now, we have Reverend Wright, Obama and Hezbollah

Filed under: Obama , Terrorism and Islam @ 7:26 pm

I don’t think the situation for Obama can get any worse. Haven’t we listed just about every terrorist organization in history is in support of Barack Obama–marxist, socialist, Islamic, you name it - he has their endorsement.

In “Obama’s Church Printed Pro-Hezbollah Articles“, Steve Gilbert outlines the reason why the Trinity Church of Christ printed those Pro-Hezbollah Articles: Obama and Wright were on Hezbollah’s side during Israel’s limited incursion into Lebanon two summers ago.

It defies reason that “Christ” is in that church’s name. I could think of a lot of other names that would be more fitting.

Obama’s doubletalk and fancy footwork on Hamas

From the Confederate Yankee and Times UK Online:

“Barack Obama sacks adviser over talks with Hamas”

Reliably, the Obama Middle East Policy Advisor only met with Hamas because he belongs to a “peace outfit” - a leftist crazy ‘conflict resolution’ think tank. Isn’t it interesting that Obama would fire someone for participating in talks with Hamas when Obama said he would “negotiate” with them?

Obama has said:

And what we should be doing is reaching out aggressively to our allies, but also talking to our enemies and focusing on those areas where we do not accept their actions, whether it be terrorism or developing nuclear weapons, but also talking to Iran directly about the potential carrots that we can provide in terms of them being involved in the World Trade Organization, or beginning to look at the possibilities of diplomatic relations being normalized.

So he wants to negotiate with terrorists.

The president has to lead that diplomacy, which is why I’ve said I would convene a meeting of Muslim leaders upon taking office because I think we have to send a strong signal that we are willing to listen and not just talk, and certainly not just dictate or engage in military action.

There again he’s all about negotiating with terrorists.

From Powerline on Hamas’ endorsement of Obama:

[…] Aaron Klein and John Batchelor interviewed Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas, on WABC radio. The interview produced a scoop which, for some reason, has not been widely publicized: Hamas has endorsed Barack Obama for President. Yousef said, “We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election.” Why? “He has a vision to change America.” Maybe Yousef has some insight into what Obama means by all these vague references to “change.”

He and his PR people certainly want it to APPEAR as though they’re outraged over a campaign worker talking with Hamas. What really matters is what lies in your heart. John Hawkins asks an interesting question:

Now that prominent members of Hamas are endorsing Obama, can Hizbollah and Al-Qaeda be far behind?

“Change you can believe in”. That slogan is starting to invoke immediate fits of uncontrollable laughter from me whenever I hear it now.

CY: [Obama] kicks off his political career by attending a fundraiser in the home of a pair of well-known and infamous domestic terrorists that led a group that had targeted and in some cases killed American citizens, including off-duty soldiers and police officers. When this association is highlighted, he labels it a “distraction.”

[…]That’s not change you can believe in. That’s moral cowardice and craven opportunism.

Exactly.

Iraq Veterans against the War to appear before their comrades

meettheneojohnssameastheoldjohns1.jpg

I couldn’t find a satisfactory commie picture of the IVAW alone, so this one will have to do. From The Two Malcontents.

The marxist IVAW plan is to bring their dog and pony show before the House Progressive Caucus, since their original efforts in Maryland didn’t go over so well. The next phase is to go over and sing to the choir in Washington; their dutiful fellow pink-o comrades in the Progressive Caucus. (Rep. Dennis Kucinich, co-chairman)

Take a look at the organizations that support the Congressional Progressive Caucus (Circus). It should give you an idea of the 70 or so Congressional members of this caucus(circus) and how they spend their time:

“An array of national progressive organizations will work to support the efforts of the caucus, including the Institute for Policy Studies, The Nation magazine, MoveOn.org, National Priorities Project, Jobs with Justice, Peace Action, Americans for Democratic Action, and Progressive Democrats of America. Also co-sponsoring the kickoff event were the NAACP, ACLU, Progressive Majority, League of United Latin American Citizens, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, National Council of La Raza, Hip Hop Caucus, Human Rights Campaign, Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs, and the National Hip Hop Political Convention. The CPC has long maintained cordial ties with the Democratic Socialists of America, which hosted its website during the 1990s.”

Until 1999 the Progressive Caucus worked in open partnership with Democratic Socialists of America. After the press reported on this link, the connections suddenly vanished from both organizations’ websites. -Discover the Networks

The eyes and ears of thousands will be inspecting closely every word spoken by IVAW testifiers since, according to IVAW press release, the Congressional testimony is billed as being under “oath”. A few calls for “proof” (date, time, place, witnesses, leadership, and unit involved) would be appropriate…generalities may be satisfying to a gullible media or politically correct congress, but when our warriors and nation’s policies are potentially defamed and distorted, only facts and credible evidence will be acceptable.

There was nothing of substance reported at the WSII National Labor College event so we can expect the IVAW tilted crystal ball to fabricate additional fantasy, if this appearance actually occurs.

Information as to where and when of the testimony is listed below in a IVAW press release.

Winter Soldier on the Hill: Iraq Veterans to Testify Before Congress on Failure of Troop Surge

WHAT: Winter Soldier on the Hill

WHO: Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) & The Congressional Progressive Caucus

WHEN: May 15, 2008, 9:30am-12:30pm

WHERE: 2261 Rayburn House Office Building

WHY: To present eyewitness accounts of the Iraq occupation to Congress.

Washington, DC - On May 15, members of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) will testify under oath before Congress about their eyewitness accounts of the military occupation of Iraq. Testifiers will include veterans who served during the surge.

