Ajax Comments enabled

Thanks to William Teach who is really teaching me all kinds of things, whether he knows it or not. I went over there to comment and was pleased, shocked and surprised to watch my comment publish in front of my very own eyes!

So I hunted around for a plugin to install here, and what do you know, it’s called Ajax Comments. Mine doesn’t do it as smoothly at present, there are some things I have to check out (like CAPTCHA) to see if I can get the same effect, but I just want to throw a ‘hey thanks’ over to William Teach for all that he does!

And DUH, CAPTCHA isn’t as easy to install.

The temporary Flight 93 memorial

This is a reminder of what we’re talking about when we’re saying that the new proposed memorial design to the victims - all of the victims, including the terrorists - is a hijacking of the 93 memorial project. Although a lot of people don’t like the religious connotations in memorials, this is, after all, a grave site or a cemetery. But as you can see from the items left behind by visitors and loved ones, it represents a lot more that isn’t even addressed in the new design that really needs to be expressed somehow in a true memorial to the victims and not the hijackers.

And it represents what’s heroic and courageous about Americans.

Take a look at these pictures and try to imagine that soon an Islamic flag will be staked out on this site. A claim for Islamic terrorism in North America. This will be a blot on our history that will be difficult to remove. It memorializes the terrorists instead of the victims who are characterized as ‘angels’ today. Where people have left the message “God Bless America”….not “Allah claims this country” or an open invitation to muslims in North America to make a pilgrimage to the North American version of the open air mosque in Saudi Arabia.

memorial.jpg

In this picture, whether you recognize it or not, there is a CROSS on the right hand side, and the 40 individuals who lost their lives fighting the 4 terrorists for control of the cockpit have their names inscribed on them. You can see them to the left of the picture above, and here is a closer view of them:

angels.jpg

They are depicted as ANGELS….not infidels, as they are in the Crescent of Embrace design, cast out of the Islamic heavens.

Forty slate angels grace the memorial site - each marked with the name of one of the forty heroes of Flight 93. A nearby angel plaque reads:

“Few can begin to understand what drives
men to such acts of desperation.
But the World must now know
the resolve of this great nation is both
unshakeable and unstoppable.

This ordinary Americans took
extraordinary steps to help their
fellow Americans and by doing so
gave the greatest sacrifice.

And so these Angels of Freedom stand
not as a memorial to those who died,
But rather as a celebration of their lives
for which we will be forever in their debt.

God Bless the Families and Friends of the
True Heroes of September 11, 2001.”

This simple memorial means more to the American people than the millions of dollars thrown at it to make an Islamic memorial to the terrorists; it represents right now what the American people feel. At one point on the fence on the right, someone has even left a WEDDING RING:

wedding_ring.jpg

And a wedding ring is another symbol of something that is un islamic; one can only imagine who the individual was who left it there with the rosary….

Flight 93 Temporary Memorial

I am ashamed at the people who have led the memorial project who’ve suppressed Alec Rawls information; the terrorist abetters and apologists who can’t face the simple facts or refuse even to acknowledge them. Shame on them for what they’re doing to the memory of the flight and crew of Flight 93.

Green Berets cleared in Afghan killing

Filed under: Afghanistan, Iraq & Military , General @ 6:41 am

Fayarteville Observer from September 28:

Maj. Gen. Thomas R. Csrnko has dismissed all charges against two Fort Bragg Special Forces who killed an “enemy combatant” who was “under the control of friendly forces” in Afghanistan.

Capt. Dave Staffel and Master Sgt. Troy Anderson were accused of premeditated murder in the shooting of Nawab Buntangyar on Oct. 13, 2006, at the village of Ster Kalay near the Pakistan border.

Witnesses at an Article 32 hearing — held to determine whether the soldiers should be court-martialed — testified that Nawab was identified as an enemy who was involved with suicide bombers and posed a threat. The man was within “blast range” of the soldiers. Several witnesses testified that they had little confidence in the competence of the Afghans working with the Special Forces soldiers who were supposed to have control over the man.

Not to worry, though, our guys are getting it full on from the media, people in Congress, and terrorist propaganda which they both buy into. So we can look forward to more of this, I have no doubt. I’m glad that it wasn’t a long stupid thing that was dragged out for weeks, months or years in the media, though.

Nailah Franklin turned up dead

Filed under: General , News , Psycho @ 5:42 pm

nailahfranklin.jpg

Apparently she was a young professional pharamaceutical sales rep for Eli Lilly. She was only 28 years old. She was out to dinner the last time her family talked with her, on Tuesday, September 18th. Although they’d known all of her previous boyfriends, they hadn’t yet met the current one. Apparently they have located the guy, and he had an attorney with him when he was questioned.

He had threatened her about a week before she disappeared.

Look at this beautiful woman; she looked like a movie star. God bless her and her family and I hope they find who did this.

