Anarchists at the RNC

Filed under: GOP And RINOs , General @ 5:45 am

And of course, the media wouldn’t dare cover it…

Gateway Pundit:

The bus I was riding was hit with cement bags that the anarchists were throwing off the overpasses down on the interstate. The anarchists missed the bus in front of us and nailed our bus with a direct hit

And more:

The Leftist, anarchist, Obama-supporting radicals attacked RNC delegates today at the Xcel Center and sprayed them with a toxic substance.

An 80 year old RNC delegate had to be hospitalized!!

Atlas Shrugs has some amazing photographs.

The AP’s pictures only the the police reacting to subdue the crowd. The slant is sick.

Powerline: Cubs Scouts attacked

Everyday Republican Connecticut delegation spat on and doused with a mixture of chlorox bleach and water

You know what’s really odd about all of this…? These are ANTI-WAR PROTESTERS.

From August 31st at Pam’s Atlas Shrugs see THE LEFT HAS ARRIVED AT THE RNC: “BUCKETS OF URINE, SLINGSHOTS, ANTI-BUS WEAPONS SEIZED IN RAID” ON LEFTWING PROTESTERS.

Palin and Troopergate

Pat Dollard posted by drillanwr refers to Flopping Aces’ research on this manufactured hyped up story here with a timeline.

Quoting Flopping Aces (MataHarley):

What we can derive from the timeline is that the investigations and complaints against Wooten as a State Trooper (not to mention with problems exhibiting a derelict father who tasers his step son, and is a physically and verbally abusive, unfaithful husband per the transcripts and testimony) had started prior to Palin’s term as Governor.

We can also determine that this is a man who most certainly does not need to be a trooper, armed with a badge and gun. And, if not in rural Alaska, Wooten is a law official who would have been run out of most departments as a seriously troubled man with violent tendencies.

Dollard (drillanwr) sums it up:

The slobbering MSM has NOTHING on this woman. So you will see them, and the democrat operatives, taking this one thing in particular … twist it, slice and dice it, spin it, half-bake it, and serve it to the public as ready for consumption … when in fact were Palin a democrat these same people would hoist her onto their shoulders and carry her to the Vice President’s estate in Washington D.C. as a hero and example to woman everywhere.Instead of “abuse of power” you will find a woman who is strong on authority, principles, and doing her job.

Can’t find much about this on other blogs as of yet, but the MSM is having a field day with it.

Those linking to Flopping Aces on the story: Lucianne, Ace of Spades, Gateway Pundit, Protein Wisdom, The Corner, Wizbang, The Strata-Sphere, Macsmind, Memeorandum and Rightwing News. Most of them link to Flopping Aces while talking about the overall attacks on Palin, but Rightwing News and AJ at the Strata-Sphere mentioned troopergate by name, and got more specific.

AJ breaks the ‘troopergate’ caper down for us. Apparently this trooper drank on the job; was Palin’s former brother-in-law; upset over the divorce it appears he took to threatening his former inlaws; and was in trouble for tasering his own son.

AJ:

Conflating this example of classic male stalking of ex-wives and girlfriends into some kind of smear on Palin is going to backfire.

They’re desperate; so they use what’s there and spin it.

Disgusting.

I sure do hope it backfires…somehow they’re never held accountable for their attacks, and it’s the accusations that people remember; not the facts.

photoblogging 盆栽 at the Chicago Botanic Garden

In this courtyard, they had Japanese bonsai on display; and they were quite beautiful. The characters for “bonsai” are 盆栽. Bonsai are unique in that they are not miniature trees or genetically dwarfed plants; they are intentionally trained to be small through pruning and the pruning of the roots in small containers.

cbg14.png

It is a true horticultural art form.

The placards identified what you were looking at, and the display must be some sort of tradition because to the side of each large bonsai was a smaller plant.

cbg15.png

Well…in several of the cases, this was true, but not all.

Behind each display was a large white semi-opaque sheet of some material I couldn’t identify, which showed off the bonsai much better than if they’d just been sitting on open tables.

cbg16.png

They were very striking.

I didn’t put up all the pictures, this is just a sampling of the incredible plants they had on display. For some, at the time of day when we were there, the lighting was wrong and the sun cast a shadow.

Bonsai growers have a lot of patience to train the plants to become works of art, as the plants grow very slowly.