This testimony represents a shift from reports to Congress from high-level commanders and political appointees to direct accounts from boots-on-the-ground soldiers and Marines about the situation in Iraq. Testifiers will detail the ineffectiveness of the “troop surge,” the dehumanization, abuse and killing of innocent Iraqi civilians, and the breakdown of the military as a result of the ongoing occupation of Iraq.

Testifiers will include Luis Montalvan, who served two tours in Iraq as an Army Captain; Jason Washburn, a US Marine Corps Infantry Rifleman who served three tours in Iraq; and Kristofer Goldsmith, who served in the Army as an Artillery Forward Observer in Sadr City, Iraq.

“The time has come for Congress to hear about the occupation from the soldiers and Marines who have seen it first-hand. Petraeus continues to repeat the administration’s talking points while ignoring what the soldiers on the ground know: the Iraq occupation is not working,” said Kelly Dougherty, a former Military Police Sergeant in Iraq and Executive Director of IVAW.

Winter Soldier on the Hill is a continuation of Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan (WSIA), held at the National Labor College from March 13-16, 2008. Named after Thomas Paine’s reference to soldiers who stand up for their country in its darkest hours, WSIA gathered over 250 members of IVAW and collected over 30 hours of testimony regarding the negative impact of the Iraq occupation on the military - including an overburdened Veterans’ Administration, demoralized service members and a crumbling military infrastructure.

Iraq Veterans Against the War was founded in 2004 to give those who have served in the military since September 11, 2001 a way to come together and speak out against an unjust, illegal and unwinnable occupation. Today, IVAW has over 1,000 members in 43 states, Washington, D.C. and Canada and on military bases overseas.

From Colonel Riley (USA, Ret) through email.

More at the Sniper here and here, here

GOE has created another petition (http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/ivawtruthintestimony/) asking the CPC to verifiy any info that the IVAW brings to them. This petition reads about the same as the petition that was circulated for the Senate Armed Services Committee. The CPC is more of an ad-hoc group than any sort of official committee, but since we’ve been out in front of IVAW on this, we should probably stay there.

Please circulate this petition among your mailing lists.

Although all things considered, I’m not sure how much good it will do beyond show them that we’re watching every move they make.

Philly cop murdered by bank robbers wearing Muslim garb

Michelle Malkin by way of Tel-Chai Nation

Philly Daily News:

The mastermind of the Port Richmond bank robbery was Howard Cain, who was fatally shot by police Saturday while fleeing in a minivan minutes after he fired a once-banned high-powered Chinese assault rifle, killing Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski, police say.

Cain apparently realized he couldn’t hold up a bank where he was known, so he and Floyd donned Muslim women’s clothes - a hijab covering their heads; long dresses, called an abaya; and face veils, called nik-ab - to prevent detection, the source said.

Warner, of Westminster Street near 54th, wore a dreadlock wig and dust mask, the source added. Then, the trio marched into the bank, and Sgt. Liczbinski responded to the bank robbery alarm at 11:26 a.m.

The trio hopped in a blue Jeep Liberty. Hearing flash information about the Jeep, Liczbinski chased the vehicle, which stopped twice before hitting a pole. Cain jumped out and fired the high-powered SKS assault rifle five times at the officer, hitting his left trunk and leaving him in a pool of blood, at Schiller and Almond streets, police said.

Liczbinski’s car had one bullet hole on the driver’s side door.

I’ll be commenting on this later, but Fareed NuMan, an “Islamic researcher” claimed “They couldn’t be practicing Muslims, no way. The Quran forbids a man to imitate a woman.” More apologetics from a liar, since there are many documented cases of muslims dressing up as women in order to escape.

Men disguised as Muslim women rob bank from 2007 (Reuters)

Red Mosque leader captured while trying to escape … in a burqa from 2007 (Hot Air)

The Niqab and Burqa as Security Threats, November, 2006 (Daniel Pipes)

Attacking a church:
Two assailants in burqas threw a grenade among worshippers at a Christmas Day service on in the village of Chianwala, northwest of Lahore, killing three and wounding thirteen. (December 25, 2002)

Burqa’ed commandos capture burqa’ed Al-Qaeda fugitive: On the plus side, a group of Pakistani commandoes disguised itself as women to wait out a ranking Al-Qaeda operative, Abu Faraj al-Libbi. And why were they in burqas? Tim McGirk of Time explains: “U.S. and Pakistani intelligence had received a tip that a suspected al-Qaeda operative would be traveling to [the town of] Mardan disguised as a burqa-clad woman. Because any plainclothesmen seen grabbing a woman would attract a hostile mob, the commandos had donned female garb and accosted the suspect as his motorcycle crossed a graveyard.” (May. 8, 2005)

Afghan suicide bombers hides under burqa:
Five Afghan soldiers were killed and four wounded when a suicide bomber, whom the police think was a Taliban member, disguised himself as a woman and sat in the backseat of a car, then set off a bomb hidden under his burqa at an army checkpoint in Khost province of eastern Afghanistan. According to Mohammed Ayub, the regional police chief, “The bomber probably wanted to go into Khost city for a suicide attack there, but panicked and blew himself up when the soldiers started checking.” (February 2, 2006)

Al-Qaeda leadership in Iraq: Abu Mousab al-Zarqawi, the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, eluded Western forces over a three-year period through wiliness. In the description of Bill Powell and Scott MacLeod of Time, “al-Zarqawi was a maddeningly elusive target—a master of disguise who could pass as a woman in a burqa one day, an Iraqi policeman the next.” (June 11, 2006)

Palestinian gunmen escape Israeli forces in Gaza:
The IDF suspected that Palestinian gunmen dressed up as women to escape a 19-hour standoff with the IDF that tried to dislodge them from a mosque where they were hiding.