Her body was found in Hammond Indiana not far from where they recovered her car; so badly decomposed they had to identify her through dental records.

More in the Chicago Trib article here, dated today.

Gingrich Won’t Run in 2008

By Sarah Wheaton

Newt Gingrich has sent so many hints pointing in so many different directions that we’re dizzy trying to follow them all. But now, it appears, he’s made up his mind.

Rick Tyler, Mr. Gingrich’s spokesman, confirmed today that the former Republican House speaker has decided against a presidential run in 2008.

Mr. Gingrich was “presented with legal advice this morning,” said Mr. Tyler in a quick phone interview. “There was a choice presented.”

The choice was to remain chairman of his political action committee, American Solutions, or to allow advisers to move forward with an exploratory committee. But he could not, legally, do both, Mr. Tyler explained.

“So Mr. Gingrich made a choice to remain a citizen activist,” he said.

Ruling Points To Search Warrants Without Probable Cause

PORTLAND, Ore. – Two provisions of the USA Patriot Act are unconstitutional because they allow search warrants to be issued without a showing of probable cause, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken ruled that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, as amended by the Patriot Act, “now permits the executive branch of government to conduct surveillance and searches of American citizens without satisfying the probable cause requirements of the Fourth Amendment.”

Portland attorney Brandon Mayfield sought the ruling in a lawsuit against the federal government after he was mistakenly linked by the FBI to the Madrid train bombings that killed 191 people in 2004.

Edwards’s Embrace of Public Money May Be Limited

Faggot

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 — A day after John Edwards said he had decided to participate in public campaign financing as a matter of principle, his campaign manager appeared to scale back the candidate’s initial commitment.

The campaign manager said Mr. Edwards was leaving open the possibility of rejecting public financing for the general election campaign.

Mr. Edwards’s campaign advisers said he had not meant to commit himself for the general election, but the discrepancy added fuel to a debate over why he had abruptly embraced public financing after long signaling that he would not.

OPRAH still makes a boatload of money — more like a cruise shipload. The Queen of Daytime reeled in $260 million between June 2006 and June 2007, a new Forbes.com salary survey shows.

That’s more than $700,000 a day!!!

Winfrey accumulated cash from her daytime show, her satellite radio program, women’s service magazine and the Broadway show The Color Purple, which she produced. She also has stakes in Dr. Phil McGraw’s and Rachael Ray’s syndicated shows.

Confessions of an Ex Truther - brought to my attention by William Teach at Pirate’s Cove

I was a true believer of all this controlled demolition nonsense for a time. I never cared about the physics or the claims of pseudo-”experts.” What always did it for me was the fact that there was never a decent response to any of these questions by the government. Even the hit pieces you’d see on 9/11 were always personal attacks. The mainstream never contested the actual “facts” movies like Loose Change presented.

Or so it seemed. After watching Screw Loose Change, I delved into the world of 9/11 Truth debunking. Among my favorites are the Screw Loose Change Blog and 9/11 Myths Finally, someone was answered all these pertinent questions with something that was a bit foreign to me… facts agreed upon by the experts.

There are no facts in the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Read the rest and leave him some love and encouragement.

unseen footage of 9-11 Flight 175 -South tower

Filed under: General , History , moonbat hysteria @ 11:53 am

Never before seen 9/11 footage of the 2nd plane crashing.

Referred to by William Teach at Pirate’s Cove; “A Truther Quits”, video referred to by Screw Loose Change.

Be careful, this is terribly disturbing as you watch the jumpers and debris falling.

From Screw Loose Change:

It’s about 13 minutes long and appears to start around 8:56 AM on 9-11. The cameraman is standing between the Post Office and WTC 7 about midway through the footage when Flight 175 impacts the South Tower. Unfortunately because of the location they do not get any footage of the plane or the fireball, but they do get the tremendous noise and the sound of large chunks of debris falling around them, which is obviously quite frightening.

Because of the proximity of the camera you really get a feel for how fast those bodies were falling.

Lots of profanity, appropriate but maybe not safe for work. Some of the kooks seem to see something in the North Tower fire just before the plane hits; another points out the rather ironic “Manhattan Demolition” garbage truck that appears at one point.

Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust terrorist propaganda

Filed under: General , History , Terrorism and Islam @ 6:37 am

Alan Dershowitz has an article at Frontpage entitled “Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust Myths”, which details the Mufti of Jeruselum’s support of Hitler, and reveals something that someone in my comments section flatly denied:

It is fair to conclude that the official leader of the Muslims in Palestine, Haj Amin al-Husseini, was a full fledged Nazi war criminal and he was so declared at Nuremberg and sought by Yugoslavia as a war criminal after the war. He escaped to Egypt where he was given asylum and helped to organize many former Nazis and Nazi sympathizers against Israel.

Yes, it was called the Odessa Network.

