GOPUSA ILLINOIS September 2, 2010 Fellow Republicans: News clips and upcoming event information:

BLOOMINGTON PANTAGRAPH

-- Giuliani to speak at Bill Brady fundraiser in Bloomington two days following September 11 http://www.pantagraph.com/news/state-and-regional/illinois/article_61da2b12-b617-11df-9274-001cc4c002e0.html -- Bill Brady: Schools should consider holding off on teacher pay raises - Mike Riopell (DIERSEN: For 2010, my dramatically reduced federal pension, which is supposed to be adjusted annually for inflation, did not increase at all. Nevertheless, my federal health insurance premiums increase by 42.16%, or by $1,410.36, or from $3,345.12 a year to $4,755.48 a year.) http://www.pantagraph.com/news/state-and-regional/illinois/article_9975ba52-b615-11df-a8bb-001cc4c03286.html

Tragically, when most people are called a bigot, they succumb to whoever calls them a bigot. Because I oppose race and gender based preference giving, my liberal Democrat GAO superiors, coworkers, and subordinates repeatedly constructively called me a bigot. Tragically, at least tragically for me, on September 30, 1997, I succumbed to them and took early retirement. Because they forced me to retire at least 6 years earlier than I would have otherwise, my federal pension is dramatically reduced for the rest of my life. I might very well still be working for GAO today if I was a minority, female, younger, liberal, Democrat, and/or veteran. Beyond outrageously, GAO's wasting me and wasting my career cost those who pay federal income tax many hundreds of thousands of dollars.) http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-ap-us-nyc-mosque,0,2384648.story -- Illegal immigrants down, but not in Illinois State's population stable despite national trend - Dahleen Glanton (DIERSEN: Beyond outrageously, far too many Illinois RINO candidates, Illinois RINO elected officials, and Illinois RINO party leaders refuse to defend, let alone advance, the immigration plank in the Illinois Republican Party platform.) http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/ct-met-illinois-illegal-immigration-020100901,0,3473428.story
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Illinois ranked No. 5 with an estimated 525,000 illegal immigrants in 2009, more than the approximately 475,000 in the state in 2008. The Pew analysts cautioned that their figures were based on a range of estimates, meaning that it is safer to say the Illinois illegal immigrant population was stable rather than to say it actually increased. Nationwide, the total number of illegal immigrants has declined by about 1 million since 2007, to 11.1 million in 2009, representing about 4 percent of the U.S. population. While Illinois has long been attractive to illegal immigrants, the population has fluctuated over the last two decades. Unlike many states that have experienced a clear peak and decline, Illinois grew from 200,000 to 475,000 from 1990 to 2000 and then dropped to 350,000 in 2005.)

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

-- SWEET: Giuliani to headline Mark Kirk fund-raiser WASHINGTON--Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani headlines a fund-raiser for Rep. Mark Kirk's Illinois Senate campaign Sept. 13 in Chicago. Giuliani, who ran for president in the 2008 GOP primaries, has stumped for Kirk before, appearing with him in his north suburban 10th congressional district in 2008 and for his 2010 Senate primary contest. The Kirk campaign thinks Giuliani will help draw in female suburban voters who will see Kirk in the Giuliani mold as a fiscal conservative, social moderate and national security hawk. http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2010/09/giuliani_to_headline_mark_kirk.html -- Gang members: Chicago's top cop unfair They say threats Weis made at secret sit-down are harassment - Mary Mitchell (DIERSEN: What percent of Chicago in terms of square miles and people do violent street gangs control?) http://www.suntimes.com/news/mitchell/2665720,CST-NWS-mitch02.article -- Quinn says meeting with gangs not 'good strategy' - Fran Spielman http://www.suntimes.com/news/cityhall/2664004,quinn-against-gang-meeting-090110.article -- $712,883 stimulus grant to create joke-telling software: NU prof: Computer research no joke Reviled by McCain but defended as 'hard-core computer engineering' - Mark Konkol http://www.suntimes.com/technology/2665564,CST-NWS-nojoke02.article -- Demand fuels drug violence - Alejandro Escalona (DIERSEN: The Republican Party platform promotes the rule of law while the Democrat Party platform promotes moral relativism. So therefore, those who use illegal drugs are not Republicans.) http://www.suntimes.com/lifestyles/2665658,CST-EDT-escalona02.article

Blackwell of Elgin argues that America should give citizens of Mexico even greater preference http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=404838&src= -- Job hunt futile if you don't speak Spanish I was laid off six months ago from a company that I worked at for five years. Before that I had a strong resume with lengthy stays at jobs. I am now 50 years old, and most jobs I apply for I don't have a chance at. No, not because I am 50, but because I do not speak Spanish. Most school districts want someone who can speak both English and Spanish, and so do most nonprofits. I just found a job that would be perfect for me in the nonprofit world but it says bilingual a must. And even when it says "preferred," I usually lose out to one who speaks both languages. So what is someone who is 50 to do? Go back to school and learn the language? What are my children who are in their 20s to do? Learn Spanish in order to succeed in their careers? Here is an idea: Why don't the people coming here learn to speak English? And if you don't want to then have an interpreter available when you are signing up at a school or a park district or at a state agency. Why should I have to learn a different language to survive in my own homeland? It is bad enough so many of us are laid off due to the economy but when this comes up as a hurdle it is just wrong. My grandfather came here from Italy and my grandma from Poland and they had to learn the languages in order to get jobs and services many years ago. I also know of some school districts that have special classes for those speaking Spanish but I know of a little Polish girl who hardly spoke English and she was put in a regular class. - Donna Reboletti, Addison http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=405066&src=

-- Good, bad and 'interesting' among D.C. delegation - Bernard Schoenburg http://www.sj-r.com/opinions/x863072240/Bernard-Schoenburg-Good-bad-and-interesting-among-D-C-delegation (FROM THE ARTICLE: On the House side, U.S. Rep. AARON SCHOCK, R-Peoria, who represents part of the Springfield area, was listed in four good categories and one interesting one. He's third in the "rising star" list, behind Reps. PAUL RYAN, R-Wis., and DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ, D-Fla. He's the top male "hottie," followed by Reps. MARTIN HEINRICH, D-N.M., and by Ryan and JEFF FLAKE, R-Ariz., who tied for third. Shock is also the No. 2 "gym rat," following Ryan and before Flake; and is third in the "best dressed" category, behind Rep. DAVID DREIER, R-Calif., with Speaker NANCY PELOSI, D-Calif., in second. Schock probably doesn't appreciate his final ranking - he was listed second among representatives "most likely to star in a scandal." The first-place nominee was Rep. CHARLES RANGEL, D-N.Y., who is already facing ethics charges. There's been no indication of any such problem with Schock. Dreier placed third. "Ethics charges sealed the deal for the New York Democrat," the magazine said of Rangel, "but the 'hot' and single Schock was a close second.")

