Mancow: “I’m gonna take a sledge-hammer to it” “You’ll go to jail for it?” “Absolutely”

Blogburst logo, petition

Radio talk show host Mancow Muller is asking his listeners to help SHUT DOWN the crescent memorial to Flight 93. (Audio 27 seconds.)

Mancow describes how the giant crescent points to Mecca, and how the four terrorists are consistently placed in the symbolic Islamic heavens (the crescent and star parts of the design), while the 40 heroes are consistently depicted as symbolically damned (placed outside of the symbolic Islamic heavens). Good stuff (1 min, 21 sec).

“You have to see it to understand…” says the pro-war libertarian host, directing his listeners to CrescentOfBetrayal.com where they can find pictures like this (a familiar sight for our blogburst readers):

40 tortured souls, 60%

The Tower of Voices. 40 symbolic souls, literally dangling down below an Islamic shaped crescent, soaring in the sky overhead.

Using Islamic symbol shapes invites an Islamic interpretation, and in Islam, if you don’t go to heaven, you go to hell (the fate of ALL unbelievers). Forty symbolic souls, never to rest in peace, gonging for eternity in their symbolic Islamic damnation.

Mancow on civil disobedience

Congressman Tancredo was scheduled to come on Tuesday’s show, but got stuck in a hearing. Near the end of the show, Mancow says Tancredo will be rescheduled, then he lays it on the line. He thinks his show and his listeners have the power stop this atrocity from being built, but if the crescent memorial does get built, he is going to take a sledgehammer to it. They can send him to jail. At that point it won’t matter. There are limits to what Americans should stand by for (1 min, 21 sec).

Last week’s show was good too, with segments from Tom Burnett Sr. (45 sec) and Alec Rawls (2 min, 49 sec). (Alec also did an hour long interview with Tracy at No Compromise blog radio last week. To listen, scroll down to May 15th.)

Or just click on this embed show:

Robert Spencer

An unexpected extra came in the middle of Tuesday’s show when Robert Spencer was on to talk about Islam. Mancow asked what Spencer thought about this memorial controversy and Robert stepped up with another piece of the expose, pointing out that the 9/11 date is to be placed on the center line of the giant crescent, in exactly the position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag. (43 seconds.)

Exactly right. The date goes to the star on the Islamic flag. The date goes to the terrorists. Graphical proof here (“Terrorist memorializing feature #1″.)

With the difficulty of getting just the Mecca orientation across, the discussion almost never reaches these other explosive details. How does Mr. Spencer find the time to be so knowledgeable about so many things? You da MAN Robert!

Pilgrimage to Somerset

When Mancow is able to reschedule the two Tom’s, Tom Burnett says he is going to urge listeners who want to visit the memorial to plan for the weekend of August 2nd, when the Memorial Project is scheduled to have its next public meeting. Then they can help protest the crescent design, and anyone can sign up to speak during the public comment period.

Maybe we can even get Mancow to make the pilgrimage, and if Congressman Tancredo will call for a Congressional investigation, we just might be able to ram the food cart through the cockpit door. Just do it baby. Let’s roll.

The jihadists admit defeat in Iraq

The Jihadists Admit Defeat in Iraq - The Talisman Gate - Frontpage Magazine - May 21, 2008

ooh this one is delicious. I’ll be looking for that satire site in comments on this one.

A prolific jihadist sympathizer has posted an ‘explosive’ study on one of the main jihadist websites in which he laments the dire situation that the mujaheddin (read mufsiduun) find themselves in Iraq by citing the steep drop in the number of insurgent operations conducted by the various jihadist groups, most notably Al-Qaeda’s 94 percent decline in operational ability over the last 12 months when only a year and half ago Al-Qaeda accounted for 60 percent of all jihadist activity.

Wow. What is even more important is this:

[…]this defeat is not only a tactical one for the jihadists; this defeat is strategic in essence since it snuffs out their dream of resurrecting the caliphate, the raison d’être of modern jihad.

Aww. I’ll bet meatbrain is disappointed.

1_chart.png

2chart.png

A stunning admission of defeat:

The author tallies up and compares the numbers of operations claimed by each insurgent group under four categories: a year and half ago (November 2006), a year ago (May 2007), six months ago (November 2007) and now (May 2008). He demonstrated that while Al-Qaeda’s Islamic State of Iraq could claim 334 operations in Nov. 06 and 292 in May 07, their violent output dropped to 25 in Nov. 07 and 16 so far in May 08. Keep in mind that these assessments are based on Al-Qaeda’s own numbers.

bwahahahaha!

Thus, not only is America defeating Al-Qaeda militarily in Iraq but it is also squashing the grand jihadist vision for a caliphate that the Islamic State of Iraq stood for. This point is critical: in this ideological war, victory can only come about when the ideology of the opponent is negated and proven unworkable. The fight in Iraq is doing just that.

I’m not saying that the jihadists won’t keep trying to find a workable formula for the caliphate elsewhere, but for now they have been dealt a severe demoralizing blow.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it all ye calling for a hasty withdrawal.

