The mastermind of the Port Richmond bank robbery was Howard Cain, who was fatally shot by police Saturday while fleeing in a minivan minutes after he fired a once-banned high-powered Chinese assault rifle, killing Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski, police say.

Cain apparently realized he couldn’t hold up a bank where he was known, so he and Floyd donned Muslim women’s clothes - a hijab covering their heads; long dresses, called an abaya; and face veils, called nik-ab - to prevent detection, the source said.

Warner, of Westminster Street near 54th, wore a dreadlock wig and dust mask, the source added. Then, the trio marched into the bank, and Sgt. Liczbinski responded to the bank robbery alarm at 11:26 a.m.

The trio hopped in a blue Jeep Liberty. Hearing flash information about the Jeep, Liczbinski chased the vehicle, which stopped twice before hitting a pole. Cain jumped out and fired the high-powered SKS assault rifle five times at the officer, hitting his left trunk and leaving him in a pool of blood, at Schiller and Almond streets, police said.

Liczbinski’s car had one bullet hole on the driver’s side door.

I’ll be commenting on this later, but Fareed NuMan, an “Islamic researcher” claimed “They couldn’t be practicing Muslims, no way. The Quran forbids a man to imitate a woman.” More apologetics from a liar, since there are many documented cases of muslims dressing up as women in order to escape.

I heard this on the radio this morning, and there was an audio of a woman who said ‘the kids can keep themselves occupied by feeding the mice’. Apparently they were waiting for their plane, and the kids had discovered somehow that if they threw food on the ground, mice and/or rats would come running out to get it. Squeals of delight from these kids woke up a woman who was sleeping.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The widow of a man who died after receiving contaminated heparin told a congressional subcommittee Tuesday “we have a false sense of security” in a land where people expect to be protected and safe.

Brushing away tears, Johanna Marie Staples of Toledo, Ohio, said her husband, Dennis, was looking forward to his 60th birthday party on the last day of his life.

Contaminated heparin, a blood thinner used in dialysis and other treatments, has been connected to 81 deaths and 785 severe allergic reactions, said Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., chairman of the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on oversight and investigations.

The heparin, made from ingredients imported from China, has been recalled by Baxter International and the Food and Drug Administration has blocked imports from the Chinese company.

I think it should be more than the FDA that blocks imports from the Chinese…they have absolutely no Quality Control, as was evidenced by the lead paint, the mold in the pet food, etc.

These two stories are the latest in moonbattery here in Illinois.

Here is one about a Vietnam Veteran; a former marine, with a funny t-shirt, who was arrested by the Island Lake cops. I personally love the t-shirt he’s wearing. He’s been wearing it to Island Lake board meetings.

Greg Kachka, 60, faces a pair of misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges after Trustee Debbie Herrmann and Village Clerk Christy Kaczmarek complained they felt threatened by his actions.

Kachka, of 3221 Hyacinth Terrace, said the trouble started March 13 when he questioned the board’s legal fees while wearing a T-shirt with a picture of a Marine Corps sniper and the words, “Don’t Move. If You Run, You’ll Only Die Tired.”

But police said the charges have less to do with the T-shirt.

“It is what he was doing with his right hand,” Sgt. Anthony Sciarrone said. “Both of our complainants stated he made gestures where he had his index finger and thumb in a fashion portraying a handgun.”

They were afraid because he pointed his fingers at the Hermannator.

Sciarrone said police have a picture of Kachka making the gesture, taken from the board meeting videotape.

“I would not have signed a complaint if I did not feel just cause to do so,” Herrmann said. “We’ve got a job to do up there and we shouldn’t have to worry about residents being adverse to what we are doing.”

Hermann should get a life. She was making faces at Kachka the whole time, and from what he says, she is notorious for her face-making at residents. Kachka’s arrest didn’t happen immediately after the board meeting, it took them some time to build enough of a case to arrest him. Police called Kachka to tell him to turn himself in, he said he wasn’t going to turn himself in because he didn’t do anything wrong. Your fingers are not weapons! But that didn’t phase police, because the next thing you know, they’re banging at Kachka’s front door, demanding that he let them in. They put him in handcuffs and didn’t allow him to take his medicine for diabetes until after they’d arrived at the station. They were rough with Kachka, and used the reasoning that - he didn’t voluntarily turn himself in, so now they’re going to do it ‘the hard way’.

