Obama supporters at anti-war rallies

Somewhere I saw a picture of an Obama campaign car driving around the block at an anti-war protest. At the time, when I saw it, I thought to myself - ‘cmon. With the ideological background of Obama, his connection to terrorism/Iraq/Rezko/Hamas, etc., there have to be quite a few Obama supporters on the anti-war radical side.’ Considering his minions on the internet and how they’ve been stalking Larry Sinclair, it only stands to reason they’d be in the streets chanting the same slogans as International ANSWER.

After looking at Zombie’s photos, my theory was confirmed.

san-francisco_moonbat_10.jpg

san-francisco_moonbat_11.jpg

san-francisco_moonbat_12.jpg

Of course, these pictures also describe where meatbrain is coming from…I remember Rurik, an expert on Russian history, talking about how at Winter Soldier II, IVAW members and their old VVAW guards and mentors were disparaging Pelosi and the other democrats, falling short of talking ‘revolution’. Yet, anti-war demonstrators make no bones about it.

A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words…

It ain’t called moonbattery for nothing, they obviously haven’t studied history enough to know the real-life (not science fiction fantasy) ramifications of a successful socialist revolution, and overthrowing our current system.

It certainly gives a different meaning to the ‘change’ Obama and his miinions yearn for.

Fitna, the movie

Filed under: Music, Books, Film , Terrorism and Islam @ 4:56 pm

Geert Wilder’s new film.

As seen at Michelle Malkin’s website and numerous other websites…

Ezra Levant:

The film isn’t particularly groundbreaking — there is no original footage. What’s novel is its juxtaposition of warlike passages from the Koran, with jihadist exhortations from European imams, with footage of terrorist carnage. It’s an effective piece — and a warning of what’s yet to come.

UPDATE: As of midnight ET, the clip had been seen by 1.5 million people in English, and 2.5 million in its original Dutch. That’s how the marketplace of ideas works, especially when threatened by medieval censorship. I’m sure Wilders’ film would have been popular without all the fatwas against it; but I doubt it would have been seen by 100 people per second. And congratulations to Liveleak, the Internet site that hosted the movie. Not only did they do a brisk business, but they stood up for freedom of speech, something YouTube/Google seems to get worse at every year.

This describes very plainly what we’re up against. And I don’t know how you can look at this and not come away with the thought that ‘terrorist’ is how they describe themselves…and that is what we should be calling them.

Robert Spencer asks, will Muslims rage against the truth?

My question is…will their aiding and abetting supporters rage against the truth?

heh. But then, why should today be different than any other?

What’s depicted in the film is what Code Pink supports; being that they sent $600,000 worth of money and supplies to the terrorists in Fallujah.

Meanwhile…back at the ranch…

The FBI is now involved in the theft of a car after it was found in Los Lunas with an explosive device and Iraqi currency inside

FBI agents say that they have ruled out terrorism.

The car was reported stolen last week. After the theft, the car’s owner was fueling his motorcycle when he spotted his stolen car….

The car’s owner pulled the keys out of the ignition of his stolen car and the people in the car fled.

When police arrived, they found the explosive device and less than $1,000 worth of Iraqi cash.

“We don’t know what their intentions were,” said Nuanes. “We don’t know what they were planning on doing with any of this.”…

Emphasis mine. Via Robert Spencer again, at Jihadwatch.

The world is in sane, mostly due to consistent moonbattery that doesn’t dare declare the intentions of a terrorist…”terrorism”.

Update:

fitnaliveleak1.JPG

fitnaliveleak2.JPG

fitnaliveleak3.JPG

Not to worry, FITNA is up elsewhere, and we should continue to promote it; particularly in light of this horrifying development.

Here’s a torrent link to Fitna, and another TOR link for Fitna.

it’s no wonder they opposed the Iraq invasion…

Back in 2002, Democrat Senators Jim McDermott, Mike Thompson and David Bonior went on an all expenses trip to Iraq, paid for by Saddam Hussein.

The Baghdad Democrats -Stephen Hayes

AP:

Federal prosecutors say Saddam Hussein’s intelligence agency secretly financed a trip to Iraq for three U.S. lawmakers during the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion.

An indictment in Detroit accuses Muthanna Al-Hanooti of arranging for three members of Congress to travel to Iraq in October 2002 at the behest of Saddam’s regime. Prosecutors say Iraqi intelligence officials paid for the trip through an intermediary.

In exchange, Al-Hanooti allegedly received 2 million barrels of Iraqi oil.

The lawmakers are not mentioned but the dates correspond to a trip by Democratic Reps. Jim McDermott of Washington, David Bonior of Michigan and Mike Thompson of California. There was no indication the three lawmakers knew the trip was underwritten by Saddam.