Islam is a complete system

Filed under: General , Terrorism and Islam @ 5:37 am

Islam - A SHORT SYNOPSIS OF HOW IT WORKS

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table.
Here is how it works.
(Percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

United States — Muslim 1.0%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1%-2%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among the street gangs:

Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.

They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. (United States). Refusal by Muslim cash register employees to handle non-halal merchandise purchases.

France — Muslim 8%
Philippines — Muslim 5%
Sweden — Muslim 5%
Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad &Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions
(Paris — car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam — Mohammed cartoons).

Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:

Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:

Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% on you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other
religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon
and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

Albania — Muslim 70%
Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%< /STRONG>
Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% Muslim expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:

Bangladesh — Mus lim 83%
Egypt — Muslim 90%
Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
Iran — Muslim 98%
Iraq — Muslim 97%
Jordan — Muslim 92%
Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan — Muslim 97%
Palestine — Muslim 99%
Syria — Muslim 90%
Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% Muslim will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace — there’s supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:

Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
Somalia — Muslim 100%
Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.

‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel. Quote: — Leon Uris, ‘The Haj’

It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national population average would indicate.

Muslim polygamist goes on trial for imprisoning, abusing 3 wives and 19 children

Filed under: Terrorism and Islam @ 4:36 am

Naturally, this went on in California, all kinds of other funny business has gone on in the name of Islam - like Your Muslim Bakery. This is what happens when people assume that all people are good, and that all choices lead to good outcomes.

Mansa Musa Muhummed ‘justified his actions based on Islamic law, including beating his wives (Qur’an 4:34), and forbidding them to leave the house, which Muhammad endorsed according to a hadith quoted in the jurisprudence manual ‘Umdat al-Salik (The Reliance of the Traveler)’-Marisol

But hey, it must be okay, because it’s their religion. Right, R. Kevin Jaques?

From SignOnSanDiego, May 5

MURRIETA – A man starved the 19 children under his roof, beat some of them and their mothers and made the youngsters and two of his three so-called wives virtual prisoners in their own home, a prosecutor told jurors Monday as the defendant’s long-delayed trial got under way.

Mansa Musa Muhummed, who was arrested in 1999, faces eight counts of torture – each of which carries a potential life sentence – 11 counts of willful injury to a child, five counts of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse and two counts of false imprisonment.

Marva Boddie, the woman who was legally married to Muhummed under state law – the other two were not – was arrested along with him nine years ago and pleaded guilty in 2000 to one count of willful injury to a child. […]

Muhummed allegedly kept two of his three so-called wives and 19 children – his and theirs – prisoner in their home, torturing seven of them, prosecutor Julie Baldwin told jurors in her opening statement.

“He would beat their feet … to the point where they could hardly stand or walk,” she said.

When authorities went into the home in the 49000 block of Sweepstakes Lane on April 6, 1999 – they were alerted by someone who managed to escape and go for help – some of the children were underweight, undernourished and stunted because of lack of food, the prosecutor said.[…]

One of Muhummed’s so-called wives, Laura Cowan, testified that in 1995, Muhummed and his 13 children and Boddie moved into the San Bernardino condominium where she lived with her infant daughter and toddler son. Her husband had just recently gone to prison.

She tried, but failed to keep her family’s restaurant and bookstore businesses going, and everyone moved to a house in Perris, Cowan said.

“In the beginning, it was still good,” she said.

But soon, she said, she saw a different side of the defendant.

“His temperament, the way he treated the children, his demeanor started to change,” Cowan testified.

Boddie, the defendant’s legal wife, was already on welfare and Cowan said she had to go on public assistance, as well. The defendant did not work or contribute to the combined family’s finances, she said.

He convinced Cowan that they could wed, under Islamic law, because her own husband was away, she said. The moment she married the defendant, he forced her to close all her bank accounts and credit cards and assumed control of her finances and her life, she testified.

“He said I no longer had outside affairs,” Cowan said. “I was told that nothing else I would do alone.”

The defendant also forbade Cowan to work outside the home or go to school, she said, and refused her money for the children’s clothing, personal items such as toothbrushes and hair products. He bought everything for the household himself, ruling the home with an iron hand, Cowan said. […]

“I wanted to take my children and move,” said Cowan, who said she was Muslim when she became involved with the defendant but had never heard of some of the rules he imposed on her, in the name of Islam and Sharia. Cowan said she became an object of his physical abuse.

another honor killing

randobs2704_228x259.jpg
This time, in Basra, Iraq. The headline says “Teenage Iraqi girl who fell in love with BRITISH soldier in Basra is murdered by her own father in honour killing”.

But I’m not sure if I would go so far as to say she even ‘fell in love’ with him. It was a completely innocent relationship; but when her father found out she’d received gifts from the British soldier, he came back and killed her to cleanse the family honor. They buried her without the normal ceremony, and her uncles spat on her grave.

Seventeen-year-old Rand Abdel-Qader told her best friend how she had fallen for Paul, a 22-year-old she met at a charity where she worked as a volunteer.

But since she was only seventeen, similar to the Said girls in Texas, it was really quite innocent.

Rand said she met Paul only four times, always in public.

According to Zeinab, Paul used to tell Rand about England and promised to show her the sights of London one day.

“But the thing she used to like talking about best was how he praised her beauty and her intelligence. She told me he called her ‘princess’.”