Un.Be.Lievable; yet true! In the jihadists’ own figures and neatly-put-together charts!

April, 2008 - Iraq the Model:

Al-Qaeda in Iraq: Determined but Desperate

Instead of killing security forces and “awakening” fighters only (whom al-Qaeda calls collaborators) the murderous crimes reached civilians who had nothing to do with the whole conflict. Although one attack targeted a funeral of two “awakening” members, the actual victims were noncombatant mourners.

These crimes demonstrate that the principles and values that al-Qaeda touted are false and that the old ways have failed. Otherwise al-Qaeda wouldn’t have switched to terrorizing fellow Sunnis instead of promising mansions in heaven and dozens of virgins.

who the hell is this YEE guy?

Read this and watch the video - 2 minutes of what Gateway Pundit calls ‘white hot moonbattery’.

It’s hard to listen through to the end, and it’s only 2 minutes.

Somebody verify his story please….it just stinks to high heaven.

One thing we know that Yee and Obama have in common is their Islamic interests. Yee converted to Islam in Syria and was an Islamic Chaplain in the Army… and married a “palestinian”.

Success in Iraq: A Media Blackout

Filed under: Afghanistan, Iraq & Military @ 6:15 pm

Success in Iraq: A Media Blackout - is a piece by Ralph Peters at the New York Post. As he and others have mentioned on numerous occasions, our success in Iraq isn’t something the media want to cover; it’s the failures that are given front page headlines.

May 20, 2008 — DO we still have troops in Iraq? Is there still a conflict over there? If you rely on the so-called mainstream media, you may have difficulty answering those questions these days. As Iraqi and Coalition forces pile up one success after another, Iraq has magically vanished from the headlines. Want a real “inconvenient truth?” Progress in Iraq is powerful and accelerating.

Raise the flag and cheer “hurrah!” Where are the ticker tape parades? WE ARE WINNING!!!! Wouldn’t you love to see at least one headline that proudly trumpets that news from the hilltops?

To be fair to the quit-Iraq-and-save-the-terrorists media, they have covered a few recent stories from Iraq:

* When a rogue US soldier used a Koran for target practice, journalists pulled out all the stops to turn it into “Abu Ghraib, The Sequel.” Unforgivably, the Army handled the situation well. The “atrocity” didn’t get the traction the whorespondents hoped for.

* When a battered, bleeding al Qaeda managed to set off a few bombs targeting Sunni Arabs who’d turned against terror, that, too, received delighted media play.

* As long as Baghdad-based journalists could hope that the joint US-Iraqi move into Sadr City would end disastrously, we were treated to a brief flurry of headlines.

* A few weeks back, we heard about another Iraqi company - 100 or so men - who declined to fight. The story was just delicious, as far as the media were concerned.

Then tragedy struck: As in Basra the month before, absent-without-leave (and hiding in Iran) Muqtada al Sadr quit under pressure from Iraqi and US troops. The missile and mortar attacks on the Green Zone stopped. There’s peace in the streets.

And so he hides in Iran as his minions lose. Peace in the streets is only a tragedy for those cheering the terrorists on. But for regular Americans, this is a major victory and *wowsers*, we should be spreading the good news around in every which way we can, and putting it on the MSM’s blogs and in the comments sections on their articles. And we should especially find time to thank our veterans with Memorial Day approaching.

Today, Iraqi soldiers, not militia thugs, patrol the lanes of Sadr City, where waste has replaced roadside bombs as the greatest danger to careless footsteps. US advisers and troops support the effort, but Iraq’s government has taken another giant step forward in establishing law and order.

There goes the notion that the IVAW likes to spread around - that Americans are killing innocent Iraqis; Iraqis themselves are standing up and defending their streets. With the Anbar Awakening that was such a disappointment to Bin Laden he was compelled to reference it in one of his speeches, it is not surprising that Iraqis have stood up. This is one of the reasons I’m so proud of the work of Pat Dollard who spent months in Iraq documenting the ‘other side’ of what Michael Moore depicted in his Fahrenheit 9/11 film.

My fellow Americans, have you read or seen a single interview with any of the millions of Iraqis in Sadr City or Basra who are thrilled that the gangster militias are gone from their neighborhoods?

No, sadly, no. But wouldn’t that be something if they started to realize this bias is the very reason they’re not selling papers and people are turning away from the MSM? Or…is our defeat so important to them that they will continue singing the terrorists’ praises to fewer and fewer readers/listeners/viewers?

this article will be appearing tomorrow at the Talon.

Chicago tribune’s Rex W. Huppke lied

Filed under: MSM and Propaganda @ 4:58 pm

In this article, Rex Huppke of the Chicago Tribune tries to make RACE the reason why Obama didn’t win in Kentucky.

The funny thing is; Terry Jordan, the retired guy who Huppke says runs a year-round garage sale, doesn’t run a year-round garage sale. And Jordan never said what Huppke quoted him as saying:

Terry Jordan, 47, who runs a year-round garage sale in front of an old filling station on Main Street, put it simply: “It’s his color.”