The other weird story is the one from Prospect Heights, where a little old lady was ordered by a judge to stop feeding the birds. Now we should all remember that the homes in this area sit on about a half acre, and these people are surrounded by woods….and the next door neighbors have bird feeders up, which makes this seem even more ridiculous.

Halina and Richard Rogulski said they just wanted to enjoy the freedom of watching birds feed outside their Prospect Heights home.

But on Thursday, they emptied their five feeders and agreed to comply with a six-month ban on putting out birdseed—an order from a Cook County judge who ruled against them in a neighborhood dispute.

“I was born in communist Russia, and in Russia, there was no freedom to pray . . . but not the birds. We could feed the birds,” said Halina Rogulski, 73, a Polish immigrant who came to the United States after spending three years as a child in a German labor camp during World War II.

Neighbors John and Alice Gornick had complained the Rogulskis’ feeders, as well as the dish of bird food and bread that was put out for ducks, was a health hazard because it attracted too many birds and raccoons, opossums and other critters.

The only neighbors that complained were a pair of grouches whose yard backs up to the Rogulski’s. Johnny B from the Loop went over there yesterday, and cops followed him. Johnny B was saying this whole thing is ridiculous, but when he got there and saw that the homes are surrounded by woods, and that the Rugulski’s neighbors have bird feeders in their yards, it made the complaints even more stupid, and the judge’s ruling seem like simple fascism based on the complaints of some nasty neighbors who took over 400 pictures of the Rugulki’s backyard. Johny tried to ask the complaining neighbor to let the Rugulski’s feed the birds, but the neighbor was only interested in Johnny B being escorted away from their property and refused to engage in conversation.

This reminds me of Nazi Germany where neighbors reported their neighbors and as a result, people would get carted off by the Nazi stormtroopers in the middle of the night; never to be heard from again.

DPS Trooper killed

A statewide search continues for a suspect in the shooting death of a Texas Public Safety trooper in East Texas.

The DPS identifies the slain trooper as 39 year-old James Scott Burns. A DPS statement says they are searching for 37 year-old Brandon Robertson of Tyler. A DPS spokeswoman says, the shooting happened at the end of a chase last night near a rural crossroads just west of Kellyville.

The funeral for a trooper who was shot and killed Tuesday night in Marion County will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Linden. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery on U.S. 59 South, under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden.

Visitation for slain DPS Trooper James Scott Burns, who was killed during a traffic stop, is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church.

Frankly, I am disappointed in this.

SAN DIEGO, April 18 (UPI) — Prosecutors in San Diego have dropped charges against a 34-year-old woman convicted in January of killing her U.S. Marine husband.

Cynthia Sommer was freed from the Los Colinas jail after spending two years and four months behind bars on charges of fatally poisoning Sgt. Todd Sommer with arsenic, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Friday.

In freeing Sommer, prosecutors said the conclusions of a new group of toxicology experts has cast doubt on poisoning as a cause of Sgt. Sommer’s death.

District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis told a news conference Thursday “as soon as we had the information that pointed to reasonable doubt, we brought this case this afternoon to get the matter dismissed.”

Sommer, 23, died in February, 2002 after collapsing at the couple’s home at the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station.

At first doctors said he died of natural causes but tests later found high levels of arsenic in his liver and kidneys.

Court documents said a lab in Canada re-tested Sommers’ tissue samples this month and found no evidence of arsenic.

I’m wondering what tissues were used for this second test–because Sommers was cremated before there were suspicions surrounding his untimely demise. The circumstantial evidence showed her actions were extremely odd for a new grieving widow; just within the first five hours of Todd’s death, she asked about the insurance proceeds four times, if memory serves.

The family was going through financial stress, she was spending money like there was no tomorrow, and had been to a doctor to consult about a boob job the day Todd became sick. How she was planning to pay for it seemed to be quite obvious. They’d gone through Todd’s trust fund money and were relatively broke; spending more monthly than they were taking in. After his death, she went ahead with the breast augmentation, and found other ways to go through the insurance proceeds.

Something still stinks about this.

This cat was shot and killed in Roscoe Village, on the North side of Chicago, after officers unloaded a reported sum total of 8 shots into it. Some reports I have read said it was 3 feet long, and 150 pounds, which is ridiculous.

This thing surely looks longer than 3 feet long to me.

NBC5’s Alex Perez reported that the police cornered the animal against a fence, and then the animal tried to attack them. Police said the cougar was 5 feet tall and weighed approximately 150 pounds.

“It doesn’t look like it’s a very thin cat,” said Mark Rosenthal of Cook County Animal Care and Control. “It looks like it’s got good flesh on it — it was eating well.”