WORLD NET DAILY

-- Ann, we won't defend you this time - Floyd and Mary Beth Brown http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=198221
(FROM THE ARTICLE: It is an open secret inside the Beltway that the political operatives who run the RNC, act as media commentators and lead countless so-called "conservative" organizations in D.C. long ago surrendered in the culture war. Every four years there is a nasty internecine battle to keep issues like the sanctity of human life, the traditional definition of marriage and other issues dear to social conservatives in the Republican platform. The elites would just as soon Phyllis Schlafly and Jim Dobson go away. I, Floyd, serve on the Board of the American Conservative Union, and to my chagrin they, too, are getting sideways on these issues. Last year they embraced GOProud as a cosponsor of CPAC, the granddaddy of conservative conferences. CPAC's Lisa De Pasquale defended the group last year to Ed Morrissey of HotAir, saying: After talking with their leadership and reviewing their website, I am satisfied that they do not represent a "radical leftist agenda," as some have stated, and should not be rejected as a CPAC cosponsor. The movement I joined in 1976 when I accepted my membership in Young Americans for Freedom is vastly different than it is today. The strength of the Reagan coalition was its embrace of the millions of activists that were motivated to stand up for traditional values. The conservative movement switched from activism to institutionalism during the late 1980s and 1990s. Today, the activists are in a new movement, the tea-party movement. Conservative leaders are frantic to get at the front of this parade, but it is unlikely they will succeed. Americans want leaders who have courage. Republicans controlled Congress and the White House six of the Bush administration's eight years, and their failure to achieve any meaningful advance in the culture war, control spending, or rein in government is an important factor in their subsequent defeat. If the Republican leadership takes a similar course following electoral victories in 2010, they will likely experience electoral defeats in 2012 or 2014. Civilizations are successful in the long run if they reproduce their values in the next generation. On this scorecard, the conservative movement is failing. The next half decade is going to decide its success or failure. Running from social conservatism and the issues of marriage, family and life will only hasten its demise.)

USA TODAY

-- AS MEN CONTINUE TO FALL FURTHER BEHIND WOMEN: Young, single, childless women out-earn male counterparts - Paul Wiseman (DIERSEN: Democrats want each and every federal employee to be Democrat and preferably minority, female, and young.) http://www.usatoday.com/money/workplace/2010-09-01-single-women_N.htm
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Education is the key: "Young women are going to college in droves," Reach Advisors reports. "Nearly three-quarters of girls who graduate from high school head to college, vs. two-thirds of the boys. But they don't stop there. Women are now 1.5 times more likely than men to graduate from college or earn advanced degrees." Armed with degrees, young women command higher salaries. The trend is especially apparent in cities where minority groups make up more than half the population. Among blacks and Hispanics, women are more than twice as likely as men to earn college degrees. Contributing to the shift: the "decimation of the manufacturing employment base," which has wiped out good-paying jobs for young men who didn't go to college, Reach Advisors notes. The increase in twentysomething women earning decent paychecks while skipping or delaying marriage and motherhood has big implications for society and for the economy. Reach Advisors says twentysomethings who put off marriage increasingly live at home with their parents, dashing the hopes of builders who had expected Generation Y to drive demand for apartments. Male-oriented businesses such as automakers and sporting goods companies will increasingly target women with cash to spend. "They don't need marriage as much," says Stephanie Coontz, who teaches history and family studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash. "They're likely to be pickier, and they're likely to delay marriage." Coontz dismisses the notion that successful single women intimidate men and can't find husbands. They just marry later in life, she says. "One day, I'll get married and have kids. But I'm in no rush," says Rebecca Loveridge, 27, a Washington, D.C., magazine marketing director who also writes a restaurant blog. She likes dining out, attending concerts and checking out art galleries with her friends. "Now is the time to be single," she says.)

Sadly, according to Chicago Tribune political reporter Rick Pearson, at their July 11 press conference at Benedictine University in Lisle, Judy Baar Topinka said "There is nobody out there who is an arbiter of who is a Republican, who is not, what is a Republican, what is not, or where a Republican is in the spectrum of Republicanism historically." According to Pearson, Rudy Giuliani said "The Republican Party is a very big party. It's a very broad party. I think that Judy is absolutely right: Nobody gets to define it." According to Daily Herald staff writer Marni Pyke, Giuliani said "In New York, if you ask the New York Times, they'll say I'm the most conservative mayor in history." Your GOPUSA Illinois Editor, who by the way, also serves as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and for the Better Business Bureau and is a conservative and a strong supporter of the Republican Party platform, attended the press conference and he respectfully disagrees with Topinka's and Giuliani's arguments. A political party is defined by its platform. The more planks in the Republican Party platform that candidates demonstrate by their words and by their actions that they will defend and advance if elected, the more Republican those candidates are. The more effort that an elected official makes to defend and advance the Republican Party platform, the more Republican that official is. Ronald Reagan said that he did not leave the Democrat Party, that the Democrat Party left him. The 80 percent rule is attributed to him. Obviously, George Ryan failed the 80 percent rule and failed to meet all kinds of other rules for that matter, and sadly, Topinka and Giuliani seem to reject Reagan's 80 percent rule. They could have used their July 11 conference to argue that they meet the 80 percent rule. They could have identified planks in the Republican Party platform that they accept and said what they would do to advance those planks if elected. Sadly, the only plank they seemed to focus on was the emergency preparedness plank. Topinka said she does not worry about those who Pearson describes as "conservative critics." A "conservative" is someone who supports the Republican Party platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative -- it is pro-traditional marriage and anti-illegal immigration. Topinka was very happy that Giuliani said she would "be a really tough governor" -- she added "Never mess with momma." Maybe that helps explain why her handlers made an outrageous last minute attempt to bar me from attending the conference. Many thanks to Andy Shaw and to everyone else at the conference who succeeded in thwarting that outrageous attempt. That attempt did not show Topinka's toughness -- it showed disrespect for the Republican Party platform and for Republicans, like me, who want to help elect candidates who will defend and advance the Republican Party platform. Also, many thanks again those who attended the June 29 Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) annual convention in Wheaton and helped thwart John McNeal's similar outrageous last minute attempt to censure me for my work as your GOPUSA Illinois Editor. Sadly, back in January of 2005, Topinka's handlers succeeded in baring me from McKenna's press conference when he was elected to serve as the Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party. Sadly, they also succeeded in baring me from Mehlman's recent press conference for Roskam. But no attempts by them to bar me from press conferences and no attempts by McNeal and his supporters to censure me will discourage me from serving as your GOPUSA Illinois Editor or from helping elect candidates who will advance the Republican platform. Sadly, Topinka and McNeal and their handlers have not indicated that they are going to stop their efforts to stop me from serving as yourGOPUSA Illinois Editor. The more planks in the Republican Party platform that candidates demonstrate by their words and by their actions that they will defend and advance if elected, the more motivated that GOPUSA Illinois will be to help elect them. Sadly, if an elected official or candidate does not want GOPUSA Illinois' support, it must mean that they do not intend to defend or advance the Republican Party platform.)

Diersen’s News Clips and Upcoming Ebents; September 1, 2010

GOPUSA ILLINOIS September 1, 2010 Fellow Republicans: News clips and upcoming event information:

CHICAGO TRIBUNE

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Kirk has pounded the state treasurer's handling of an Illinois college savings fund run by his office as well as his role in his family's failed Broadway Bank. "Taking fiscal advice from the guy whose bank collapsed and cost the FDIC $394 million is akin to taking advice from Rod Blagojevich on ethics," Kirk spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski said in a statement. "As the state teeters on the edge of bankruptcy, the people of Illinois don't need a lecture on fiscal restraint by the state's treasurer.")
(DIERSEN: Every time someone gets elected as a Republican, but then fails to defend and advance the Republican Party platform, the Democrats blame all Republicans.) (DIERSEN: Needless-to-say, in Obama-dominated Illinois, your chances of being offered a job will improve dramatically if you make it clear that you voted for Obama; that you gave money to Obama; that you worship Obama; that you reject all the religions of the world; that you promote homosexual activity; that you promote abortion; that you promote dependency on government; that you promote socialism; that you promote "cheap labor," more mass immigration, illegal immigration, a "pathway-to-citizenship," amnesty, and open borders; that you despise the First and Second Amendments; that you promote gambling; that you despise Whites; that you blame Whites for all problems that minorities have; that you despise men; that you blame men for all problems that women have; that you despise anyone who is older; that you blame older people for all problems that younger people have; that you despise conservatives; that you despise Republicans; that you despise Americans; that you despise America; and that you are a unmitigated "yes-man" or "yes-woman" who will do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING for his/her employer if hired, including driving out of the organization or company any remaining Whites, males, or older people.)