Despite her feelings, there was no physical relationship. “She never did anything more than talk to him,” said Zeinab.

All infidels are now going to get sensitivity training which teaches them not to even strike up a friendship with muslim women; muslim girls should never learn what the world is like outside Iraq or where they’re from. They should never entertain the thought of merely speaking with someone who is outside of this culture…and they should always remember their place.

fjordman, Socratic dialogue versus Islamic dialogue

This is a very long piece over at dhimmiwatch, it’s worthwhile to read the whole thing.

An excerpt:

The problem with Plato is not that he used the shameful treatment of Socrates to demonstrate flaws in the democratic system and show that it does not automatically lead to individual liberty, freedom of speech and respect for private property rights, which is legitimate criticism. The problem with Plato is that he rejected these goals as desirable to begin with. He embraced what I would call “seductive authoritarianism,” where he argued that since democracy isn’t perfect, we should passionately embrace an authoritarian or indeed totalitarian system where all aspects of human life are controlled by the state with mathematical precision.

This appears to be what the leftists of today are yearning for; yet I’m surprised they haven’t looked back to history to see that the utopia they are blindly seeking doesn’t exist.

Although he is not uncritical of Sparta, the system Plato praises in The Republic is a lot closer to authoritarian Sparta than to Athens. In doing this, Plato conveniently forgot that there was no Socrates in Sparta, just like there was no Plato or Aristotle. While Plato was free to be in democratic Athens and praise the Spartan system, praising any state or system other than the Spartan one was quite literally a crime in Sparta. They produced good soldiers, but few if any scientists worthy of note. Plato thus praised a system in which no Plato could, or did, exist.

The same goes for the marxists and terrorists who are working for Barack Obama to win the election; they are praising a system under which they would probably be murdered. As Fontova said today, Jesse Jackson is against capital punishment, yet he supports Castro, one of the most notorious murdering communist thugs of all time.

As Henry Bamford Parkes puts it, “Any application of Platonic principles would have destroyed the social milieu that had made such dialogues possible. There could have been no Socratic discussions in the authoritarian state envisaged in the Republic and the Laws.” In his view, Plato’s influence was primarily negative: “In spite of his contempt for empirical observation, his emphasis on the value of mathematics helped to promote the scientific development of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.” Yet all in all, “his chief importance has been to provide philosophical support for the belief that order requires the denial of freedom.”

According to Henry Bamford Parkes, “Sparta represented the totalitarian solution to the political problem, and because of the admiration felt for it by the Athenian aristocrat Plato, it has had a lasting influence on Western thought.” One could thus argue that although freethinking is a golden thread running through the history of Western civilization, this legacy gave birth to a radical rejection of freethinking, which is also a part of the Western legacy. It is tempting to view Plato as an early forerunner of modern intellectuals with totalitarian longings, who use their freedom to praise political systems in which no freedom exists, be that Communist, Islamic or other.

When you read essays such as “The Peace Racket” by Bruce Bawer, the author of While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within, you get a very strong impression that many Western universities are now dominated by persons, many of them Marxists, who have no interest in using Socratic dialogue in search of truth. They already know the truth, or consider it irrelevant, and simply view the universities as a platform for ideological indoctrination of students. This ideological corruption has been infused with an element of financial corruption as well. As Ibn Warraq says in Defending the West: A Critique of Edward Said’s Orientalism:

“The West, in giving in to political correctness and in being corrupted by Saudi and other Arab money, is ceasing to honor the original intent of the university. In recent years, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries (e.g., Brunei) have established chairs of Islamic studies in prestigious Western universities, which are then encouraged to present a favorable image of Islam. Scientific research leading to objective truth no longer seems to be the goal. Critical examination of the sources or the Koran is discouraged. Scholars such as Daniel Easterman have even lost their posts for not teaching about Islam in the way approved by Saudi Arabia. In December 2005, Georgetown and Harvard universities each accepted $ 20 million from Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal for programs in Islamic studies. The Carter Center, founded by former president Jimmy Carter, is funded in part by bin Talal. Such money can only corrupt the original intent of all higher institutions of education, that is, the search for truth.”

In abandoning Socratic dialogue and the search for truth, the West has made itself more vulnerable to Islamic infiltration because it has in some ways become more like Islam. Only by insisting on our right to ask questions about anything can we restore what once was the purpose of our education system. We should start with rational criticism of Islam.

Keep Sami Al-Arian in jail

Filed under: Terrorism and Islam @ 5:31 pm

al-arian.jpgKeep Sami Al-Arian in jail and let him rot there. He admitted he was a terrorist, and was convicted.

This is in response to a bunch of not-so-bright people out there who are jumping on the ‘free Sami Al-Arian’ bandwagon.

In court Al-Arian plead guilty to, “conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” an admission that he was a terrorist. According to an April 17, 2006 DOJ press release:

“…Former University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian has pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiring to provide services to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a specially designated terrorist organization, in violation of U.S. law, the Department of Justice announced today?Al-Arian pleaded guilty to Count Four of the indictment against him - a charge of conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad…Al-Arian’s agreement with the government calls for a recommended prison sentence of 46 to 57 months in prison, based on a five-year maximum statutory sentence. Al-Arian, 48, who has been in custody since his arrest on Feb. 20, 2003, has agreed to stipulate to deportation to another country by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement once his prison sentence has ended…” 1

By the way, CAIR is also in support of the “free Sami Al-Arian” movement, even though they claim they have nothing to do with terrorism.

So why would the “moderate” CAIR be asking its membership to help Al-Arian and represent this jihadist merely as an unfortunate “political prisoner?”