I love cougars; they’re magnificent. But I’d rather look at one in the zoo or in a lovely coffee table book or on the discovery channel than face one when I’m walking my dog when I’m unarmed. They’re known as puma or mountain lions, their range in the wild is 150 miles or so. But I’m a realist; people should know what to do when faced with one; and that is - don’t run, lock eyes with them and don’t act like prey. Grab a stick or a weapon of some type and make yourself look really big. They can jump 15 feet, and they are really quick, so you can’t outrun them. As opposed to a bear attack - where you’re supposed to ‘play dead’, when confronted with a cougar, you’re supposed to make a lot of noise and put up a fight.

And never turn your back on them.

The typical idiots came out of the woodwork complaining that the cops killed this cat, but the thing attacked them; which they will do when cornered. Animal rights activists wanted to know why it wasn’t tranquilized and why wasn’t animal control involved? Part of the reason why it wasn’t tranquilized is - it takes a good 20 minutes for a tranquilizer to work on an animal of this size. The other is - if the cops had not killed it, it surely would have mauled them. It’s simple common sense; although it doesn’t help the city of Chicago with its love of gun control.

I think it was a good thing they did when this large cat was roaming in a heavily populated area…but even though there have only been two sightings of mountain lions in the Illinois area since the 1860’s - it doesn’t mean they aren’t here.

Coyotes have expanded their range, too.

At Cougar Watch, they call this small collection of photographs inconclusive. But when you see them in succession, it’s readily apparent that this is a mountain lion, who is curious; and is even taking a moment to look inside the window to find out what is going on in there. The last photo shows the cougar in the darkness, and then his image fades and what is left is eyes glowing in the dark. The pictures were taken when there was a slight dusting of snow on the ground. Still, it’s chilling when you think that someone would open that door to let a dog or cat outside…a waiting fast food meal for a cougar of this size.

Cougars are tan in color, although when they’re born, they have leopard-like spots. This video shows what a cougar looks like, and how it moves.

Charlton Heston, Epic Film Star and Voice of N.R.A., Dies at 83

He was also a hunk. He made over 100 films over his acting career which spread out over 60+ years.

Heston was a Former President of the NRA, and will be missed. He went to New Trier High School in Wilmette…here in Illinois. He received a scholarship to Northwestern University from the Winnetka Community Theatre, where he practiced his craft of acting in theatre productions.

He served seven times as president of the Screen Actors Guild, was chairman of the American Film Institute and the winner of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

I will always remember him for his portrayal of Moses in the movie, “the Ten Commandments”.

According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, cougars in Illinois are rare. In a press release issued last month, the agency said only two cougars have been found in Illinois since 1862.

That’s because they don’t want to be found.

This is a really weird story…

MARATHON, Fla. - Officials say a woman died in the Florida Keys after a stingray jumped out of the water and struck her upper body.

The spotted eagle ray had hit the 55-year-old woman while she was in a boat today. Officials say she was hit in the face or neck.

It’s not clear whether the animal’s barb struck the Michigan woman, or if the impact killed her.

This could have been a really big animal; these rays can be 17 feet long and up to 500 pounds. Still, it reminds me of that Aussie guy Steve Irwin- in that other fatal freak accident with a stingray.

This weekend, the Simon Wiesenthal Center will be holding a memorial and rally in Los Angeles for the victims of the terror attack in Jerusalem.

In addition to the Berkeley blockade, anti-war and anarchist groups have already attacked military recruiting centers in Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Minn.; Milwaukee, Wis.; Santa Monica, Calif.; Toledo, Ohio’ Murfressboron, Tenn.; Pittsburgh, Penn.; Haverhill, Mass, and New York, N.Y.

It is past time for leaders in the Senate and House to demand an investigation into the nationwide epidemic of attacks on recruiting stations. U.S. Attorneys should prosecute the agitators. The Constitution provides that the federal government be able to raise an Army during wartime. The escalation in attacks is not only costing taxpayers money, but they could cripple the country’s ability to defend herself. If this isn’t treason, what is?

Then, when there was no response, Sinclair filed a lawsuit against David Axelrod, Barack Obama, and the DNC. Since then, Obama supporters have gone after Sinclair instead of looking to their golden boy for an explanation. (Which would be the rational thing to do.)

I’d like to see them ask Obama to take a polygraph….all of this political posturing, attacking and threatening Sinclair- while protecting Obama from merely answering a simple question is incredibly suspicious.