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

(DIERSEN: Sadly, Chicago promotes the Democrat Party platform, a platform that produces poverty and crime. What percent of Chicago residents have committed crimes, are committing crimes, and/or will commit crimes? Sadly, the percentages must be very high.) (DIERSEN: My critics blast me for buying new cars to commute to UIC from Crete 1966-1968 instead of commuting on the Illinois Central (IC). But the nearest IC station then was in Richton Park, I often car pooled with a fellow Crete-Monee alumnus in a yellow Corvair convertible, and I often drove directly to UIC before and after working at the Park Forest Post Office.)

FOX NEWS CHICAGO

(THE TEXT: What do voters in Illinois think about the job our politicians are doing? Scott Rasmussen of Rasmussen Reports joined us from New Jersey with the latest polling numbers. In the latest poll on the Illinois Senate race, Democrat Alexi Giannoulias was supported by 42 percent of likely voters and Republican Mark Kirk had 40 percent. The survey had an error margin of +/- 4 percentage points. In the governor's race, Republican Bill Brady had 46 percent of likely voters and Democrat Pat Quinn had 37 percent. In another survey, 65 percent of voters in Illinois said they were angry with the current policies of the federal government, 54 percent believed neither party has good understanding of what is needed and 60 percent said most members of Congress don't care what voters think.)

DAILY HERALD

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A prominent suburban Republican has made a promotional YouTube video encouraging attendance at a conservative conference in Hoffman Estates later this month. But state Sen. Matt Murphy insists he isn't aligning himself with everything the featured speakers stand for. That's the same approach that event hosts and General Assembly Republican leaders Tom Cross and Christine Radogno have taken on the event. "I know people putting it together," Murphy, of Palatine, said. "They're good people that care about the direction of the state and the country. I felt like it was a good cause." . . . Having the names of moderates Cross and Radogno - who have supported stem cell research and abortion rights, respectively - alongside more conservative sectors piqued the interest of local and national political blogs. Days later, the Daily Herald reported their names were taken down - a move an organizer insisted was event streamlining. The conference, Right Nation spokesman Collin Corbett said, aims to "draw people from every faction on the right." "It doesn't mean we all agree on every single issue," he said, "but it does mean we are finally united against liberal Democrats and their attempts to expand government and tax hardworking families." Murphy has said he sees the tea party as a watchdog on the Republican Party's platform of limited government.)
(DIERSEN: If I had not spent many hundreds of hours and many thousands of dollars making lot drainage improvements, my Wheaton home built in 1984 would have flooded on July 24, 2010.) (DIERSEN: Not only Democrats say that Republicans are racists, RINOs say that Republicans are racists. To be called a "racist" in America today is like being called a "Jew" in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s. Tragically many Republicans jump in bed with the Democrats and jump in bed with the RINOs because the cannot take being called a racist.)

JOURNAL STANDARD

(DIERSEN: If I would run for a Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, Illinois, federal, or any other office, Milton Township Republican Central Committee (MTRCC) RINOs, DuPage County Republican Central Committee RINOs, Illinois Republican Party RINOs, and other RINOs would pull out all the stops to defeat me -- they would jump in bed with the those who promote homosexual activity, abortion, dependency on government, socialism, illegal immigration, further erosion of the Second Amendment, gambling, pay-to-play, anti-conservatism, anti-Republicanism, anti-Americanism, and worse to demonize and denigrate me even more than they do now. From what I can tell, MTRCC Chairman Chris Heidorn, someone who is increasingly critical of me and critical of that I do, would coordinate their efforts.)

(DIERSEN: Yes, but just dumping the Democrats alone will boost Illinois' economy. When Democrats control a state, only people who lack education and/or job skills and/or who have severe health, financial, and/or other problems come to the state or stay in the state. People who have severe problems pay few if any taxes.) (DIERSEN: Federal employees who retire early, including those who are forced to retire early like me, can continue in retirement the health care insurance that they had when they were employees. I pay $4,755.48 a year for family coverage.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: More than 100 Illinois businesses, local governments and labor unions will be among the first to receive new federal assistance intended to help with health care costs for early retirees who aren't old enough for Medicare. In all, 2,000 employers across the U.S. who offer health coverage for their retirees were the first selected to receive some of the $5 billion in financial assistance available to pay for medical claims for retirees ages 55 and older, along with their spouses and dependents.)

(DIERSEN: My liberal Democrat GAO superiors, coworkers, and subordinates viewed me as someone who was born with a "silver spoon in his mouth." When I was 19, in 1967, a) my father, who had diabetes from age 14 and who like his ancestors had never attended college, worked as a supervisor in the office of a chemical factory in Chicago Heights, b) my mother, who like her ancestors had never attended high school, was a housewife, and c) I delivered mail for the Park Forest Post Office to earn money for tuition at UIC and NIU, for room and board at NIU, and for and new American nameplate cars.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Jordan's 19-year-old son Marcus Jordan tweeted August 20 about spending $35,000 at Haze at Aria Resort & Casino. "Last night was stupid. . .35K at Haze," the University of Central Florida sophomore guard said. "Totals 50K something the whole day." The tweet has since been removed from the site. Jordan told a Fox Sports website last week that the tweet was a mistake and said he had conversations with both his parents about it. "I didn't mean it the way it came across," he said. "My family and friends know the type of person I am.")

CHICAGO MAGAZINE

(THE ARTICLE: It's a whopper of a public relations blunder. Speakers for Right Nation 2010's "evening extravaganza" on September 18th at the 10,000-seat Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates include Glenn Beck, gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady, blogger Andrew Breitbart, Rep. Aaron Schock, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, John Moore of The Wall Street Journal, and Tea Party leader Herman Cain. One problem: the evening convention, which follows an afternoon "activist training conference" for conservatives at the nearby Marriot Chicago Northwest, is on Yom Kippur, the holiest of the Jewish High Holy Days. Right Nation spokesman Collin Corbett told me that the plans were made almost a year ago. Organizers wanted Glenn Beck as the keynoter, and September 18th was the date he was available. Corbett said that all efforts are being made to accommodate Jewish people who might like to attend. The holiday ends at sundown; Beck will probably take the stage at around 8:30 pm. Beck's huge rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. last Saturday came on the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington and his "I Have a Dream" speech, which King delivered from the same spot in 1968. Beck has said he has no idea the dates overlapped when he scheduled the event. He called his selection of the date and site "divine intervention." According to Right Nation 2010's website, the event in "President Obama's hometown" is aimed at "conservatives, Republicans and Tea Party Independents." The organizers-the event is "facilitated" by the United Republican Fund-promise that "tens of thousands of patriots throughout the Midwest will come together to celebrate their shared lineage and common purpose.")