Interestingly enough, the “free al-arian” sites are complaining about his treatment after he has gone on a hunger strike and is getting a headache as a result. They’re complaining that he’s getting no IV treatment, blah, blah, blah. This was back in March, by the way, so if he died because of the hunger strike, I missed it.

I’d like to see more people talking about this guy’s guilt and the fact that he needs to stay in prison - rather than hear the useful idiots out there clamoring for his release.

Wasn’t he supposed to be deported?

CAIR’s hyperbole

Filed under: General , Terrorism and Islam @ 7:08 am

This article points out how Ibrahim Hooper over reacted to the publication of the book “Why We Left Islam,” published by WND books. “Why We Left Islam,” tells the stories from a dozen ex-muslims, including Ali Sina and Khaled Waheed. Ibrahim Hooper told New York Daily News that:

“This book is put out by WND Publishing (sic), which promotes hate every day on its extremist anti-Muslim hate site. The editor is a guy who suggested air-dropping pig’s blood over Afghanistan. There are 7 million American Muslims and over a billion worldwide who love Islam and practice it peaceably on a daily basis.”

What is interesting is how the New York Daily News describes CAIR as “moderate”. Now at WND it’s revealed that CAIR admitted in an email that Farah did no such thing; Ibrahim Hooper made it up. Through its corporate counsel, the New York Daily News said they would amend the article, as Farah has never written such silliness.

It should be noted that Ibrahim Hooper represents CAIR, which is by no means a “moderate” group. Their goal is to APPEAR moderate, but they have their roots in Hamas, and numerous employees have been indicted on terrorist-related activities.

“CAIR can always be counted upon to make wildly untruthful and reckless claims about others, while maintaining a hypersensitivity about its own concerns,” said Farah. “Here, for example, Hooper makes this claim that WND promotes anti-Muslim hate on its site every day, offering only one example – and that one is totally untrue. Why other responsible media outlets continue to offer CAIR a platform for making such outrageous statements is beyond me. How many CAIR staffers and officials need to be indicted and convicted before my colleagues recognize these people as the extremists they are?”

From this entry “CAIR’s legal tribulations” compiled by Daniel Pipes we discover Indicted terrorist CAIR representatives (not just members, but employees and spokesmen):

Randall (”Ismail”) Royer, who joined the Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba, traveled to Pakistan, did propaganda work for it, and “fired at Indian positions in Kashmir.” In addition, Royer “possessed in his automobile an AK-47-style rifle and 219 rounds of ammunition” in September 2001, while he was an active employee of CAIR. The grand jury charged that Royer “did unlawfully and knowingly begin, provide for, prepare a means for, and take part in a military expedition and enterprise to be carried on from the United States against the territory and dominion of India, a foreign state with whom the United States was at peace.” Bail was denied, according to The Washington Post, because the judge was “not satisfied with Royer’s explanation of why he had an AK-47-style rifle and more than 200 rounds of ammunition when stopped by Alexandria police” in September 2001. He pled “guilty” in a plea bargain so he wouldn’t spend the rest of his life behind bars.

April 9, 2004: The U.S. Department of Justice announced today Royer’s sentencing:

Royer, 31, pled guilty in January 2004 to a two-count criminal information charging him with aiding and abetting the use and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and with aiding and abetting the carrying of an explosive during the commission of a felony. … Royer was sentenced today to 20 years in prison. Judge [Leonie] Brinkema sentenced him to serve 10 years in prison on both counts, and the sentences are to run consecutively. In addition, he was sentenced to three years of supervised release.

Bassem Khafagi, the former CAIR employee, pled guilty of (1) making “false material statements” on his nonimmigrant visa application on Nov. 8, 2000, in Kuwait City, Kuwait and (2) passing bad checks for thousands of dollars at two U.S. banks in early 2001. Khafagi faces up to a $250,000 fine on the visa fraud conviction and 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine for each of the two counts of bank fraud. His sentencing is scheduled to take place on December 4.

Ghassan Elashi was, according to articles of incorporation filed with the Texas Secretary of State on September 29, 1998, a founding board member of CAIR’s Texas chapter. Then, in December 2002, Elashi and his four brothers were charged with “illegal exports, making false statements on export declarations, dealing in the property of a designated terrorist, conspiracy, and money laundering.”

Rabih Haddad, executive director of the Global Relief Foundation, an effective fundraiser for the mosques in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti and for the Ann Arbor chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Rabih Haddad, 43, a Lebanese citizen who lived in Ann Arbor, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2001, the same day the offices of the charity, the Global Relief Foundation, were raided in the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview, Ill. (He was deported, if I’m not mistaken, in 2003. Not a very smart move on the part of Americans, if you asked me.)

Muthanna Al-Hanooti, 48, the former head of CAIR’s Michigan branch, was arrested in March of 2008 at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport on his return trip from the Middle East. The 14-page indictment presents five counts against him: conspiring to act as an agent of the Iraqi government, violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, and three false statements to the FBI. The indictment also alleges that “on our about December 22, 2002, the Vice President of Iraq directed the Iraqi Ministry of Petroleum to allocate to defendant AL-HANOOTI a quantity of two million barrels of oil” that he could then sell. In brief, he stands accused of being a spy for Saddam Hussein’s government. The trip to Iraq in 2003 by three Congressmen–Jim McDermott, David Bonior, and Mike Thompson–all Saddam Hussein pandering leftist democrats-was funded by Saddam Hussein, using a third party to arrange the financing; Al-Hanooti, through his “Life for Relief Development”.

