Melanie Morgan cut from KSFO

Filed under: General @ 4:56 pm
(SAN FRANCISCO) – Renowned radio personality and national conservative leader, Melanie Morgan, delivered her final broadcast on talk radio powerhouse KSFO 560 AM today – Monday, March 3, 2008.

The owner of KSFO radio, Citadel Broadcasting, decided not to renew Morgan’s contract as part of the company’s announced across-the-board financial cost cutting.

Melanie Morgan has been a fixture on KSFO for the past 14 years, enjoying a run from 1994-2008 that far exceeded industry standards for longevity. During that time, Morgan emerged as one of the nation’s most dynamic conservative activists, using the radio airwaves to motivate listeners who shared her passion to take action and fight for causes important to them.

Life goes on, and for Melanie, I’m sure only bigger and better things are in store. The Radio Equalizer has been following the Citadel’s financial problems.

Sometimes we outgrow our old digs, and we have to look for new opportunities to continue challenging us. Melanie is-and has been- standing up to that challenge, even before she lost her job at KFSO. I think she deserves huge kudos, hugs and prayers for having the courage to do it, and to keep going on like the energizer bunny - even when the going gets tough.

Although saying good-bye can be a hard thing–and 14 years is certainly a long time–a large part of the country is with her, because of her work with Move America Forward.

Melanie Morgan is a force of nature…and a force of nature can’t be reined in, turned off, or stopped. God has a plan, as she said to me in an email…and only time will reveal what that is.

God bless her!

the Park District and the Mosque Foundation

Filed under: General , Terrorism and Islam @ 3:23 pm

All of this came together because I was reading up on Rezko and Obama at Rezkowatch.

Back in 2006, Hamas members Oussama Jamal and Jamal Said joined in ribbon cutting at terror park dedication with mayor and city officials

MIM: In what seems more a bribe then donation Chicago’s Mayor Daley cut the ribbon to a park ‘funded’ by the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation at the same time that Mohammed Salah, one of their prominent members is on trial for terrorism and membership in Hamas.

In the case of the Flight 93 Memorial, which is a mosque memorial to the 9/11 hijackers, people have been up in arms about the idea that the design for the memorial could have numerous Islamic terrorist memorializing features.

Yet, they don’t blink an eye when someone like Mayor Daley or President Bush give people like this legitimacy. Included in this garden is an Islamic astralobe, which gives the orientation to Mecca.

MIM:Talat Othman, the head of the CIOCG the Council of Islamic Organisations of Greater Chicago was also present at the groundbreaking ceremony:

MIM: Talat Othman, who was co found of the Council of Islamic Organisations of Greater Chicago, whose director Talat Sunbulli, sits on the board of the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation, ( a known terrorist headquarters), has also been linked to Mohammed Salah, who was convicted of helping to finance the murder of the American teenager David Boim who was shot to death by Hamas terrorists while waiting for a bus home from school.

The court awarded the Boim family $156 million dollars in damages . The Islamic Association of Palestine (the American wing of Hamas) which was also ordered to pay compensation for the murder closed their website down

Talat Othman’s financial holdings were also cited during Operation Greenquest, a massive law enforcement sweep which targetted terrorism funding via businesses, organisations and individuals in the United States

I would like to see this…and the design of it. The idea of this is totally chilling to me…

And…many of the same people involved in the Rezko trial have donated to Obama’s campaign; there is an interesting crossover.
