Just got back from DePaul

It might be the land of his ancestors, but it would appear none of them bothered to learn how to spell. When I pointed out the mis-spelling of ‘ancesters’ the little guy called me ’sexist’. HUH?

Just got back from DePaul. Jake and MJ are still there - they got the ‘inside scoop’ because they are in the inside - and the media and the public are closed out of the minuteman speech; it is for DePaul students only because the socialists called up with threats. When we left, they were chanting their silly chants and making some pretty unbelievable claims.

Footage and a few pictures to follow shortly.

Jake and MJ will have some up, too, but I’m sure they’ll be getting home a lot later than me.

I particularly liked this sign:

But of course, the people who supported the minutemen were soft spoken while the socialists were rude and getting all the attention.

Lots of media was there - and I guess they were having a fit over Simcox’s speech not being a public event.

But in a way the socialists still got their way; they limited the free speech of someone who has every right to be heard.

TSO’s response to koran shooting kaffar soldier “straining relations”

Priceless.

The article:

BAGHDAD — A soldier used a Koran, the Islamic holy book, for target practice in a predominantly Sunni area west of Baghdad, prompting an apology from the military, a spokesman said Sunday.

Separately, mortar shells slammed into a residential area north of Baghdad, killing at least four people and wounding 30, most of them children playing outside, officials said Sunday.

The shelling occurred as clashes broke out in Shiite areas late Saturday despite a truce reached last week by Shiite politicians and followers of anti-U.S. cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

Iraqi police found the bullet-riddled Koran with graffiti inside the cover on a small-arms range near a police station in Radwaniyah, a former insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad, U.S. military spokesman Col. Bill Buckner said.

American commanders then launched an inquiry that led to disciplinary action against the soldier, who has been removed from Iraq, Buckner said.

The action, which happened May 9 and was discovered two days later, threatened to further strain relations between the Americans and Sunni allies who have joined forces with them against Al Qaeda in Iraq in Radwaniyah and other areas.

Part of TSO’s response:

So let me get this straight: A Kuffar using a Koran for target practice threatens to strain relations, but a bunch of Muslims dumping mortar rounds into a group of civilians (mostly children) is okey dokey?

Read the whole thing. If the muslims would stop killing each other, that would be a step in the right direction. Notice that the IVAW’s claims about our guys killing Iraqis is a little bit far-fetched if you read even the terrorist toting media reports.