Supposedly the owner of Whitehouse.com is Daniel Parisi, a porn king. Whitehouse.com came online in 1997 and started out as an adult and political entertainment website. According to a statement on the web, it was originally created by Dan Parisi as a place where uncensored discussion of government policies could occur before adult content was added to make it more profitable.

He’s reportedly been offered large sums of money for the domain or website, because he’s stated that he wants to get out of that game and concentrate on ‘parenthood’ and ‘real estate’.

Daniel Parisi owns Jennifer Lopez sucks dot com, Microsoft sucks dot com and about 600 similar domains and has been named ‘the master of all things sucky’.

Whitehouse.com is also offering $10,000 plus the cost of airfare and hotel bills to Sinclair up front for taking the test — with the promise of 10 times that amount as a larger reward, if he passes. An offer letter has already been mailed to Sinclair.

Since Sinclair’s private information was published on the web, and he’s been receiving telephone calls and death threats, I would hesitate if I were him.

It sounds to me like a setup; they pick where and who gives him the test, and all Sinclair has to do is show up and take the money?

Does Parisi still own the site? It seems unclear:

In 2004 Parisi decided to sell the domain, mainly because of his son who would be in kindergarten the next year. At this point he was making US$1 million annually from the site alone. Parisi had said he did not want to sell the domain name to anyone in the adult entertainment industry, and even claimed to have turned down what was essentially a blank check from a buyer hiding his identity behind his broker.

In November 2005, the domain appeared to be used for a real estate site. In December 2005 it contained only Google ads, with a notice that a site for investigating people by checking their public records would be coming.

In March 2006, whitehouse.com called itself “America’s Free Speech Forum”. It advertised a cartoon contest and presented links to Associated Press political news stories.

In July 2006, the site was a real estate site again, and forwarded to www.house.com.

As of November 2006, was a search engine for people, which searched over 90 million White Pages listings and 14 million Yellow Pages listings.

As of June-October 2007, the site once again changed and now claims to be “your source for up-to-date information to help you keep track of the major party candidates for President.”

It appears as though the contact information is for a Parisi - in New York.

A gunman killed five students and wounded 16 others in a Northern Illinois University lecture hall on Thursday afternoon in DeKalb before killing himself, according to university and police officials.

John G. Peters, the president of Northern Illinois University, reported at a news conference that four of the dead were women and two were men. He said four died at the scene, including the gunman, and the other two died at the hospital. All the wounded and the dead were students, including the graduate student leading the ocean sciences class.

According to students in the class, a tall white skinny man dressed in black stepped out from behind a curtain on the stage of the lecture hall, said nothing, and opened fire with a shotgun.

He shot again and again, witnesses said, perhaps 20 times. Students in the large lecture hall, stunned, dropped to the floor.

Just another “gunfree zone”…

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) — Witnesses at Northern Illinois University say he was dressed in black and opened fire with a shotgun and two handguns.

When it was over, up to 18 people were injured, four critically, and police say the gunman was dead of a self-inflicted wound.

The gunman is said to be a student, but not at NIU. The campus is in DeKalb, about 65 miles west of Chicago.

The shooting happened at 3 p.m. in a geology class at a lecture hall near the center of the campus. Witnesses say the gunman stepped from being a screen and opened fire. Police say they have no motive.

A spokeswoman for a hospital says it received 17 victims, all with wounds from the shooting or flying debris. Another victim was airlifted to another hospital.

Defendants have and continue to conspire against the rights of citizens in that they are actively engaged in ongoing internet intimidation, claim to be conducting illegal investigations into plaintiff’s personal life, actively involved in preventing allegations of illegal drug use and sexual activity involving Defendant Obama from becoming public knowledge.

Plaintiff states that he personally engaged in sexual activity and personally used illegal drugs in November 1999 with U.S. Senator Barack Obama on two separate occasions. Plaintiff states that he attempted to contact defendant Obama in the fall of 2007 to advise defendant Obama to make his 1999 use of illegal drugs public himself and that if he did not do so then plaintiff would have no choice but to come forward as defendants’ actions were relevant to his running for President of the United States. Defendant Obama ignored plaintiffs attempts to allow defendant Obama to reveal this information on his own.

It sounds to me as though Sinclair is tired of being hung up on when he has attempted calling Axelrod, and has been ignored by the media that he’s spoken to since last fall.

Thus far, Larry Sinclair has spoken with The New York Post, Fox News, MSNBC, and numerous others, yet for some odd reason, nothing has come of this.
