We had the most amazing sunrise yesterday…but the sun never appeared, because it rained all day and into the night.

This is one of the great pictures I ended up with when Larry was in town.

I’m reading a book on taking portraits, and getting people to sign the releases.

Eventually, I’m hoping, I’ll get up enough nerve to approach people and and ask if I can take their picture. Not that I’m famous, work for National Geographic or any travel magazine…it’s just that…like the author says, I’m a photographer trying to build up my portfolio, and if some day I have the opportunity to publish my photographs, I will need a signed release.

He said that approach works well, so we’ll see if I can get the nerve to do it!

Corsi detained in Kenya - similar to Sinclair at DC Press Conference

Filed under: Larry Sinclair , Obama @ 5:35 pm

This is really interesting!

WND’s correspondent, Jerome Corsi, the author of the blockbuster Obama Nation, was detained by the Kanyan government because he was about to drop a bomb about Obama, Odinga and Islamic Jihad at a press conference. Well okay, maybe the bomb was about Obama’s support of Odinga…and Odinga’s agreement with muslims to install sharia after he was elected - and then crying foul when the election didn’t go his way, and Odinga’s inciting the murderous rampage that followed.

Corsi detained because he was ‘going to drop a hot potato’

I think this is the way they would have preferred Sinclair’s DC Press Conference to have turned out; that he would have been arrested BEFORE the press conference instead of afterward.

Kenyan authorities detained Jerome Corsi today prior to a scheduled news conference because the WND senior staff reporter was about to discuss findings that implicate Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Sen. Barack Obama, according to the local publicist who arranged the press event.

So interesting that Obama supporters keep repeating their fascist actions of censorship wherever they are in the world.

Government officials have stated Corsi’s travel documents were not in order, but Mbae said he doubts that was the reason.

The government moved in, he believes, because Corsi was “going to drop a hot potato.”

I just hope Corsi is safe.

Al-Qaeda: U.S. economic crisis equals Muslim victory

But meatbrain would say it’s because government isn’t big enough and should be sent in to correct the problems with capitalism.

Either way, they’re both wrong, LOL

The problems we’re facing now began under the Carter administration in 1977 with the Community Reinvestment Act, and blossomed from there.

Minuteman Protest, Schaumburg: Melissa Bean

Filed under: Open Borders & Immigration @ 4:34 am

WHAT: Justice & Representative Melissa Bean
WHERE: 1622 E. Algonquin Road - Schaumburg
WHEN: Saturday - October 11, 2008 - 11:00AM - 1:00PM

Why won’t Representative Melissa Bean co-sponsor HR 563 - Congressional Pardon for Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean Act? Many of the voters in the Illinois 8th District have called Melissa Bean and asked her to put her name to this bill. We know that Speaker Pelosi will not bring this bill up for a vote unless it has sufficient co-sponsorship. So what is Bean waiting for? Does she care about justice? Does the Representative even care about public safety issues in the 8th District? We’d all like a straight answer. Melissa Bean wants your vote in November…but first, we want her to co-sponsor HR 563.