(DIERSEN: How soon will we see these signs in Illinois?) (DIERSEN: What do women have to say about this? What do Libertarians have to say about this? What do those who worship Spaniards and worship Spain have to say about this?)
(THE ARTICLE: Spanish police say that for the first time they have broken up a human-trafficking gang that brought men to the country to work as prostitutes, providing them with Viagra, cocaine and other stimulant drugs to be available for sex with other men 24 hours a day. Authorities arrested 14 people, mainly Brazilians, on suspicion of running the organization and another 17 suspected prostitutes for being in Spain illegally, the National Police said in a statement Tuesday. Police inspector Jose Nieto said the case involving the Brazilians was the first in which Spanish authorities dismantled a ring in which traffickers brought in men, rather than women, to toil as sex workers. The victims, men in their 20s and estimated to number between 60 and 80, were mainly recruited in northern Brazil and saddled with debts of up to $5,000 as the cost of bringing them to Spain. Some were duped into thinking legitimate jobs awaited them as go-go dancers or models; others knew they would be working in the sex industry, but not that they had to be prepared for sex around the clock and would be moved from one province to another depending on demand for their services, Mr. Nieto told reporters. The men had to give half their earnings to the gang, and pay for rent and food in the apartments where they worked. "If the men complained or caused any kind of problem, the gang leaders would threaten them, even with death," the police statement said. The arrests were made in recent weeks and the suspected ringleader is a Brazilian based in Palma on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. Besides Viagra and cocaine, the men were given marijuana and the club scene drug known as 'poppers,' the police statement said. Sex is a multibillion-dollar industry in Spain, with brothels staffed mainly by poor immigrant women from Latin America, Africa and eastern Europe lining highways just about everywhere and respectable daily newspapers brimming with ads from people selling their bodies. Prostitution falls in legal limbo: it is not regulated, although pimping is a crime.)

Flight 93 on 9/11: Ride To Stop The Crescent Mosque (protest!)

Flight 93 on 9/11: Ride to Stop the Crescent Mosque Anyone live within driving distance of Somerset Pennsylvania? It's a beautiful place to visit and a group of motorcyclists from Indianapolis is already going. Tom Burnett Senior and Alec Rawls are buying full page color ads in the Somerset Daily American for both Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th, so anyone who makes the trip will have a ready made protest sign waiting for them. Just buy a newspaper, tape the ad to a piece of cardboard, and let the massed national media know what side you are on. That's right. With Barbara Bush and Michelle Obama both attending, it's going to be a media circus, and a rare opportunity to force coverage of our issue. Just self-organize. Ad-holders will show a core of united opposition (and the media might even be forced to read our brief expose). A PDF of the ad will be posted in another blogburst next week for anyone who wants to make signs ahead of time. There is also a set of small posters that were put together for a previous talk by Mr. Burnett. Just print with tiling to make the finished product as large or small as you want:
Board 1: The giant crescent Board 2: It points to Mecca Board 3: The gigantic Islamic sundial Board 4: The 44 glass blocks
Petition to stop the Flight 93 memorial passes 10,000 signatures Including a spate of dozen or so by 9/11 family members that feature some very strong comments. (See pages 198 and 199.) Blogburst logo, petition It Points to Mecca video nearing 20,000 hits Thanks to big fat repostings by Creeping Sharia and Atlas Shrugs. Thank You! Here are parts 2, 3 and 4 (also worthy): If you haven't been to Shanksville before, there really is no lovelier place on earth than an open field in that sprawling Sherwood Forest that is Western Pennsylvania. Drink it in. There is something in the air at that patriots' grave. To join our blogburst against the crescent mosque, just send your blog's url.

Richard Oparil threatens Larry Sinclair

Published August 31, 2010 (at LarrySinclair.com) On Thursday August 26, 2010 in a phone conversation with Richard Oparil, (Attorney for Dan Parisi) Mr. Oparil issued a THREAT to me:
"if you refer to me as a thug or a liar again you will have far worse problems than Dan Parisi."
Well Mr. Oparil, your pleadings speak for themselves and your continued use of Internet postings you know to be false makes you a LIAR. Now lets address the "Thug" issue. In this phone conversation Mr. Oparil acknowledged that the portions of the book where I relay information provided to me is the truth as it was relayed to me. Mr. Oparil then told me I could not prove Parisi had any relationship with David Axelrod. I advised Mr. Oparil that I never said Parisi did or did not have a relationship with Axelrod: I simply provided the information which was provided to me and verified by three other individuals (and the part of that information about Parisi putting a stop-payment on the check proved to be spot on.) Mr. Oparil wants to say I am not entitled to my "OPINION" but yet he files Internet posts as exhibits representing them to be factual. The people who made these posts have bragged about hacking peoples emails; illegally using law enforcement resources to run background checks; and posted photos of my mother in a slanderous Internet sex ad for harassment purposes. These individuals claim their posts are protected as "satire" yet Mr. Oparil files it with the court as FACT. So yes Mr. Oparil you are a hired Thug working for an Internet porn purveyor! The best part is this. Parisi knows he can not prevail and Mr. Oparil knows it too. Not where the law is concerned anyway. Parisi by and through Richard Oparil offered to drop the suit in exchange for the following: 1. I transfer the copyright to Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? to Dan Parisi and Whitehouse.com 2. I print a retraction stating the statements in the book "are knowingly false and defamatory." 3. I agree not to make any future disparaging or defamatory comments about Parisi and Whitehouse.com I informed Mr. Oparil I would not under any circumstances make any statement that the book contained "knowingly false and defamatory" statements about his client because it doesn't. I did however tell Mr. Oparil I would be more than happy to issue a new edition of the book in which I would include a paragraph stating that "Dan Parisi in Feb 2008 refused to respond to requests for comment on the information provided me about him and David Axelrod but that Parisi has since stated the information is untrue." I also pointed out that I would note the information on Parisi placing a stop-payment of the check was spot on and that it is my opinion the information provided about Parisi and Axelrod is accurate. I also informed Mr. Oparil that his client is in breach of contract still to this day. Bottom line is this: Parisi and Oparil know the only way they will prevail in this matter is to continue to pray I am not represented by counsel. That, however, will not matter, shortly. I have finally figured out a way to make sure Parisi v Sinclair goes away. In the next couple of weeks you will all see this come to pass.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Katamanin was also known to hit the casinos. He would have been considered a "whale," a wealthy casino customer who can tap rich credit lines, said Bernie Zadrowski of the Clark County, Nev., prosecutor's office. Skipping out on a casino debt is a crime in Nevada, and Zadrowski was preparing to file charges against Katamanin when the businessman died, he said.)

SPRINGFIELD STATE JOURNAL REGISTER
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Stufflebeam and Ibendahl blamed the Republican Party for the Constitutionalists' ouster. Illinois Republican chairman Pat Brady confirmed Monday that his organization was involved in objections to various candidates. "Our lawyers were working on it," Brady said. "Our position is, as a party, we have to preserve the integrity of the ballot." Brady said it would be unfair to characterize such involvement as a way to protect, for example, GOP governor candidate Brady (who is not related to the party chairman) from losing votes to other conservatives, thus helping Democratic Gov. Quinn. "Certainly, if there is somebody else on the ballot, it's a potential that they could take votes away from you or the other side. But. . .we didn't calculate it that way." He also said about 450 "apparently forged signatures" were found on the Constitution Party petitions. Ibendahl, who was general counsel for the state GOP from 1998 to 2001, called the forgery allegations "a bunch of nonsense." "As a Republican, I'm appalled at what my party is doing," Ibendahl said. "I think a little healthy competition would be a good thing for Republicans." Stufflebeam said his party turned in nearly 33,000 petition signatures. After a check of election records during the objection process, that was reduced to 25,017, he said - 17 more than the number of valid signatures needed for a third-party candidate. But with allegations of "patterns of fraud" made in the party's direction, Stufflebeam said, the State Board of Elections members reduced the number of valid signatures to a little more than 22,000. One argument Constitution candidates could make, Stufflebeam said, is that two of the objectors listed on the challenge to their signatures were merely fronting for the state GOP as "conduit objectors." Ibendahl said he's hoping the Constitution Party candidates can raise money to pay him, but "I haven't been paid a penny as of yet.")
(DIERSEN: Why do employers shun Illinois? Tragically, the Democrat Party dominates Illinois. The Democrat Party platform promotes class warfare, dependency on government, illegal immigration, abortion, homosexual activity, race and gender based preference giving, despising conservatives, despising Republicans, despising Americans, despising America, etc. As long as Democrats dominate Illinois, do not expect businesses to expand in Illinois or come to Illinois or to stay in Illinois unless they agree to promote class warfare, dependency on government, illegal immigration, abortion, homosexual activity, race and gender based preference giving, despising conservatives, despising Republicans, despising Americans, despising America, etc. As long as Democrats dominate Illinois, do not expect to get hired or retained in Illinois unless you promote class warfare, dependency on government, illegal immigration, abortion, homosexual activity, race and gender based preference giving, despising conservatives, despising Republicans, despising Americans, despising America, etc. Outrageously, on August 10, 2010, Quinn signed the Employee Credit Privacy Act which prohibits most Illinois employers from inquiring about an applicant's or employee's credit history or using an individual's credit history as a basis for an employment decision. Democrats shout that Democrats lack education and/or job skills and/or have severe health, financial, and/or other problems. What percent of Democrats in Illinois have bad credit histories -- 85%?, 90%?, 95+%?)