HA! “There was no indication the three lawmakers knew the trip was underwritten by Saddam.” Is that so.???

Well at least we know that Saddam’s oil was put to use beyond George Galloway’s ridiculous fake charity, the Miriam Appeal…it was spread out among OTHER America-haters besides George Galloway.

These lawmakers came back from that trip to Baghdad spouting the lies of Saddam’s regime…

On October 25, McDermott received a check for $5,000 from Shakir al-Khafaji.

Debbie Schlussel points out that she’s been writing about this as far back as 2003. And that Al-Hanooti, is not only a “former chief of CAIR-Michigan” but “was indicted for acting as a spy for Saddam Hussein in America.”

To me and anyone who followed the story and read a newspaper, that isn’t news. In fact, the indictment is far too little, far too late. The indictment says that a trip taken by three Congressmen–liberal Democrats Jim McDermott, David Bonior, and Mike Thompson–to Iraq in 2002, was funded by Saddam Hussein, using a third party to arrange the financing, and Al-Hanooti to put the trip together. Again, not news, since I wrote about it repeatedly on this site and also in The New York Post as far back as 2003.

Back to McDermott’s $5,000 gift for his ‘legal expense trust’ from Al-Hanooti:

The money, first reported by Amy Keller in Roll Call, had been deposited in an account for the McDermott Legal Expense Trust, a fund the congressman set up to pay legal bills in a lawsuit brought against him by Rep. John Boehner. (In 1996, McDermott had released to the media the transcript of a phone conversation between Boehner and Newt Gingrich, taped by a Florida couple.)

No one has accused McDermott of being a mouthpiece for Saddam Hussein simply for financial reasons.

I don’t know why not…

Indeed, McDermott has been saying stupid things for years with no evidence anyone has paid him to do so. A spokesman for McDermott says he “doesn’t know off the top of [his] head” whether McDermott has plans to return the money.

Riiiight. In other words, another possible explanation is …he’s a ‘useful idiot’…and like Barack Obama, was very willing to take money from extremists associated with Saddam’s Iraq..which seems to be a pattern with democrats. (Did Obama ever return the money HE received from Rezko and Rezko’s Saddam-connected Islamic fundraisers?)

The formidable task of sifting through the mountains of documents Saddam’s regime left behind is only beginning. Many of the answers at this point are obscured by more questions.

But George Galloway most assuredly wasn’t the only person lining his pockets by defending Saddam Hussein. Journalists and diplomats and businessmen have been doing it for years. Their stories will be told.

Although they won’t be told by the terrorist-loving MSM any time soon…

See David Horowitz: “The March to Save Saddam Hussein”. Those people who were paid by Saddam’s regime to talk his regime’s talking points are no different than the communists and other totalitarian supporters who promote Iraqi Baathist style propaganda during the pre-invasion period:

myths about starving children and about alleged mercernary interests behind American policy; all of them had one purpose — to disarm the American force already in the Middle East and allow Saddam to fight another day.

Fortunate for us, it didn’t work, Saddam was deposed and eventually captured and hung by the Iraqis themselves.

Still, it gives us another glimpse into the true motivation behind what the democrats are doing and have done regarding pandering to our enemies.

But I thought Islam denies there is a trinity. Wright’s church is loaded with problems….the biggest its overt connections to radical muslim groups. The huge Islamic crescent here is yet another reason for pause…about Obama’s 20-something year relationship with Wright and Trinity.

Being they put Hamas’ manifesto in their newsletter, visually, it follows that other symbols related to this outfit are more related to Islam than they are to Christianity.

Not to mention Wright’s recent award to Louis Farrakhan, which helps one draw the same conclusion.

Why are they so determined to shut down the voices of these military men who’ve BEEN THERE and know what is at stake; and the people who support them?

liberal pansy coward hits a girl

They behave this way because they’re emasculated latte sipping commies who have no respect for people who disagree with them; and because they don’t conform to societal norms. In reality, they REJECT societal norms because they’re trying to engineer a “new” or “open” society where criminals like this guy run free and normal people hide behind locked doors….similar to what they did in Soviet Russia.

What’s interesting to me is the fact that a man like this wouldn’t be afraid of a backlash in his brazen attempt to assault Skye’s free speech.

But slapping someone for holding a different opinion is hardly the type of behavior that would convince someone that his point is valid. Our side is law abiding; their side is not. Our side loves their country, their side is comprised of self-loathing America-haters and self appointed victims who belong to an assortment of what they consider to be ‘oppressed groups’.

Look at this guy; he thinks he’s a frenchman.

protestorarrested6-1.jpg

This is the weenie that hit Skye and was arrested for having done so.

What. No pink beret? No Che Tshirt?

