latte sipping commies who have no respect for people who disagree with them; and because they don’t conform to societal norms. In reality, they REJECT societal norms because they’re trying to engineer a “new” or “open” society where criminals like this guy run free and normal people hide behind locked doors….similar to what they did in Soviet Russia.

What’s interesting to me is the fact that a man like this wouldn’t be afraid of a backlash in his brazen attempt to assault Skye’s free speech.

But slapping someone for holding a different opinion is hardly the type of behavior that would convince someone that his point is valid. Our side is law abiding; their side is not. Our side loves their country, their side is comprised of self-loathing America-haters and self appointed victims who belong to an assortment of what they consider to be ‘oppressed groups’.

Look at this guy; he thinks he’s a frenchman.

protestorarrested6-1.jpg

This is the weenie that hit Skye and was arrested for having done so.

What. No pink beret? No Che Tshirt?

My intention was to provide readers with a video of him doing the dirty deed–but for some reason it is no longer up either at Liveleak or at youtube.

Here it is:

He was irritated when someone called him a ‘leftard’…and then turned around and hit Skye, saying ‘get that camera out of my face!’ Someone pointed out that it was very mature of him to call someone immature and then turn around and hit a girl. If he were in kindergarten, I wonder if he’d get a ‘time out’.

Just like what ANSWER really stands for…

It doesn’t really matter if it’s a Minuteman protest, or an anti-war demonstration - their behavior is despicable, either way.

This is in reality what we’re facing; everyone should be prepared for these thugs; even if they look like harmless metrosexual frenchmen.

We need to develop some kind of a strategy to counter these people while staying within the confines of the law. The problem is: they don’t care what the laws are–they want to overthrow our system.

So how do you oppose someone and protect your own safety when your oposition breaks all the rules while we’re supposed to follow them? The police are of little help until AFTER THE FACT…and in some cases, they ignore calls for help!!! (That happened in Berkeley when the police hung up on people who were calling for help/protection from these people!)

Maybe taking some kind of self defense instruction would help…although it pains me that it’s even necessary.

Vets For Freedom play to standing room only crowd

See more, here.

Despite what the Demoscummic Underpants tried to pull off…. Vets for Freedom played to a standing-room-only crowd. Apparently, calls came in ‘complaining’ about VFF’s scheduled appearance at Forest Lake High School, and the principal of the school cancelled the event.

With an incredible 12 hours’ notice, 200 people showed up at the American Legion — the standing-room-only crowd spilled out into the hallway.

About two-dozen Forest Lake High School students skipped school to attend, holding signs that said “Support the Vets” and “We love our troops.” The outpouring of support from the community in Forest Lake was incredible, and we hope for an even larger crowd at tonight’s event.

Students skip school to see Iraq speech.

“My brother’s in the armed forces…it’s a slap in the face for people with family members in the armed forces.” ~student Elijah Miller

These kids have a right to know what’s going on, despite the democrats’ complete willingness to muzzle or should I say *censor* the opposition.

Anti-war protest during EASTER Catholic Mass

These people will stop at nothing.

What Bush’s evil war for oil has to do with a Catholic Mass is anyone’s guess…

Peace activists start hitting their opposition

Apparently they’re unable to defend their position?

“Peace Activists” Slap Female Blogger Twice–Encourage Others to Violence”
-Melanie Morgan:

Many times I have been threatened with violence, as well as our staff at Move America Forward.

We simply shrug off the danger, and continue with our work to support our troops.

‘Skye’ at MidnightBlue.com wasn’t so lucky yesterday in Philadelphia, Pa.

She was slapped TWICE by so-called ‘peace activists’.

Video verifying ‘Skye’s’ account coming shortly. And photos.

I’ve seen Skye frequently in the chatrooms at Blogtalkradio, she has her own show over there, and also appeared on Newt One American Truth Warriors and other shows to talk about the after action reports from the Winter Soldier II protest because she was there.

This is disgusting…

Catherine Moy at MAF’s The Daily File blog about Saturday’s counter pinko demonstration.

Melanie has more at her blog, Michelle Malkin points out all some organizations which were in attendance-Eagles Up, MAF, and Patriot Guard Riders, as well as locals who frequent conservative forums like Free Republic, Lafayette Flag Brigade and Blue Star Mothers.

Melanie rode through in on the back of a hog. She writes:

The most deeply moving moment of the day came when a young man, fresh from Iraq and a close haircut, literally wandered into our gathering. He was stunned.

He had NO IDEA so many people supported him, especially in BERKELEY.

I wish I got our soldier’s name, but he was a bit embarassed because he was crying. I gave him a hard, long hug and whispered, “Welcome Home, Soldier.”

That’s when he really broke down.

God Bless our soldiers, and all of you. Never before in American history has there EVER been a counter protest movement to the so-called ‘Peace Crowd’, a fringe group of people who are screaming like hyenas, calling our troops thugs, baby-rapers and murderers.

They are NOT.

They are HEROES and I was proud to stand in support of their service and sacrifice.

Damn, now I am crying.

They had over 600 people turn out and it surprised the hell out of the media.

What a trip!

Great photos at Protest Shooter.