(THE LETTER: I am not a Glenn Beck fan. That said, I found it interesting that in the Page 2 story in the Aug. 29 Daily Herald: "Beck, Palin fire up conservatives," the reporters found it necessary to point out that Beck and Sarah Palin "appealed to a vast, predominantly white crowd." In the same article the reporters mention that Al Sharpton held a counter rally at a nearby high school, yet felt no need to call out the racial mix of the Sharpton supporters. If the racial mix of the groups is somehow important to the story, then the reporters should mention the mix of both groups. The Daily Herald editors should be a bit more careful to catch this kind of subtle one-sided reporting.)

(THE LETTER: I would be very curious as to why Associated Press writers Philip Elliot and Nafeesa Syeed felt it was so important to report the racial makeup of those attending Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally - so much so that it was part of the first sentence of their report - but did not feel it was at all important to report the racial make up of Rev. Al Sharpton's counter rally, in their Sunday, Aug. 29 story about the events.)

(THE COMMENTARY: Birthright citizenship is a powerful anchor for keeping illegal workers in a country - and for keeping the jobs they fill out of reach of unemployed legal residents. It is incompatible with a modern age of easy transportation and organized people smuggling. Every developed nation, except the USA and Canada, has rejected citizenship for births to tourists and unlawful foreign residents. An estimated 4 million U.S. residents have received this type of citizenship. Who's hurt by this? Millions of poor American children live in families suffering from unemployment or depressed wages because an estimated 7 million illegal foreign workers are holding construction, manufacturing, service and transportation jobs. Anything that slows the decision of illegal workers to go back home prolongs the disadvantaging of the 30 million less-educated Americans and legal immigrants who don't have a job and who generally seek work in the same non-agricultural industries where most illegal workers are found. Birthright citizenship is a major anchor for illegal workers already here who are led to feel that their birthright citizen children may give them a claim to remain. Note that one of the loudest arguments for giving illegal workers permanent work permits is that it would be wrong to make them go back home if they have U.S. citizen children. Of course, ending birthright citizenship is not enough. Congress should pass the SAVE Act to impede outlaw businesses from hiring illegal workers, and take other actions to protect legal U.S. workers from an immigration system that is importing hundreds of thousands of working-age immigrants annually during a jobs depression. With unemployment high and wages stagnant in most occupations, we don't have labor shortages and don't need additional foreign labor (or the illegal labor already here). Scholars make strong arguments on both sides of what the 14th Amendment's birthright citizenship provision means. Only the Supreme Court can say, and it has never ruled about tourists and illegal residents. For now, Congress should leave the Constitution alone and pass legislation (H.R. 1868) that simply clarifies the birthright provision in immigration law - and then see how the court rules.)

*breaking news* Jeff Shippey arrested in Mexico

[caption id="attachment_24351" align="alignright" width="210" caption="Jeff Shippey, Former Dyncorp employee, now supposed private Dick who was arrested in Mexico 15 days ago."][/caption] Mexican police just admitted that American Jeffery Shippey, a former DYNCORP employee, working with Joe Cafasso and Bill Hagler, was arrested fifteen days ago for impersonating a special agent of both the U.S. Justice Department and U.S. FBI. I am in the process of obtaining statements from the Mexican federal court that prove all of the allegations against Idema were falsified. This is an elaborate scheme, involving Hagler, Artis and Cafasso. (If you had been following the Idema series here in the Task Force Sabre 7 section at this blog, you would be familiar with those names.) [caption id="attachment_24386" align="alignleft" width="159" caption="Green Berets began a covert investigation into Cafasso and leaked his phony credentials. The New York Times published a story a short time later, called “At Fox News, the Colonel Who Wasn’t.” "][/caption] The Vice President of Diario di Quintana Roo is preparing a full retraction of what they wrote about Idema that appeared on Sipse.com The Mexican Federal Court issued an order of protection saying that the charges were false, and all the allegations were fabrications. This is the signed seal and the Federal Amparo. I will have an English translation from the Mexican Federal Court by tomorrow morning. The Mexican Federal Court found Idema's civil rights had been violated because the entire story had been manufactured and falsified. [caption id="attachment_24346" align="alignright" width="159" caption="Hagler made his big stake in life the day he murdered an old woman, then made it look like he found her dead body, then looted her estate (he even took her dead husband's clothes). See this post about Hagler here at Cao's blog: http://caosblog.com/archives/2733"][/caption] The word "Amparo" in Mexican law cannot be translated into English because it has no direct equivalent in the legal system. Thus, the term is impossible to translate and it is clarified by this Supreme Court note:
"Amparo" = the most powerful provision unique to Mexican law that is an order for protection against acts by authorities and anyone aggrieving a party, and also provides protection from slander by the press [unlike the US Writ of Habeas Corpus]. It is a very powerful provision in Mexican law that has no adequate translation into English.
A Mexican Federal Judge, the highest authority in the state of Quintana Roo, issued the first Federal Order on behalf of Jack Idema on July 30, 2010.  Three days later, on August 3rd, the Chief Judge of the Mexican Federal Court in Quintana Roo, held a formal hearing to decide if Idema’s Amparo and Order of Protection would be upheld or ended.  Amparo’s are almost always ended at that time.  However, in the case of Jack Idema, the Federal Court UPHELD the Order and continued it for one year, finding that there was NO EVIDENCE against Idema, and that the charges had been fabricated and falsified along with the evidence.  The judicial state police investigator involved in the initial extortion scheme against Idema has been placed under federal investigation.“On July 27, 2010, This “investigator” (“Ramiro E. De La Fuente Z.”) wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt said EXACTLY THIS in perfect English:
“This is Mexico, this is not the United States, I can ask whatever I want, and I can do to you whatever I want to you, and there is nothing you can do about it. You are nothing, I am the law here.”
(He was being taped and did not know it!)”
(For more about the judicial police, watch an all time favorite movie of Jack’s: Man On Fire with Denzel Washington.  That film, and many others, expose the rampant corruption in the local judicial police forces, who are infamous for kidnappings, rapes, and murder.  Imagine that…….) [caption id="attachment_24331" align="alignnone" width="575" caption="Mexican Seal from Mexican Amparo document about Idema"][/caption] "Amparo" provides for a constitutional review by a Federal Court at any stage of a case, including investigation. If you want to know more about it, then study Mexican law. It is a very important specialty in itself. [caption id="attachment_24379" align="alignleft" width="215" caption="Edward Artis is a doctor of deception.  His knighthood is phony, bought in Russian from Russian mobsters.  His medals are fake, his life is fake, his awards are fake, but his PhD is real-- he bought it for $3500 from an online "paper-mill" that is now defunct.  He bought it with money obtained from donations from people that thought they were buying medicine for impoverished nations.  He claims to distribute millions of dollars in aid per year.  His IRS Tax forms for his Knightsbridge International charity tell a far different story.  You can get them online by searching for the websites that post §501(c)(3) public charity non-profit company tax returns.  Compare his tax returns to his claims on websites and in the media-- you will be on the floor laughing."][/caption] This is unique solely to Mexico specifically because "amparo" does not mean the same thing in all countries, and the Mexican "amparo" is their own creation and allows a righteous party to try their case in the very first days, bringing everything to a halt for three days.  Then, upon the formal hearing, the Federal Court either upholds the Order or rescinds the Order.  The federal court upheld Idema's Order, and specifically in Item #3 said that his "good name in Mexico" would be protected by the Court and no person could conduct defamation or slander against him. Amparo simply means protection. The recurso de amparo is an all-purpose remedy very much in use in the Mexican legal system. It is, in the words of a justice of the Mexican Federal Supreme Court, one piece of Mexico’s self-attributed “task of conveying to the world’s legal heritage that institution which, as a shield of human dignity, her own painful history conceived.” The writ has been described as “the most Mexican institution of the whole of positive Mexican law.  So the bottom line is this- it has all been BULLSHIT from the beginning. http://opinion.inquirer.net/inquireropinion/columns/view/20070903-86232/The_Mexican_amparo Even though this is happening in Mexico, the M.O. is identical to what these same people did to Idema in Afghanistan. This is precisely what they did to imprison Jack Idema in Afghanistan, impersonating FBI agents and officials with the U.S. Government, and started getting stupid journalists to write slamming articles. Another reference to "Amparo" at the New York Times, here: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9E06E6DB1339EF3ABC4153DFBE668389639EDE Google search results have been manipulated to hide this post.

