Lush bath bombs, etc.

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about this, but I’ve been playing around with the products - and they are delicious.
I love the smell of chocolate and orange together; Lush has a great body wash called Sonic Death Monkey that smells good enough to eat.
A while ago, I purchased this set of bath bombs.
this is the ‘anything but ordinary’ gift set, which includes six great bombs. The bath bombs themselves almost look like ice cream, and they turned out to be as delicious as they sounded; avobath, big blue, blackberry, honey bee, sex bomb and still life. The three that I was particularly interested in were big blue, avobath and sex bomb.
Big blue is a collection of things that are designed to remind you of the ocean. It has lavender and lemon and swirls of seaweed, and colors the water a deep blue. (One thing about these suckers is they leave a horrid bathtub ring!) But the luxurious sensousness of slipping into that scented water with the fragrances wafting into the steamy air…is like nothing I’ve ever experienced.
Avobath colors the water green, and has lemongrass, bergamot and rosewood essential oils with a touch of glitter, and treats the skin with olive oil and avocado. This one is very good for calming the skin, although you wouldn’t think it with the glitter in there.
Sex bomb was the third one I was interested in, and just about ordered extras just for the helluvit before i even did a test drive. it’s described as an “aphrodisiac of a bath bomb with jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang…”
And slipping into bed after having taken a long bath with that one…was an experience!!! And let’s just leave that there.!!
All of Lush’s products that I’ve tried I’ve been very happy with except for the bath jellies. They foam up very well, but they crumble somewhat, and slip out of your hands easily into the water. They smell yummy, though, and they’re a lot of fun - a complete departure from regular soap.
LUSH products are available at Amazon.com and the Lush online store. A great thing to do, though, is steal a few minutes and find your way into a LUSH store in person! We have one in Woodfield, and it’s quite an experience in and of itself - to pick up and smell the different items, and talk with the sales reps about things you haven’t tried.
The massage bars are also a delectable experience.
