On this post, a moonbat left a completely idiotic comment, which I thought deserved some fisking.
Conservatives are so afraid that the capitalist systems that favor the rich will be lessened, that they will not even stop to think about those who have been suppressed for hundreds of years.
Conservatives are not “afraid”. And communism always favors the rich elitists and shoves a huge gap between the upper and lower classes. Not to mention how communist regimes notoriously murder their own people in whatever country they have control over.
Saddam’s regime is a good example. Or Castro’s Cuba - where he went somewhere else for medical treatment!!! If Cuba’s system is so damned great with all that “free healthcare”, why are Cubans Americans who successfully escaped Castro reporting conditions like this? In a communist society, there is no middle class - which is why socialists/communists like Obama are targeting our middle class (which happens to be a bunch of white people, although the numbers in that category contain more blacks than it did 20 years ago - and that’s due to capitalism). Suppressed or oppressed? Look, as Reverend Manning said, stop being a victim. Isn’t 300 years long enough to stop blaming the white man? Do any black men today have stripes from being whipped, or do any black people - other than arab slaves - have to endure listening to the sounds of a slave owner raping their wives or daughters? C’mon, let’s recover from history for a change. It’s time to get over it.
Take a look at Black and White on the Grey Matters - and listen to a black guy tell you.
Like in Kenya, where the Muslim minority is suppressed, and the government was ruled by, as you said yourself, a “dictator”. The pact signed seems to be an attempt to help those who are not having a voice be heard, and who are we to judge which morals are correct for all humankind!
There’s that moral relativism that you folks are so famous for. As far as I know Nelson Mandella is not “suppressed” - he is calling for the deaths of all white people, just like Louis Farrakhan, who marks Obama’s win as the end of ‘white rule’.
there are countless minority groups around the world that have been exploited and used for the benefit of those in power.
Yes, that may be true, and mostly in communist/socialist countries. As far as I know - America is the only place that is based on a capitalist economic model -which is why it says on the statue of liberty “give me your tired, your poor, your huddling masses yearning to be free”.
This is why people ESCAPE FROM COMMUNIST “utopias” such as Cuba, the former Soviet Union, and others - in order to escape persecution. Under Saddam’s regime, every group in Iraq at one time or another was persecuted by the regime, and everyone suffered horrible poverty while he built himself disgusting bathrooms in imported marble, and pocketed the money from the United Nations’ oil for food program, and bribed other idiots with it.
Including gorgeous George Galloway, who used a fake humanitarian charity that isn’t registered a a charity - to pour money into his pockets - and pay his chauffeur.
It’s definitely not okay for groups to use violence to regain control, against anyone, even if they have been treated unfairly, but as far as judging other countries goes, we have no right.
Get real, that’s how it’s been since the beginning of time; that’s why we need a strong military. To speak - particularly to the Arab world - from a position of strength instead of a position of weakness. You can speak softly, but you need to carry a big stick when it comes with liars, thieves and murderers - such as Saddam Hussein, Castro, Hugo Chavez, et al.
How can we possibly read all of the literature and understand it ALL,
Well you can at least begin reviewing history instead of keeping your head up your ass.
moreso, what about all of the undocumented information about history in countries around the world.
Whatever the fuck that means.
All I’m saying is this, we all need to find a way to overcome violence, because it only perpetuates more violence, as seen by the chain reactions of generations of fighting in the name of religion.
Violence has its place. If someone was raping your wife, or raping your infant child, would you stand there and do nothing because you’re opposed to violence? This is a stupid argument.
We have the 2nd amendment because people have a right to use deadly force to defend themselves under certain circumstances. - Even though the pacifists - (who Hitler killed and jailed after the Night of the Long Knives)–believe under no circumstances is violence justified–I beg to differ.
The US is very much at fault for it’s own share of unjust violence, just as much as the revolutionary groups fighting for equality.
The US is responsible for Europe and the US not speaking German after WWII. And if you don’t grasp what that means from a historical perspective, I pity you.
Maybe if people would stop to take a look from the other side they might be able to see things more clearly, and unemotionally.
That’s quite interesting…
A president who can take pieces of Marxism to change our country to look towards the betterment of those who have been suppressed is not a bad thing. Marxism theories are about equality and the struggles of classes, not just communism.
No “pieces of Marxism” are good or should be applied to our system.
And lastly, just because those are his family members, it doesn’t mean that he will secretly fund them and provide terrorists with aid.
Really? He has stood beside Raila Odinga and endorsed him…and Odinga has done some pretty nasty things there in Kenya after he complained the election was stolen. Sound familiar?
But maybe conservatives think he will be able to accomplish all of this without Americans knowing, and against our Christian majority in America because Bush has been very successful at exactly this type of thing.
Provide details otherwise this is without substance, just like the Obamanazi.
What’s scarier than Obama using marxist methods to help the poor is the thought of MacCain inheriting the presidency and causing our nation’s ruin with his bullheaded tactless techniques.
They’re all puppets of George Soros, I don’t think it matters which one is ‘elected’.
We will never be able to bomb people into submission, because there is too large of a Muslim population, and terrorist network. It’s silly to think that we will succeed without cooperating with EVERYONE in the global society.
There’s the difference - a ‘global society’ would somehow indicate that we should work in concert with socialists/communists who’ve been seeking to destroy us since Lenin and Trotsky.
Oh, and are Oprah and her viewers and all the voters who chose Obama practicing takeyya also?
Some people are what Lenin used to call “useful idiots”. Like you, as an example, who seem clueless as to what it is you’re really supporting.
Since she started supporting Obama, her popularity has plummeted. She’s wealthy enough, maybe it’s time she found another gig, anyway….she belonged to Wright’s church, too; and mustn’t feel very good about ‘white america’ even though she built her fortune through capitalism. Oprah’s rise to fame and wealth just goes to show that anybody can make it here in America.
And I don’t really have any sympathy for Barack and Michelle who are scraping to send their kids to piano lessons when they only earn 1/2 million bucks a year. After the book sales and the immediate $300,000 profit they made on their house through that rezko real estate deal - it would seem as though they believe that cheating with terrorists and crime figures is the way to go. I don’t see that Michelle or Barack Obama have been ‘oppressed’ in any way. They’ve built their fortune without hindrance - just like Reverend Wright, who has a home built for him by Trinity worth over a million bucks for his retirement…that house is the house that bigotry built…and the same can be said of Louis Farrakhan’s palatial mansion.