Jordan said when Huppke interviewed him, that he has a ’second mama’ who is a black lady around 80-something years old, and that it’s other things about Obama that bother him; like his muslim background and the fact that he’s dishonest. HE TOLD HUPPKE THAT, so why is it that the story follows this preconceived notion about stereotypical toothless redneck white racists in Kentucky?
To many white voters, race still matters

Once again, the Tribune finds itself totally disconnecting with reality to sell newspapers.

Senator Edward Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor

Filed under: Demonrats , News @ 6:19 am

ABC: Kennedy’s Brain Tumor ‘Very Bad News’

Because of the 76-year-old senator’s age and the fact that the tumor is labeled as malignant, it’s likely a Grade III or IV tumor, according to Dr. Nina Paleologos, chair of the section of neuro-oncology for the American Academy of Neurology.

There is some speculation as to the treatment plan he’ll undergo - as of right now they’re saying he’s in good spirits and was walking around the hospital.

Doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital have not yet released information about the exact type and grade of Kennedy’s tumor. However, the majority of people over the age of 50 have glioblastoma multiforme, a high-grade tumor with a poor prognosis, Brem said, noting that the median survival is less than one year for someone over 60.

I’ve already seen them talking about what the rules are for the Senate to replace a Senator who dies while in office; which seems a little premature to me.

Heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Kennedy family -they sure have been through a lot of scandal and tragedy.

The Socialist Militant at DePaul

Filed under: Open Borders & Immigration @ 6:03 am

Will be updating this post later today with the details on the ICE RAID in Waterloo, Iowa.

The video is one my son and I took when we went to DePaul for their protest against Chris Simcox of the Minutemen. They believe in groupthink; anything that is “different” would mean intellectual diversity - and they DON’T WANT THAT.

ACLU Reaction:

Ben Stone with ACLU of Iowa released this statement Tuesday:

The ACLU of Iowa strongly condemns the unnecessary use of criminal prosecutions to coerce hundreds of foreign-born workers detained in the recent raid in Postville, Iowa into waiving their rights to individually demonstrate why each of them should be allowed to remain in the U.S.

Of the 390 workers reportedly detained, nearly three hundred are from Guatemala, a country known for its human rights abuses. A civil deportation proceeding is the best way to address immigration cases, and each case needs to be handled on an individual basis. By converting the meatpacking plant raid into a mass criminal prosecution, the government is wasting precious legal resources and giving short shrift to the American right of due process, which belongs to all persons, not just citizens.

From the information the ACLU of Iowa has been able to gather, it appears that detainees are not receiving adequate time to meet with their lawyers, and that defense attorneys are being overwhelmed requests to represent far more clients than is advisable - or perhaps even ethical. We are concerned that the sheer size of this raid is likely to result in numerous violations of the U.S. Constitution, which protects the due process rights all persons in this country. It is our understanding that detainees are being threatened with prosecution if they do not waive their right to an individualized deportation hearing and that they may be forced to do so with only minimal opportunity to speak with defense counsel.

While justice delayed is justice denied — justice in haste lays waste.

The ACLU of Iowa recognizes that the United States, like every nation, has the right to control who enters the country, to enforce the integrity of its borders, and to set immigration policy. However, the ACLU of Iowa also believes that this policy needs to be consistent with our American values of fairness, and the tradition of welcoming immigrants. While our government can determine immigration status and enforce immigration laws, it should act fairly, humanely and in accordance with our constitutional norms of due process and equal protection and adhere to U.S. obligations under international law.

ER overload: a survey of the research available shows that uninsured illegal immigrants are an imponderable burden in our nation’s hospitals, in particular emergency rooms.

(May 14)

POSTVILLE — Monday’s immigration raid at Agriprocessors was the result of almost eight months of investigation, according to U.S. Attorney Matt Dummermuth.

The probe included interviews with former illegal workers and an undercover source who landed a job at the plant and sometimes wore a recording device, court records show.

Agents with the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Agriprocessors had 833 workers with suspicious Social Security numbers pulling a paycheck in the third quarter of 2007.

All 833 employees were found to have either used invalid Social Security numbers or numbers not their own, said an application ICE agents submitted to secure a search warrant of the facility.

They completely let some of the women go because of ‘humanitarian concerns’–they had small children.

More footage from DePaul

More footage from the swelling socialist/communist crowd outside the building where Chris Simcox spoke at DePaul. It should be noted that DePaul required the DCA to come up with $2,500 to pay for security from their own students. You would think that DePaul would be required to provide security for anyone who is threatened by extremist groups that is invited to speak at the school by a University Club. After all, this event was closed to the public and was for students only.

The black and white signs that say “NO MORE RAIDS!” and “No One is Illegal!” “The Workers Struggle Has No Borders” are from Obrero Socialista - the Socialist Worker with the communist-looking clenched fist emblem.

Of course the signs that say “Stop the Racist Minutemen /KKK” belong to International ANSWER - the Chicago Chapter.

When looking at those professionally done signs one has to wonder how they paid for them to be made en masse like that. It’s obvious that they’re very well-funded. Aren’t these supposed to be penniless students?