My GAO superiors were fully aware of a) the political affiliation discrimination charges (http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/cgi-bin/getcase.pl?court=us&vol=497&invol=62) that Rutan had filed against the Illinois Republican Party; b) that I contributed to the Republican Party; c) that I cast Republican primary ballots; and d) that I lived in a Republican congressional district, Republican state senate district, Republican state house district, a Republican county, a Republican township, a Republican city, and a Republican precinct. My liberal Democrat GAO superiors, coworkers, and subordinates despised if not hated Republicans. In 1987, they succeeded in forcing the manager who hired me to retire. In early 1989, they pulled out all the stops to get me to leave the agency, but they failed, because my Congressman Henry Hyde intervened. However, in 1997, I succumbed to their political affiliation discrimination and took early retirement.)

TAPROOT REPUBLICANS OF ILLINOIS

WORLD NET DAILY

(THE ARTICLE: The first definition of "conservative" in most dictionaries is something like this: "disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change." If that definition is accurate, many self-proclaimed "conservatives" have already betrayed their cause of preserving the most important institution to any civilized or self-governing society, while others are treating marriage as if it's just another issue on which good people can disagree. That's the capitulation I see since the recent arrival on the scene by a well-funded group called GOProud, which bills itself as a "gay" conservative organization. GOProud scored a publicity and political coup recently be securing conservative star Ann Coulter as a keynote speaker at its "Homocon" conference in New York Sept. 25. "Homocon" is an appropriate name for the event - because the homos are conning conservatives into believing they are a legitimate, sincere and vital part of their movement and people who share many of the same fundamental convictions. Nothing could be further from the truth. Coulter reacted with fury and ad hominem attacks on my character and religious faith when I dropped her as a keynote speaker at my own conference in Miami a week earlier because of the validation she was providing for this group, which recently was accepted as a co-sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference, largest annual gathering of conservatives in Washington. That decision led Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity to turn down invitations to address CPAC and a handful of conservative organizations to withdraw from co-sponsorship, not because, as some suggest, they are "anti-gay," but rather because they recognize a "homo con" when they see one. GOProud claims to be conservative, but it's not. It's conning the conservative movement - or what is rapidly becoming the formerly conservative movement. What does GOProud stand for? Hate-crime laws, open homosexuality in the U.S. military, non-discrimination against homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendereds in any workplace, tax code changes to protect "domestic partnerships," expansion of health-care benefits to "domestic partners," the expansion of U.S. military operations to force other countries to legalize sodomy, federal perks for people based on their sexual proclivities and, of course, same-sex marriage. As GOProud Chairman Christopher Barron explained in a Twitter posting of 4:04 p.m. Aug. 4, just before announcing his big Coulter coup: "We are a gay organization, we only work on gay issues, we have never claimed otherwise. My God people." The real goal of GOProud is infiltration and subversion of the conservative movement - and it is highly successful in its early efforts. It is softening up the movement that has provided much of the opposition to the very non-conservative agenda of the homosexual rights movement. So why are conservatives so eager to validate this effort? I don't know, but they are. Glenn Beck sees no threat to the nation from same-sex marriage. Coulter is being exploited shamelessly by the homo conners, allowing herself to be portrayed as "the Judy Garland of the right," whatever that means. Grover Norquist, founder of Americans for Tax Reform sits on the group's board. Conservative bloggers like RedState.org's Erick Erickson and the Daily Caller's Tucker Carlson are embracing GOProud's entry into their movement. What's going on here? Is this naiveté? Or something more sinister? I don't have the answer, but it is an ominous sign for the formerly conservative movement - which seems to be going soft the preservation of the most important institution of all, marriage. Even more shocking is how few name-brand conservatives are speaking out on this outrage. Where are the pro-family organizations? Why are they so quiet? Where are the other celebrity conservatives? Why aren't they speaking out? Where are the Christian leaders? Why does it take a lifelong journalist, a newsman, a pundit, to point out what's happening here? Is it because others are afraid of the wrath that comes with disagreeing with the celebrity conservatives? Is that what this movement has become? If so, the homo con has already succeeded. The conservatives have caved. It has been seduced by a small band of well-heeled homosexuals and intimidated by loud-mouthed allies. Is that it? Is it over? What's left to conserve after marriage is gone?)

Order Sinclair’s Book at $35.00; help him find a lawyer with a spine

Despite the legal issue which continues to be a problem, Sinclair found a publisher to publish his book in paperback form, and it is available for purchase at his website for $35.00. This is quite a deal, considering what Amazon is selling those books for; the screen shot below shows the hardcover edition is selling for $976.98. The paperback edition is selling for $160.00. Sinclair is signing and numbering each copy that he sells, and he needs to sell them, in order to pay legal fees, should he find a lawyer with a backbone and cojones. Go to Larry's website and the paypal button on the left sidebar and order a couple; these may well become collector's items. To catch up to the present, it should be known that Sinclair moved from Florida to Washington, D.C. in order to fight Patton and Boggs, representing Whitehouse.com's Dan Parisi against supposed defamation charges which are ridiculous. But since no attorneys have stepped forward to help Sinclair, Patton and Boggs hasn't had to prove any of their ridiculous allegations. Meanwhile, since Sinclair moved to D.C., they have found all sorts of avenues to harass him and prevent him from finding a place to live, requiring him to report his whereabouts to the Secret Service, and a litany of other silly things.
The First Amendment Applies Only If You Can Afford DC Attorneys at $600 an hour Published August 15, 2010 Saturday I received an email from the Attorneys for Ingram Content Group and Lightning Source, Inc. The below statement from that email says everything about Patton Boggs and Dan Parisi's purpose and intent from bring civil action against them. Their intent and purpose was to get the book Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? out of distribution and production, they have accomplished that without having to prove a single thing in their complaint. "Absent Ingram and Lightning Source being dismissed from the case with prejudice (and depending on the terms of that dismissal) or a settlement agreement between you and the plaintiff, Lightning Source and Ingram are not going to produce or distribute this title." Sadly Patton Boggs & Dan Parisi will continue to get away with their legal thug tactics unless some attorney who has a backbone to stand up for what is right and not be intimidated by Patton Boggs and the Political threats/backlash comes forward.