In this article at Frontpage Magazine, Joe Kaufman shows an extensive web of ties between CAIR on the one hand and Global Relief and another shuttered “Islamic charity,” the Holy Land Foundation. He concludes from these connections that “in late 2001, CAIR appeared to be in violation of United States law, as in regards to the providing of material support to terrorists.”

The Investigative Project on Terrorism has produced a 15-page document on “The Suspect Ties of CAIR Officials, Fundraisers, & Trainers” that more systematically covers much of the ground in this entry.

——————————

CAIR is by no means a “moderate” group; it is tied to not only Hamas, but Saddam’s Iraq, and convicted terrorists who were not merely members, but employees.

Jonathan Cote

jcote.jpg

The sad news of the discovery of Jonathan Cote’s body has just recently hit the airwaves…apart from the other contractors’ remains which were discovered before that.

Why was Jonathan not included in the others identified and why the delay? Cote’s finger was among the fingers sent to authorities before the bodies were found. Family members have no information about the circumstances surrounding his death at the hands of the terrorists, autopsy results will be coming back in about six weeks.

gainesville.com:

Cote had served four years in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. His military service included tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was serving as a contractor - a hired civilian - when he was taken hostage.

Other U.S. civilians taken hostage with Cote were Joshua Munns, John Young, Paul Reuben and an Austrian citizen and veteran, Bert Nussbaumer. Their bodies were identified earlier this year.

May God bless his family and friends and all those who loved him right now, as they go ahead with funeral arrangements and their grief in his untimely passing.

The brutal reality that the terrorists identify infidels as less-than-human is what we are facing when we read the details of murders like Cote’s and other contractors - even the ones who were burned in their car and whose charred remains were hung over the Euphrates while terrorist sympathizers in Fallujah jumped around in sickening frenzied glee.

It is difficult to imagine this hateful cruel mentality; we are facing modern day nazis with Islamic trappings.

Said girls’ father Al Qaeda connected

From the Said girls’ myspace page.

From Pam Geller at Atlas Shrugs by way of Robert Spencer.

Pam Geller and Bill Warner have new information on the Al Qaeda connection to the Said girls’ father.

Apparently, Said has ties to Jihadis tied to al qaeda. That’s who is helping to hide him, the Muslim underground. It’s no wonder Yasir told his wife, every time he goes to the shooting range, he is shooting an Americans.

The post is detailed with a lot more than that–they talk about the Said brothers, and precisely how they are connected to the muslim underground.

[…]Three of the Said brothers have had apartments near Wadih Al Hage in Arlington TX during […] — the early 1990’s and then 1997 to 1998 while Wadih was facing trial as a member of al qaeda.

[…] The Arabic translator for Wadih El Hage’s defense team is also from the same part of the Dallas Fort Worth area as Wadih El Hage and all of the Said brothers.

[…] Wadih Al Hage was Osama bin-Laden’s personal secretary in the Sudan prior to the 1998 US Embassy bombings and Wadih Al Hage went to prison (for life) for his part in the bombings.

Below is Atlas Shrugs’ Blog Talk Radio interview with the Said girls’ aunt.

Hillary’s terrorist ties

The new three stooges

It’s been relatively well-documented now that Obama has a load of terrorists cheering him on in the wings. Now it’s coming to light that Hillary is in much the same boat.

Although even more of Hillary’s baggage was exposed, and in the debate she complained that it had all been ‘rummaged through’ for years (due I’m sure to the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy)-we should further examine her ties with known terrorist sympathizers and Hammas supporters.

Her relationship with terrorists began in the mid-1980s when she served on the board of the New World Foundation, which gave funds to the Palestine Liberation Organization, at a time when the PLO was officially recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization.

When her husband was playing footsie with Yassar Arafat.

In 1996, the first lady initiated an outreach program to bring Muslim leaders to the White House. But, as terrorism expert Steve Emerson noted in The Wall Street Journal. Curiously, nearly all of the leaders with whom Mrs. Clinton elected to meet came from Islamic fundamentalist organizations.

“A review of the statements, publications, and conferences of the groups Mrs. Clinton embraced shows unambiguously that they have long advocated or justified violence. By meeting with these groups, the first lady lent them legitimacy as ‘mainstream’ and ‘moderate.’”

Just as they view their recent meeting with Jimmy Carter. Are all the democrats modern day Neville Chamberlain lookalikes, or what?

Among these radical groups was the American Muslim Alliance (AMA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations, both groups that support Hamas, who attended a White House reception hosted by Hillary in February, 1996.

Emerson says that its leaders “have sanctioned terrorism, published anti-Semitic statements, and repeatedly hosted conferences that were forums for denunciations of Jews and exhortations to wage jihad.”

The American Muslim Alliance was headed in the ’90s by Abdulrahman Alamoudi who met with Clinton and Gore in 1995. Emerson notes that “Mrs. Clinton [allowed] the American Muslim Alliance to draw up the Muslim guest list for the first lady’s . . . White House reception.”

Alamoudi, Emerson says was “the primary defender of Musa Abu Marzug, the Hamas political bureau chief responsible for creating the group’s death squads.” Marzug took “credit” when Hamas brigades sprayed machine gun fire into a crowded Jerusalem mall. But less than three days after Marzug was arrested by the FBI in July of 1995, Alamoudi said that Marzug “had never been involved in terrorism” and called his arrest “an insult” to the Muslim community. Emerson reports that he elicited contributions fro Marzug’s defense fund and called him a ‘political prisoner.’

