I met this group of guys while they were still gathering together. Their mission was to protest the continued incarceration of Compean and Ramos, but they also talked about Gilbert Hernandez.

Compean and Ramos were charged with shooting at Osvaldo Aldrete Davila (Fox News, 2007), who ran to Mexico after he was shot in the buttocks in February 2005. It was later found Aldrete was transporting over 700 pounds of marijuana while in the U.S. illegally. U.S. officials gave immunity to Aldrete for that drug run in exchange for his testimony against the two agents.

A jury found that Ramos and Compean not only shot at an unarmed Aldrete — although the agents claimed they thought he had a gun — but then tried to cover it up by picking up the shell casings and omitting details of the incident on their report.

The agents’ plight has galvanized border security groups and other grassroots organizations, including dozens of lawmakers in Washington, who have been pushing Bush to pardon the men.

Johnny Sutton gave immunity to an illegal drug runner for his testimony against our own border control agents for simply doing their jobs. But what is really sad is how old this is, how much their families have suffered, and how the Bush Administration is in bed with the pro amnesty crowd and is NOT ENFORCING OUR LAWS. Bottom line is…the prosecution should have been against Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila, and not the Border Patrol Agents Compean and Ramos.

I had to split for a picnic this afternoon, but they were making quite a splash as far as awareness, people stopped me in the parking lot to ask what it was all about, and people were honking their horns as they drove by in support. A couple of people came around to ask them what it was about, and then voiced their approval.

No communists from ANSWER, La Raza or any of the usual suspects showed up; i guess because this was in the suburbs and the commies were busy sipping lattes at Starbucks. It was not in front of the Mexican Consulate in Chicago because of Elvira Arellano with press all around…she went back to Mexico and that leftist Methodist church that was protecting her apparently is looking for some other “victim” of our immigration laws to champion. When the pro-amnesty people appear at protests - it’s usually when they can get some press coverage. And the press is only interested in promoting their side of the argument and depicting regular Americans who want our country to follow its own laws as lunatics, or wacky militants, or racists.

That in itself is wacky; Compean, Ramos and Hernandez are themselves American hispanics.

There are no “victims” of our immigration laws; these laws exist for good reason. We have American workers who are being displaced, that’s pretty obvious when there are guys like the Lone Protester, Terry Funderbark, out there who are watching their businesses hit the skids because of illegals, and paying a price for objecting to this growing and irritating phenomenon.

Jake and MJ from Freedom Folks document crimes committed by illegals every week in their Blogs 4 Borders blogbursts-and are well aware of the physical attacks the supposedly “peaceful” communists wage on them for voicing the very reasonable assertion that the US should uphold our immigration laws.

The communists believe we should smash the borders, and that everyone should have the benefits of citizenship. That seems in sane when our country is shelling out millions of dollars to accommodate them in our school systems, in our hospitals, etc.

These guys told me the solution to the “amnesty” problem - we should enforce the laws that are on the books.

They are the Minutemen Midwest, and the Chicago Minuteman Project.

Conservative voices in Illinois need to be heard and seen. And since the media isn’t DOING THEIR JOB, somebody has to…!!

There is a cloud of foreboding over the Bidens in my opinion, in view of what they’re doing to Larry Sinclair in Delaware.

Movement for change my ass. With over 30 years in the US Senate under his belt, one has to wonder - is he just another Washington insider who’s never had a job in the private sector? Biden is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; does this mean that Obama doesn’t need those 300 foreign policy advisors anymore?

Joseph R. Two generations of Bidens have been meddling in the Sinclair/Obama saga…And Joe Biden could possibly become Obama’s veep choice. Can anyone say democrat politics as usual?

They haven’t produced any documentation in support of their claims, they merely threaten that they will go after a life sentence in connection with Delaware’s habitual offender rule; so he must acquiesce to their demands.

FYI…in talking with John Barber about the case today I realized that Mr. Sinclair is actually habitual eligible. That means I need written approval from a superior in order to offer anything less the charge and habit. Makes my misdemeanor offer seem really good, doesn’t it? I am working on it, but not sure I will get approval for a straight up NP. If that is the case, why not take the chance at trial. I sincerely doubt she’ll be able to win at trial; she doesn’t have any evidence, and what will be uncovered during discovery is a convoluted chain of conflicts of interest. But it’s nice to know that it’s not only the sychophants who are making threats, it’s paid members of the Delaware DOJ…

So, in essence, this is payback for Sinclair having dared to challenge Obama to admit that he was using drugs when Obama was a representative in Springfield in 1999 and well into his 30’s, rather than having quit using drugs as he had publicly claimed, when he was in his 20’s and in college.