Online Conservatives DO Care about Mehlman’s Betrayal

Mehlman's embarrassing "coming out" was met across the web with an astonishing "congratulations!", including a virtual high five from the head honcho of the Republican Party, Michael Steele. Michael Steele isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but all of the voices coming out in support of homosexuality in general, are drowning out the voices that do not. This is worrisome, because homosexuals are on the fast track to being another celebrated victim class, at the expense of everyone else. This is shaking America's foundations, and people should be paying a lot of attention. Alan Keyes thinks Mehlman's Gay Revelation reveals the GOP Elite's charade:
The veil of a phony partisan divide is used to obscure the reality of the Party elite’s contemptuous distaste for the vulgar moral (and, God forbid, religious) enthusiasm of the sincere American patriots without whom they could not remain in office. Thus people placed at the highest levels of Party leadership thwart and discourage efforts to promote the agenda of American principle with which the Party deceitfully masks its naked pursuit of power.  We learn now that Ken Mehlman was one such person,  using his highly influential position to discourage and undermine efforts that might effectively defend the existence and rights of the natural family. We are supposed to believe, of course, that he did all this because he is a homosexual.  He could secretly promote the homosexual agenda because he was in a position of power.  We should never consider the possibility that he was placed in a position of power because he would promote the homosexual agenda.
For Charles Spiering to say at the Washington Examiner that "online conservatives don't care much" about this revelation is incredibly naiive (if not just plain STUPID), not to mention, completely and utterly false. He cherry picks the so-called online conservatives he quotes, who say they don't care one way or another about the issue, as if all conservatives fall under the soft category of mambypamby GOP politicians who are whetting their fingers and sticking them up in the air to see which way the winds are blowing. In this case, the Obama Administration stuck a big stake into the ground, and Obama himself proclaimed how he would further dessimate our military by forcing our enlisted men and women to accept and affirm homosexuality by repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell, and allowing open homosexuals to serve. As in most cases with this administration, this is about destroying America as we know her. And on that score, Keyes makes a valid point:
I would invite people to consider the possibility that Ken Mehlman is not the source of the problem; neither is his homosexuality.  Its source is exemplified in the response of GOP Chairman Michael Steele, who blithely expressed his happiness for Mehlman.  Like a parent pleased that his child has finally made known his true life’s vocation, Steele gaily personalizes the moment, at the very time when any responsible leader of principle ought rather to invite people to consider its implications for the nation. As a matter of public policy, the issues on which Ken Mehlman exerted his retrograde influence within the GOP are not about his personal behavior.  They are about the truth or falsity of the great principles, the self-evident truths, from which the liberty of the American people derives.  If there is no natural right, no natural family, no ways of God reflected in the nature of mankind, then there are no unalienable rights; no principle of justice that requires their security; no authoritative basis for the rightness of government based on consent; no claim to self-government, of, by and for the people. By treating these gravely serious  issues as purely personal, leaders like Steele prove that they are blind to the crisis such issues portend for the nation’s conscience, heart and life. Or are they?  By purposely corrupting, confusing or discrediting the moral ideas on which the people’s liberty is based, an ambitious elite can prepare for the day when, of its own accord, democratic liberty succumbs to dissolution. That is the day on which untrammeled elitist power will replace the constitutional sovereignty of the people.
This is about moral absolutes and truth, from which we should never stray. Sexual organs are for procreation; it is what they were designed for. Any deviation from that, such as two people of the same sex stimulating the organs for procreation- is deviant behavior; it deviates from the norm. Just about anyone who begins contemplating the mechanics of what homosexuals actually do, is sickened by the prospect; it's a natural revulsion to unnatural acts. It is easy, then, to understand that "love" has little to do with homosexuality; it is a sexual behavior, not something like being born with blue eyes. And it goes without saying that engaging in this behavior is dangerous, as the homosexual community carries much more STD's and spreads more disease because they are largely NOT monogamous. Their lifestyle is about getting sex from a lot of different partners, which is why bath houses and forest preserves are so popular. But back to the original point, which is about the so-called conservatives either 'caving' on the homosexual issue, or not recognizing that it is an issue at all, and what that means for the country. In recent weeks, one icon after another, such as Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly (who certainly don't represent social conservatism as they admitted they steer clear of the 'social issues') have publicly caved on the homosexuality issue. O'Reilly shrugs his shoulders and concedes that 'gay marriage' will become a reality within the next 15 years. Beck justifies his not talking about these issues while quoting Thomas Jefferson's "'If it neither breaks my leg, nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me?" Around the web, people have taken note of Fox's commentators' avoidance of Mehlman's pronouncement about his sexuality. Upon further examination, it is already evident that homosexuality is picking our pockets (the Veteran's Administration is the largest single service provider for AIDS patients), and it portends to 'break our legs' to the extent that it will abolish 1st Amendment Rights, and Christians' rights to freedom OF religion. Activists make no bones about hating Christians. Catholic charities in Massachusetts closed its doors rather than begin placing children in homosexual homes. A photographer was ordered by a judge to pay a fine for not taking pictures at a same-sex marriage, even though that couple could have chosen another photographer. Christians have been arrested for preaching the Bible in public, and the list goes on. If you are a person of faith, listen up! We are living in terrible times, and our precious founding documents are withering on the vine while a dark 'new morality' is emerging that should frighten everyone. Moral people who oppose homosexuality and do not wish to affirm it, should be allowed that choice--in the interest of 'diversity and tolerance' the activists so like to pay lip service to. Moral people who oppose homosexuality should be allowed to talk about it in the public square without being called 'haters', that serves no purpose. Moral people, who love their children, should be allowed to train them and educate them on moral matters without the interference of the teacher's unions and educators who are bent on indoctrinating them to recognize homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle.
no one is born gay, its causes are psychological and emotional, the Bible in no way supports or condones homosexual behavior, and that there is no compromise possible between our First Amendment right of freedom of religion and the agenda of those who are seeking to make the American culture into one where sexual morality is tossed out the window. (Biver, 2010)
Anyone that says they don't particularly care about policy issues or social issues having to do with morality shouldn't be considered conservatives. Today's wacky narrative includes scolding social conservatives as "rightwing extremists", or "extreme rightwing Christians" or "Christofascists" or any number of other Christian-hating epithets as though there is something wrong with the moral majority and the foundation for our laws (the Ten Commandments). This is falling right in line with homosexual David Brock's Media Matters narrative. Those people who are talking Brock's talk, or Kevin Dujan's Hillbuzz talk and sound like leftists, are most certainly serving leftism, no matter what their political party affiliation. And that goes for the so-called 'conservative voices' that see no problems with Mehlman's pronouncement, which is evidence of a serious betrayal. Peter LaBarbera, the President of Americans for Truth, talked about it here (link) titling his post:  Why Is Michael Steele Applauding Ken Mehlman’s Homosexuality? He admonishes Michael Steele for his lack of leadership on the homosexuality issue.