My intention was to provide readers with a video of him doing the dirty deed–but for some reason it is no longer up either at Liveleak or at youtube.

Here it is:

He was irritated when someone called him a ‘leftard’…and then turned around and hit Skye, saying ‘get that camera out of my face!’ Someone pointed out that it was very mature of him to call someone immature and then turn around and hit a girl. If he were in kindergarten, I wonder if he’d get a ‘time out’.

Just like what ANSWER really stands for…

It doesn’t really matter if it’s a Minuteman protest, or an anti-war demonstration - their behavior is despicable, either way.

This is in reality what we’re facing; everyone should be prepared for these thugs; even if they look like harmless metrosexual frenchmen.

We need to develop some kind of a strategy to counter these people while staying within the confines of the law. The problem is: they don’t care what the laws are–they want to overthrow our system.

So how do you oppose someone and protect your own safety when your oposition breaks all the rules while we’re supposed to follow them? The police are of little help until AFTER THE FACT…and in some cases, they ignore calls for help!!! (That happened in Berkeley when the police hung up on people who were calling for help/protection from these people!)

Maybe taking some kind of self defense instruction would help…although it pains me that it’s even necessary.

Flight 93 Memorial Blogburst: Petition

Petition for Congressional investigation

Blogburst logo, no accident

A petition to stop the crescent memorial is now being circulated on the ground in western Pennsylvania. As a complement to this old fashioned canvassing effort, an electronic petition has also been created at ipetitions.com. Please circulate far and wide!

The petitions highlight four cases of apparent Islamic symbolism in the memorial design. Here is the text (electronic):

Call for Congressional investigation of Islamic symbolism in the Flight 93 memorial

Many features of the chosen Flight 93 Memorial design are intolerable:

1. THE GIANT CRESCENT. The centerpiece of the original “Crescent of Embrace” design was a giant red Islamic shaped crescent. Every particle of this original crescent design remains completely intact in the so-called redesign, which only added a few irrelevant trees. The giant crescent is still there.

2. IT POINTS TO MECCA. The giant crescent points to Mecca. A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is called a “mihrab,” and is the central feature around which every mosque is built. The Flight 93 Memorial is on track to become the world’s largest mosque.

3. THE ISLAMIC SUNDIAL. The minaret-like Tower of Voices is a year-round accurate Islamic prayer-time sundial (one of many typical mosque features that are realized in the crescent design, all on the same epic scale as the half mile wide central crescent).

4. THE 44 BLOCKS. There are 44 glass blocks on the flight path, equaling the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists.

Intentional or not, these features are entirely unacceptable. This travesty must stop and investigations must begin.

1) We the undersigned call on our state and federal legislators to undertake their own thorough and independent investigations of the Flight 93 Memorial design. The truth must come out.

2) We ask that the crescent design be scraped entirely and that it be replaced with a new design that is not tainted by Islamic or terrorist memorializing symbolism.

3) We demand a fitting and proper memorial that HONORS the brave men and women of Flight 93.

Please take a minute to electronically sign this petition. All signatures collected by the end of April will be printed out and delivered to the May 3rd public meeting of the Memorial Project, along with Xeroxes of the hand-signed petitions.

That is just the start. There will be another public meeting in August, where we hope to present a much larger pile of petitions, and all signatures will eventually be delivered to the Pennsylvania state legislature and to Congress. Keep sending until the crescent design is stopped!

In the short term, we have a number of supporters in the Pennsylvania legislature at this point who are working to gain backing for an investigation. A demonstration of public demand should help that effort.

The paper petition

In order to make the paper petition self-sufficient, there is a second page, to be printed on the back of the petition, that provides explanations and graphical documentation of the four highlighted cases of Islamic symbolism. The idea is to have a petition that can circulate virally. Anyone can print it out and have enough information right on the petition itself to know that the objections are legitimate. (Mailing instructions are also included.)

Here are the back-side explanations of the four intolerable features:

1. THE GIANT CRESCENT

The original Crescent of Embrace design was a giant Islamic shaped crescent with the crash site placed between the crescent tips, in the position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag:

Crescent and flag22%

The redesign was supposed to eliminate these Islamic symbol shapes, but as Congressman Tom Tancredo wrote to the Park Service in November 2007, these features remain completely intact in the so-called redesign, which only disguised the crescent with a few additional trees. Architect Paul Murdoch’s refusal to eliminate the Islamic symbol shapes suggests intent, but intentional or not, these symbol shapes are unacceptable. Congressman Tancredo is now calling for the crescent design to be scrapped in its entirety, and we join in that request.