Sinclair, you have some nerve baspheming the holy Obamessiah, now we’re going to put you away for the rest of your life! That in itself should be picked up as a story…why Obama’s sychophants would go after Sinclair like this with no proof. What they need to prove in court was that Sinclair knew that those money orders were no good. Proving that will be impossible. All you need to do is hear Sinclair out; he is very sincere and has changed his life since all this happened in the 80’s.

Sinclair has personally paid dearly for coming out with this story, and they’ve had the nerve to claim he’s in this to ‘make money’. How ludicrous! And what’s more ludicrous is how they’re not only getting away with it, but how they go around threatening supporters, dropping troll turds on blogs and in general terrorize anyone who’s in support of telling the story.

Even if they succeed in giving him a life sentence in Delaware, this story isn’t going away.

While they harp on the “change” mantra it’s obvious that Obama is about politics as usual in Washington and elsewhere, he covorts with criminals, bought his house with the help of a now convicted felon, hid the money that he actually gave to ACORN which is responsible for voter fraud…and on and on.

These are some of the facts that have managed to pierce through the shield of protection that the media and Axelrod have provided him, one can only wonder what hasn’t emerged yet.

We shouldn’t expect that someone who’d buy drugs and engage in homosexual adulterous sex would want to be honest about anything…and that we’ve seen repeatedly in this weird convoluted soap opera that we’re calling an election cycle.

There is so much coming out about Obama now that it’s difficult to fit the pieces together in an organized fashion.

Obama and Ayers not only sat together on the Wood Fund, but also served together on another leftist socialist organization called the Annenberg Challenge, which is supposedly devoted to educational reform. (They want to “change” everything…) Obama’s association with Ayers goes much deeper than originally thought, much to the dismay of his campaign, which set up the SMEARS site as damage control.

They claim that Jerry Corsi and his book on Obama is another ’swiftboating’ but there are so many issues with Obama now, that you can’t really single one out to say it will spell the demise of the Obama campaign; but all together, there are a virtual FLEET of swiftboats destined to blow Obama’s presidential campaign to smithereens. Ayers and Dohrn’s past terrorism, ACORN’s contribution to voter fraud, and the swirling controversy over Obama’s birth certificate raise serious questions about Obama’s elgibility to even run for president, let alone his missing qualifications to lead.

Howard Kurtz at NRO’s Corner, points out that Obama has an ACORN problem. Apparently funds given to the Annenberg Challenge were then passed to ACORN, which Kurtz concludes is the reason that Chicago’s school system wasn’t helped very much by the Annenberg Challenge. Seriously, though, these supposed doo-gooder organizations rarely accomplish what they claim their intentions are; they have an agenda, and they’re tied together.

Obama may well have used the Chicago Annenberg-Challenge to channel money to ACORN (and other radical groups of “community organizers”), few or none of whom had particular expertise in improving public education. This, I fear, may be one of the main reasons why the Chicago Annenberg Challenge failed to make any measurable improvement in Chicago’s public school system. Of course, I’ve already written about Obama’s ties to ACORN in “Inside Obama’s Acorn,” and I’ve got much more on Obama’s questionable role in funneling money to ACORN in “Senator Stealth,” my new piece in the print edition of NR. Obama’s early work for ACORN, his later Woods Fund help for ACORN, and his Annenberg role as a funder of local community organizers (who did a very poor job of improving education, the actual purpose of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge), and the role of all this in Obama’s political ambitions is one key thread connecting all these stories. So this is one key reason why I want to see those library records.

Where Obama is concerned, records have a way of going missing; or being altered, and our judicial system doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to sign subpoenas in order for the truth to come out; we’ve seen that in the case of Larry Sinclair and his allegations of homosexual sex and drug use in 1999 against Obama.

Isn’t it interesting that factcheck.org would be covering up the controversy over the legitimacy of the KOS-produced birth certificate? factcheck.org is owned/run by the Annenberg foundation, the same foundation that sponsored the Annenberg challenge that Obama and Ayers worked together on. which siphoned money to ACORN, among other groups.

An interesting picture is developing, which involves a lot of individual pieces that tell a story that they should be ashamed of.