Read it all.

sick of Jimmy Carter yet?

Carter: Mailman for Hamas

There’s little difference between Carter’s unhinged politicking and Obama’s. Carter, like Obama, is stupid enough to be our modern day Neville Chamberlain. As it says in the video, Hamas was pleased to meet with him because in their eyes, it gave them ‘legitimacy’.

Also, see Malkin’s The Sick-Of-Jimmy-Carter Coalition

As a young veteran said - who’d lost his identical twin brother after four tours in Iraq - these people would murder us down to our infant sons and daughters.

But “peaceniks” see the world through rose-colored glasses as if they’re high on some controlled substance…and don’t want to see or acknowledge that anyone is bad, turning a blind eye to atrocitie they commit against women, against their own people, etc.

child trafficking for Islam

Filed under: Terrorism and Islam @ 8:48 pm

Families are sending their children to learn Islam, only to be send out to beg on the streets by their teachers.

Muslim Schools Make Beggars Of African Kids

[…] The children collect an average of 300 African francs a day, just 72 cents, reaping their keepers $2 million a year.

Most of the boys — 90 percent, the study found — are sent out to beg under the cover of Islam, placing the problem at the complicated intersection of greed and tradition. For among the cruelest facts of Coli’s life is that he was not stolen from his family. He was brought to Dakar with their blessing to learn Islam’s holy book.

In the name of religion, Coli spent two hours a day memorizing verses from the Quran and over nine hours begging to pad the pockets of the man he called his teacher.

Carter, hold your peace!

carterarafat.jpg
Carter placed a wreath at Arafat’s tomb, something George Bush had pointedly avoided doing [AFP] (from the terrorists at Al Jazeera)

By way of Robert Spencer, FDD’s Cliff May on Carter and appeasement:

[…] Those who attempt to appease tyrants are generally suspected of cowardice. More often, I suspect, lack of imagination is the cause. When Neville Chamberlain met with Hitler, he no doubt believed he could reason with him because he also no doubt believed that the Fuhrer - whatever his grievances or ambitions - was also a reasonable man.

What this leaves out is ideology. Hitler’s ideas - odious as they may now seem to you, me and Carter (though certainly not to Mashaal) - inspired millions to fight and die for the glory of the Third Reich. And Marxist/Leninist/Stalinist/Maoist ideology inspired millions to fight and die for the illusion of a communist utopia.

Hey meatbrain: take heed!

The ideology of Hamas derives from something more enduring than “Mein Kampf,” “Das Kapital” and the sayings of Chairman Mao. It is rooted in a 1,400-year-old religion. Hamas proudly proclaims that “the Koran is our constitution, Jihad is our way, and death for the sake of God is our highest aspiration.” Hamas leaders promise their followers not just rewards here on Earth but in the next world as well - a selling point neither Nazism nor communism could offer.

Surely, Carter is aware that, as a matter of religious conviction, Meshaal cannot accept Israel’s existence. Hamas believes every inch of Israel and, indeed, of any land ever ruled by Muslims is “an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day,” the charter states. A Muslim can fight to reclaim this endowment or he can fail to fulfill the obligations his faith imposes. To Hamas, there is no third option.

The Hamas charter asserts, “There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad.”

Not only do Hamas members oppose a “two-state solution,” they believe that nation-states are un-Islamic. Instead, an Islamic caliphate is to be re-established, an empire that is to expand until the Dar al-Islam, the world ruled by Muslims, consumes the Dar al-Harb, the world in which infidels now hold sway.

“Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our prophet Muhammad,” Hamas member and Palestinian parliamentarian Yunis al-Asal has pledged.

Does Carter sincerely think he can convince Mashaal to reject such ideas and embrace the Carter Center’s kumbaya mission of “waging peace and building hope?” Does he really believe he can change Mashaal’s mind, much less open his heart?

If so, Carter is as clueless now as he was almost 30 years ago when, on his watch as president, the Ayatollah Khomeini took power in Iran, seized America’s embassy, held our diplomats hostage and sat back to watch Carter do nothing effective in response….

That’s why we call it clueless blind moonbattery.

Ever wonder who a terrorist would vote for?

Why, a terrorists’s choice would be Barack Obama!!!

Both Hamas and Code Pink -have come out endorsing Obama.

Not to mention Louis Farrakhan.

When you consider Rezko’s ties to Saddam’s Baathist Iraq and Rezko’s fundraising for Obama, that’s about as close to the devil as you can get.

southpark_l.jpg

Nice Deb put together a list - and it’s much longer than what I pointed out: FARC, William Ayers (former Weatherman) The New Black Panthers whose leader Malik Zulu Shabazz defended Osama Bin Laden over the 9/11 attacks, Hamas, Jody Evans, Louis Farrkhan, Hugo Chavez, etc.

shifty Obama

Of course, these revelations are blamed on the Hillary campaign.

It’s hard to keep up with all of the Obama hysteria going on. It was amusing when Michelle Obama came out with the ‘it was the first time I was proud of my country’ remark, and her receiving a $250,000 raise at her job, and Barack’s connection to the hospital she works receiving an amazing $1 million in earmarks.

Recently he came out and said his mother was on food stamps
, which is highly unlikely, if not a total fabrication to pander to the single mothers who are propping his campaign. Poor Obama. You have to feel for the guy; he didn’t have a trust fund. ‘Imagine living in a three bedroom condominium without a garage.’ (Gilbert, 2008) It must have been really hard going to one of the topmost private schools in Hawaii on a scholarship, and having had to pay back student loans for Occidental, Columbia, Princeton and Harvard Law. Perhaps his marxist entitlement mindset leads him to believe he should have had scholarships for those, too.