2. IT POINTS TO MECCA

Several credible analysts have found that a person facing directly into the giant crescent (still present in the redesign) will be facing almost exactly at Mecca:

60%SizeMeccaOrientationGraphic

The green “qibla” circle in the graphic above is from the prayer-direction calculator at Islam.com. It shows the direction to Mecca from Somerset PA (ten miles from the crash site). The red arrow shows that a person standing between the crescent tips and facing into the center of the crescent will be facing almost exactly at Mecca.

This Mecca orientation claim must be authoritatively investigated and answered. If it is true that the crescent points to Mecca, and hence can serve as an Islamic prayer direction indicator (the central feature around which every mosque is built), then whether this construct was intentional or not, it indelibly taints the design.

3. THE ISLAMIC SUNDIAL

Anyone can see the overt similarity between a traditional Islamic sundial (left-hand image) and Tower of Voices part of the Flight 93 Memorial (right-hand image):

SundialComposite65%

When the shadow of the traditional sundial reaches the outer curved vertical in this photo, it will be time for Islamic afternoon prayers. Shadow calculations confirm that, on any day of the year, when the shadow of the 93 foot tall crescent shaped Tower of Voices reaches the inner arc of trees, it will also be time for Islamic afternoon prayers.

4. THE FORTY-FOUR BLOCKS

Tom Burnett Sr. does not want Tom Junior’s name inscribed on one of the 44 translucent blocks that are to be emplaced along the flight path. Forty-four is the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists:

MemorialWallPlus44thBlock30%

The left side of this graphic shows the Memorial Wall, which follows the path of Flight 93 down to the point of impact. At eye level are 43 glass blocks. Forty are inscribed with the names of the 40 heroes. Three are inscribed with the 9/11 date.

Right-hand image: the 44th glass block sits at the end of the Entry Portal Walkway, where the flight path crosses the upper crescent tip. It marks the spot where, in architect Paul Murdoch’s description, the terrorists broke our humanitarian circle, turning it into a giant (Islamic shaped) crescent. This circle-breaking, crescent-creating feat is memorialized by the inscription: “A field of honor forever.”

The Park Service dismisses the suspicious block count on the grounds that the 44th glass block is much larger than the others. Mr. Burnett is not comforted by the magnificence of the 44th block, and neither are we. This design must be stopped, and investigations must be launched!

Other petition formats

The same four intolerable features are described in the annotated “Map of Betrayal” that was the subject of one of last month’s blogbursts. Thus the map makes a perfectly serviceable back side for the petition, providing an alternative petition/flyer combination.

The information on the map is denser than the explanations above, but has its own intrigue, showing how the different terrorist memorializing parts fit together like an elaborate puzzle.

The petition being circulated on the ground now in Pennsylvania is still another variation. It has slightly different wording than the electronic petition, and slightly different explanations of the four points than presented above. All the different formats are interchangeable. They all highlight the same four objectionable features, and they will all be delivered together to state and federal legislators.

Until we get a Congressional investigation, the petition will be an ongoing tool for raising awareness and registering opposition. If you participate in any activist fora or email lists, please forward the text and links along. (The electronic and paper-petition links are collected together on this petition Page at CrescentOfBetrayal.com.)

Vets For Freedom play to standing room only crowd

See more, here.

Despite what the Demoscummic Underpants tried to pull off…. Vets for Freedom played to a standing-room-only crowd. Apparently, calls came in ‘complaining’ about VFF’s scheduled appearance at Forest Lake High School, and the principal of the school cancelled the event.

With an incredible 12 hours’ notice, 200 people showed up at the American Legion — the standing-room-only crowd spilled out into the hallway.

About two-dozen Forest Lake High School students skipped school to attend, holding signs that said “Support the Vets” and “We love our troops.” The outpouring of support from the community in Forest Lake was incredible, and we hope for an even larger crowd at tonight’s event.

Students skip school to see Iraq speech.

“My brother’s in the armed forces…it’s a slap in the face for people with family members in the armed forces.” ~student Elijah Miller

These kids have a right to know what’s going on, despite the democrats’ complete willingness to muzzle or should I say *censor* the opposition.

Bodies of two contractors found

The bodies of John Young and Ronald Withrow were found in or near Basra. The fate of the others is yet unknown. John Young was with Crescent Security and Ronald Withrow was with JPI Worldwide.

Pray for their families, and also for the families of the other contractors who were kidnapped in 2006:

Paul Reuben of Minneapolis
Jonathon Cote of Getzville, N.Y.
Joshua Munns of Redding, Calif.
Bert Nussbaumer of Vienna, Austria.

Malkin has a nice roundup post on this.

Update: More bodies found.

An even sadder update 3/27/08: Josh Munns and Paul Reuben’s remains have been identified. They are awaiting the test results on a third body that’s been recovered.

May God help their families through this terrible time.

Anti-war protest during EASTER Catholic Mass
