Lush bath bombs, etc.

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about this, but I’ve been playing around with the products - and they are delicious.

I love the smell of chocolate and orange together; Lush has a great body wash called Sonic Death Monkey that smells good enough to eat.

A while ago, I purchased this set of bath bombs.

41ki00kpbxl._aa280_.jpgthis is the ‘anything but ordinary’ gift set, which includes six great bombs. The bath bombs themselves almost look like ice cream, and they turned out to be as delicious as they sounded; avobath, big blue, blackberry, honey bee, sex bomb and still life. The three that I was particularly interested in were big blue, avobath and sex bomb.

Big blue is a collection of things that are designed to remind you of the ocean. It has lavender and lemon and swirls of seaweed, and colors the water a deep blue. (One thing about these suckers is they leave a horrid bathtub ring!) But the luxurious sensousness of slipping into that scented water with the fragrances wafting into the steamy air…is like nothing I’ve ever experienced.

Avobath colors the water green, and has lemongrass, bergamot and rosewood essential oils with a touch of glitter, and treats the skin with olive oil and avocado. This one is very good for calming the skin, although you wouldn’t think it with the glitter in there.

Sex bomb was the third one I was interested in, and just about ordered extras just for the helluvit before i even did a test drive. it’s described as an “aphrodisiac of a bath bomb with jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang…”

And slipping into bed after having taken a long bath with that one…was an experience!!! And let’s just leave that there.!!

All of Lush’s products that I’ve tried I’ve been very happy with except for the bath jellies. They foam up very well, but they crumble somewhat, and slip out of your hands easily into the water. They smell yummy, though, and they’re a lot of fun - a complete departure from regular soap.

LUSH products are available at Amazon.com and the Lush online store. A great thing to do, though, is steal a few minutes and find your way into a LUSH store in person! We have one in Woodfield, and it’s quite an experience in and of itself - to pick up and smell the different items, and talk with the sales reps about things you haven’t tried.

The massage bars are also a delectable experience.

Obama: dual citizen - US and Kenya

Filed under: Communist, Socialist & Nazi , Demonrats , Obama @ 2:48 pm

I’ve been saying that Obama is a Kenyan citizen for quite some time now, although I was under the impression that Kenya does NOT recognize dual citizenship.

Kenyan-Born Obama?

Andy Martin said it in a press conference in February of 2007.

Judicial Watch should defend Larry Sinclair

This article at WND got my attention with this paragraph:

Officials with Judicial Watch today said its investigation into Accountable America would focus on a nationwide effort by the “liberal activist group to intimidate supporters of Republican and conservative causes,” because those activities may fall under a key federal civil rights law known as the Ku Klux Klan Act.

That law, Judicial Watch said, may come into play if “two or more persons conspire to prevent by force, intimidation, or threat, any citizen who is lawfully entitled to vote, from giving his support or advocacy in a legal manner, toward or in favor of the election of any lawfully qualified person as an elector for president or vice president, or as a member of Congress of the United States; or to injure any citizen in person or property on account of such support or advocacy.”

“Threats and intimidation have no place in our democratic elections and are a violation of the law. This new front group, Accountable America, seems have crossed a legal line,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

The Obamablognots have violated the Klu Klux Klan Act - and some of whom you can find at the Mitch and Nan Show. They using the same exact approach as Accountable America. Why is Public Citizen defending the identities of people who have clearly broken the law? Why did the FBI refuse to do anything about Oswaldo’s death threats against Sinclair when that individual has clearly broken the law?

goldfinches

Filed under: my photographs @ 11:56 am

I have seen more goldfinches so far this year - than I’ve ever seen before in my life. Seriously. They are very quick - high strung and fast moving, and it’s very difficult to capture a picture of one.

When they notice you nearby, it’s all over; they’re gone.

I’m now shopping for some telephoto lenses, which should improve the experience quite a bit.

9 Funerals for 9 Warriors (Rightwing News)

True Reporting on the Afghanistan War

The media has reported the story of how these men died - in a dishonest way.

brostrom.png

I’ve seen reports from the AP that said these guys were facing 100 Taliban fighters.