It was a revelation when it came out that Reverend Wright’s church espouses Marxist Liberation Theology, but that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. People know that churches today teach social doctrine, not biblical doctrine. You have to parse through what people are saying in order to discover the meaning that lies in between the words.

And then we have his muslim name, and the radical muslims connection not only to his campaign, but to his church. In their newsletter, Trinity Church of Christ published a Hamas manifesto. And the church accepts muslims as members without expecting them to ‘convert’ to Christianity. And then there’s Louis Farrakhan’s connection with Wright, and Wright having made a trip with Farrakhan to visit Momar Khadafi. And Wright recently gave Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award. Wright himself, as it turns out, is a muslim. *I say this because the Koran and hadith say you can never leave the faith and if you do, you must die.*

Obama’s siblings have said they grew up muslim, and their friends were muslim, and that Barack went to mosque. In Indonesia, he was registered as a muslim, whether he was regularly practicing it or not is irrelevant, because he said that the Muslim call to prayer is the prettiest sound on earth, and has happily recited the Shahada in a first class arabic accent. Reciting the shahada makes you a muslim, according to Islamic scholars.

Rezko’s real estate deals and fundraising for Obama which lead back to Saddam’s baathists also raises some important questions.

I hear no one calling for Obama’s death or Wright’s. In fact, it would appear Farrakhan and Wright are thick as thieves. Wright’s church is building him a $1 million palatial mansion in Tinley Park, not far from Louis Farrakhan’s.

Then there is the Larry Sinclair story of homosexaual sex in the back of a limo in 1999 with Barry Obama, including smoking crack cocaine, when Obama was a Senator. This blockbuster story hasn’t really hit the airwaves yet; although a lawyer in Puerto representing the Obama campaign came out on television there talking about the story, calling Sinclair a mental patient, etc.

Larry has just taken it up a notch: He asked his lawyer, Montgomery Sibley, for a Press Conference to disclose the Limo drivers ID and reveal the source of the tip about the Axelrod/Parisi/Whitehouse.com polygraph scam.

Now it should get even more interesting. Just think: it’s only April. It’s going to be a long road for Obama until election time in November. How much longer can Obama and his minions keep these skeletons locked up in his closet?

8 year old child asks for divorce in Yemen

Filed under: Terrorism and Islam @ 6:24 pm

From Dhimmi Watch: “8-year-old girl asks for divorce in court,” by Hamed Thabet in the Yemen Times, clearly demonstrates the convoluted teachings of Islam and the deviants that Sharia law protects.

SANA’A, April 9 - An eight-year-old girl decided last week to go the Sana’a West Court to prosecute her father, who forced her to marry a 30-year-old man.

Nojoud Muhammed Nasser arrived at court by herself on Wednesday, April 2, looking for a judge to handle her case against her father, Muhammed Nasser, who forced her two months ago to marry Faez Ali Thamer, a man 22 years her senior. The child also asked for a divorce, accusing her husband of sexual and domestic abuse.

According to Yemeni law, Nojoud cannot prosecute, as she is underage. However, court judge Muhammed Al-Qathi heard her complaint and subsequently ordered the arrests of both her father and husband.

“My father beat me and told me that I must marry this man, and if I did not, I would be raped and no law and no sheikh in this country would help me. I refused but I couldn’t stop the marriage,” Nojoud Nasser told the Yemen Times. “I asked and begged my mother, father, and aunt to help me to get divorced. They answered, ‘We can do nothing. If you want you can go to court by yourself.’ So this is what I have done,” she said.

Nasser said that she was exposed to sexual abuse and domestic violence by her husband. “He used to do bad things to me, and I had no idea as to what a marriage is. I would run from one room to another in order to escape, but in the end he would catch me and beat me and then continued to do what he wanted. I cried so much but no one listened to me. One day I ran away from him and came to the court and talked to them.”

“Whenever I wanted to play in the yard he beat me and asked me to go to the bedroom with him. This lasted for two months,” added Nasser. “He was too tough with me, and whenever I asked him for mercy, he beat me and slapped me and then used me. I just want to have a respectful life and divorce him.”…

She will be kept away from her family, and there are plans for an organization to take care of her, since her family is poor. The reasoning in the article was that - if she was returned to her family - this could happen AGAIN.

There is no law against this, the charges for keeping the perpetrator are unclear, and they’ve already let her father go because of ‘health problems’.

I give this little one credit for going to court by herself to ask for a divorce, and bring this to the attention of authorities…although…sharia law isn’t really designed to protect her. After all, Mohammed married a 6-year old child, and consummated that “marriage” when she was only 9.

al-masri’s alleged demise

Lots of rumors have been swirling around about al-Masri’s alleged demise.

In May of 2007, supposedly he was dead
, and now again, supposedly he is dead AGAIN–but this version says he died in Pakistan of hepatitis.

I think they’re just trying to save his miserable hide with rumors.

Because what actually happened is…

Nazal Sabar al-Jughaify, also known as Abu al-Jarrah, was arrested in the town of Haditha after police ambushed him following a tipoff from local citizens.

“Abu Jarrah is one of the main financiers of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and also a senior lieutenant of Abu Ayyub al-Masri,” Youssef told AFP in the provincial capital of Ramadi.

So…water carriers for the terrorists in the media immediately put out disinformation to counter any intelligence that might come out of that arrest about al-Masri, the egyptian.

Or maybe his aide put that out there, who knows.

Either way, until there’s a body, I think it’s a lie.