It is also fair to say that Husseini’s pro-Nazi sympathies and support were widespread among his Palestinian followers, who regarded him as a hero even after the war and the disclosure of his role in Nazi atrocities. According to his biographer,

“Haj Amin’s popularity among the Palestinian Arabs and within the Arab states actually increased more than ever during his period with the Nazis… [because] large parts of the Arab world shared this sympathy with Nazi Germany during the Second World War.”

So…Ahmadinejad’s Goebbel-like propaganda campaign of deception and misinformation has hit critical mass; because in his Columbia University talk he flatly denied any corrolation or connection between the Palestinians and the Nazis.

“…[G]iven this historical event [the Holocaust], if it is a reality, we need to question whether the Palestinian people should be paying for it… “The Palestinian people didn’t commit any crime. They had no role to play in World War II.”

But this falls in line with what the Koran says about killing the infidel: Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191

Husseini incited his pro-Nazi followers with the words “Arise, o sons of Arabia. Fight for your sacred rights. Slaughter Jews wherever you find them. Their spilled blood pleases Allah, our history and religion. That will save our honor.” In 1944, a German-Arab commando unit, under Husseini’s command, parachuted into Palestine and poisoned Tel Aviv’s wells.

A brief clip from the movie “Obsession” further punctuates the point.

global warming sham-redux

Filed under: Environmentalism , General @ 6:26 am

We keep seeing more and more evidence that this global warming thing is a pile of dung.

Steve Milloy has another piece up at Fox entitled ‘Junk Science: How Now Brown Cloud?’ He starts it off by showing how they’ve been hoisted by their own petard:

A new study in the Aug. 2 issue of the British science journal Nature found that the solid particles suspended in the atmosphere (called “aerosols”) that make up “brown clouds” may actually contribute to warmer temperatures — precisely the opposite effect heretofore claimed by global warming alarmists.

“These findings might seem to contradict the general notion of aerosol particles as cooling agents in the global climate system …,” concluded the Nature news article summing up the study.

Based on data collected by unmanned aerial vehicles over the Indian Ocean, researchers from the University of California, San Diego and NASA reported not only that aerosols warmed temperatures, but they also increased atmospheric heating by 50 percent. This warming, they say, may be sufficient to account for the retreat of the Himalayan glaciers.

Uh-oh. That’s a problem for the carbon dioxide freaks who say we have to cut down on our CO2 emissions. Later in the article…

In May, researchers reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that the rate of manmade carbon dioxide emissions was three times greater during 2000 to 2004 than during the 1990s. But while humans may be burning more fossil fuels than ever before, that ever-increasing activity isn’t having any sort of discernible or proportionate impact on global temperatures.

In April, researchers from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that forests in northern regions — those north of the line of latitude that runs through southern Cuba — will warm surface temperatures by an estimated 10 degrees Fahrenheit by the year 2100.

Last October, Swedish researchers reported that cosmic-ray-caused changes in cloud cover over a five-year period can have 85 percent of the temperature effect alleged to have been caused by nearly 200 years of manmade carbon dioxide emissions. They estimated that the temperature effects of cloud cover during the 20th century could be as much as seven times greater than the alleged temperature effect of 200 years worth of additional carbon dioxide and several times greater than that of all additional greenhouse gases combined.

Would it be considered “piling on” to remind Congress that last year’s hurricane season predictions — that is, a 95 percent chance of a very active season — turned out to be a total bust? If hurricane experts armed with supercomputers can’t predict a regional storm season six months into the future, why would anyone think that they can project global climate trends for the next 100 years?

bwahahaha!

For a reasonable person, this would seem impossible.

But for the global warming religion, you must have extraordinary blind faith to the religion!

leftist taxonomy

Filed under: Environmentalism , General , Psycho @ 6:12 am

When I thought the world couldn’t get any weirder with leftist separation from reality, I found this over at Moonbattery.com, Van Helsing’s place.

Some crazy Austrians are trying to get a chimpanzee legally declared a person. But what it boils down to is their campaign to prevent the animal from becoming “homeless”, asking that a ‘guardian’ be appointed for it. Presumably so the “guardian” can get some kind of government benefits. Because this “person” costs quite a bit of money per month to maintain; €4,800 ($6,800) per month!!!

Meanwhile, since we’ve obviously been transported to blind Idiotaria where moonbats come swooping out of their caves to influence us all, let’s take Van Helsing’s first lesson in moonbat taxonomy. Listen up, class:

A person:

haislthe26yearoldchimp.jpg

Not a person.

humanfetus.jpg

This is devastatingly nonsensical. This is what was pointed out to me in a discussion forum years ago when I was trying to wrap my head around the concept of PETA and the ‘animal rights’ people. They honestly believe there is no difference between the rights of animals and humans, and if given the chance to save one or the other, they’d have to think about it.

But as we know from Roe Vs. Wade, it appears as though animals have the advantage.