The truth is - it was closer to 500.

Jeff Emanuel, an independent combat reporter, dug into the details and tells the tale in a piece entitled “An Alamo With a Different Ending”

I am attempting to do a video on this story, and will update this post with the video when i am done.

God Bless these boys and their families, friends and all who loved and knew them.

What I love is the fact that the Taliban closed in on them - surrounded them from 3 sides, not expecting what they got; because they had no idea they were facing US Army paratroopers.

Of the 9 that were lost, Sgt Walker says:

“I just hope these guys’ wives and their children understand how courageous their husbands and dads were. They fought like warriors.”

They fought like warriors.

Last week, there were 9 funerals in the United States. 9 warriors were laid to rest. 9 warriors who had given their all for their country. All proud members of a brotherhood that will carry on in their name. They fought and died in what most would consider impossible circumstances, and yet they succeeded. A nameless fight in a distant war which, until you understand the facts, could be spun as a defeat. It wasn’t. And it is because of the pride, courage and fighting spirit of this small unit that it was, in fact, a victory against overwhelming odds. And there’s little doubt, given that pride and given that fighting spirit, that they’ll be back to reestablish the base, this time with quite a few more soldiers just like the ones who “kicked ass” the last time there.

Bin Laden believes that we’ve gone soft; and that we don’t have the stomach for this.

Our guys are proving him wrong.

But I’m still pissed off at how we turned our backs on the Northern Alliance. That’s the whole reason why the Taliban has returned.

murderers get custody of their children

Filed under: Death Pen. , General @ 5:34 am

I had always thought it rather strange that OJ would be awarded custody of his children after he was found guilty in a civil court of the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman. (As Van Helsing pointed out, here.)

But...it appears to be a TREND.

Two more examples: Mary Winkler, who was not only convicted but served two years for shooting her minister husband in the back now has custody of her kids.

And Cynthia Sommer, the wife of the marine Tod Sommer- whose conviction was overturned- also got her kids back, if I understand it correctly.

John Edwards should have used AshleyMadison.com

ashleymadison.png

I heard about this site on the Johnny B show the other day and couldn’t believe it when I heard it. It’s a website where married people can go to get hooked up with someone to have an affair.

This would have saved John Edwards a public embarrassing situation, as the young lady Rielle Hunter was an underling in his campaign staff.

Over 2 million people are members of AshleyMadison.com; the slogan is “Life is short. Have an affair.”

Are you Married but Looking? Ashley Madison is the place for Married Dating.

Feeling neglected and in need of some excitement? You came to the right place.

Ashley Madison is the world’s #1 Married Dating service specifically for ATTACHED men and women who are looking to have an Extra-marital Affair.

They say that entrepreneurs should ‘find a need and fill it’ - but this is over the top.

Some callers to Johnny’s show said shame on the good catholic boy for showcasing the website; that the site encourages people to violate two of the ten commandments (adultery and coveting your neighbor’s wife), and Johnny’s talking about it in effect promotes the idea.

Johnny said he was just fascinated that there is such a thing AT ALL.

What was also interesting is, they cover up for their users, too. If that site charges your card for credits purchased, something else like AML Labs will show up on the credit card bill, and they have a whole division dedicated to throwing suspicious spouses off the track of what the charges are for. In essence; they have a division whose whole purpose is to lie for their clientele.

If Edwards had used their service, no one would have been the wiser.

JOHN EDWARDS AFFAIR: CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FILED

Hmmm. So legal measures need to be taken just in order to find out the truth.

Sounds like the Larry Sinclair story.

democrats flip flop on McCain

This is hilarious.

The John McCain Ad.

The democrats can’t stand firm on any issue…and it appears as though they’re perfectly willing to team up with someone who calls himself a republican but rather work with democrats - when it pushes through something like Campaign Finance Reform - which is what McCain Feingold did. They were perfectly happy with that one.

And some are sitting on the board of his Reform Institute, or involved with it in some way.

That’s all well and good.

But to put out and ad that shows how two-faced they are, how they don’t stand on principle or relationships…and how they would want to broadcast that sorry fact and be proud of it…makes me laugh.