The Republican Party has a big and growing  ”gay” problem. It is slowly going pro-homosexual even as GOP leaders continue to advertise theirs as the party of “family values.” Just one more reason why so many grassroots conservatives who regularly vote Republican call the GOP “The Stupid Party.” The latest GOP hypocrisy: Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele’s congratulatory words for former RNC chief Ken Mehlman, who has confirmed longstanding rumors that he (Mehlman) is a practicing homosexual. The Washington Post reports that Steele said this about Mehlman’s “coming out”: ‘I am happy for Ken,’ Steele said. ‘His announcement, often a very difficult decision which is only compounded when done on the public stage, reaffirms for me why we are friends and why I respect him personally and professionally.’” Why couldn’t Mr. Steele just have kept quiet about this tragic revelation by which another sexually confused man seeks to rationalize his misbehavior (sin) by declaring homosexuality part of his inherent being? Nope, instead, like a three-year-old boy approaching a puddle, Steele just had to step in it. Pro-family writer Laurie Higgins of Illinois Family Institute observed: So, Steele is “happy” that Mehlman is homosexual and/or happy that he is public about it? Why would he be happy for a friend embracing immoral and dangerous practices or for a friend being public about his embrace of immorality? And why does he respect him for his “difficult” decision to announce his immorality publicly? What fecklessness or cowardice Steele’s comment demonstrates. And this from the leader of the Republican Party…
Laurie Higgins is exactly right, this is nothing to be proud of, let alone crow about. What's worse about Mehlman's 'coming out', as LaBarbera notes,
Mehlman used his tremendous influence within the Republican Party to undermine the GOP’s clear platform language in support of preserving traditional marriage. All the while rank-and-file Republican Joe’s and Jane’s were assuming that the RNC leader was standing up for marriage between a man and a woman. Mr. Mehlman has just proved: 1) why homosexual activism should be kept out of the Republican Party, since it undermines core conservative values supported overwhelmingly by the GOP grassroots; and 2) why secret homosexuals working within the GOP against the Republican platform should be exposed.
It is the very reason that rank-and-file republicans have been turning out at the voting both in fewer and fewer numbers; it is a betrayal of epic proportions. LaBarbera has not been afraid to confront things as they are, or to assert that despite today's popular narrative about sexual orientation and comparing it to the Civil Rights movement of the 60's, homosexuality is an assortment of sexual behaviors that deviate from the norm, that are health risks, which is why active homosexuals cannot donate blood to our nation's blood supply. John Biver at Champion News also talks about the homosexual issue at length in these posts at Champion News, the most recent of which is posted here (link).
One friend has observed - "Although it wouldn’t be appropriate to hold a parade for potty-training in that it’s a private activity, I think being potty-trained—unlike homosexual practice—is a legitimate accomplishment."
What I'm noticing is that people who are not even pro-family are being quoted as being 'conservatives' when much of the time it's the gay activists who are being given top billing, as you can see in this article at the New York Times. Predictably, the sodomite bloggers Joe My God and Pam Spaulding at Pam's House Blend get top billing.  Because, you know, they're being 'discriminated against' by those nasty Christofascists. That's a new word that I learned over the past week, as some gay activist had an issue with one of my videos from the Truth Academy where the communist queers were protesting outside. In reality, they were throwing tantrums about rights they want denied to everyone but them. "Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other," said John Adams, and when you submit to cultural marxism on any level, the Overton Window is moving in the wrong direction. It is being done with dishonest sophistry in order to deliberately change immoral behavior to a sexual 'orientation' or identity, but the same could be done with any number of other immoral and destructive behaviors: such as drug addiction, alcohol addiction, prostitution and others. Hey, dear, (your alcoholic friend), here's a big bottle of vodka so you can drink yourself to death...farbeit from me to be 'judgmental' or anything! I don't want to mess with your alcoholic identity! Or here, (your friend who shoots heroin), take this money and go shoot some horses in your arm! I wouldn't want to mess with your junkie identity! Most destructive behaviors are frowned upon by society, and that is one of the reasons why there are laws against them, to protect the public. Smart public policy reflects morality, morality protects the population at large. Mehlman has paved the way, along with GOProud and a number of others, to accept homosexuality even within the ranks of the very political party that was supposed to be upholding and defending moral values and the American Family-which, is a communist goal. We don't encourage other people with harmful addictions to crack cocaine, or other dangerous behaviors, why are people doing it with homosexuality? Biver says
The physical health statistics, sociological data, and psychological evidence reached critical mass a long time ago about the dangers of that behavior choice.
What is most disappointing is how well it's worked INSIDE the Republican party, due to the efforts of covert operators like Mehlman. Sister Toldjah says this is only big news when filtered through a liberal lens:
This is a big deal, of course, because in the left’s minds, as well as the MSM’s (I know – same thing), Republicans “hate” gay people so it’s a “shocking development” to find out such a formerly high ranking GOPer would say “I’m gay.” Not only that, but this is a big deal more so to the left than the right because we all know how the far left, in particular, gleefully treats gay conservatives – very much like they treat black conservatives. That is, with the same contempt and bigotry that they accuse US of. The little secret that is not really a secret except in the closed-minded world of the left is that most conservatives don’t “hate” gay people. Apparently, because most conservatives don’t support gay marriage and don’t support gays openly serving in the military, they “hate” them. This is “hate” – in spite of the fact that most conservatives also do not support polygamy nor any other type of “alternative” marriage, nor do they support women serving on the front lines in war. It’s an issue of not wanting to tamper with the existing social structure of the two parent man/woman family, and not wanting to create an atmosphere of great uncomfortableness in the military between those who are openly gay and those who aren’t. We’ve seen the disastrous results of the left’s tampering in the social arena for decades now, and we’re opposed to signing onto anything else they have to offer on that front.
Yes, because we are the adults, and we can see the bigger picture of what these disastrous policy prescriptions will bear out in the end. It's called looking at the logical conclusion, which they are unwilling to bring themselves to look at. You don't allow children to make their own minds up about what they're going to have for dinner; they might choose ice cream every night; you can't give everyone whatever they want simply because they want it. Children need discipline; they shouldn't be allowed to run into the street or in front of moving cars. If there are homosexuals in the GOP, they should not be celebrated or congratulated. There is a thing called 'decorum', and at one time in this country, sodomites served jail sentences. Sodomy, fisting, and pig sex orgies are not a 'human right'. And Mehlman is an embarrassment and has undermined what the GOP stands for while gay activists cheer. It's high time more people educated themselves on this issue. The moral argument should be articulated everywhere, from churches to the workplace, to television, to the dinner table. It's a moral imperative that we work at this before we lose our religious freedom because of a handful of spoiled children chanting with their rainbow flags about how their 'right' to be sexual deviants should usurp everyone else's. Those in the pro family and right to life movement have a right to express their point of view, and when we're talking diversity, it should really be intellectual diversity rather than diversity including bitter, divided, hyphenated American victim groups.

The Mess Bush Left

The Washington Post babbled again recently about Obama's inheriting a huge deficit from Bush. Amazingly enough,...... a lot of people swallow this nonsense. So once more, a short civics lesson. (Graph from the Heritage Foundation blog The Foundry) Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that has controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as FY 2010 and FY 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets. Remember? And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills. He signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period (see above). If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the FY 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, when Obama says he inherited a huge deficit, what he is saying is "I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th, 2009."

(FROM THE ARTICLE: "This will destroy the financial industry," warned Diana Furchtgott-Roth, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute who was the Labor Department's chief economist under President George W. Bush. "If the CEOs of American financial institutions have to be worried about the diversity regulations, whereas those in other countries are worrying about their profits, we are going to fall behind." Industry groups, regulatory agencies and analysts are just starting to grapple with the potential ramifications of the provision, which takes effect in January. The effect is hard to gauge because the law gives the directors of each of the new offices the authority to develop their own standards for equal employment at their agencies as well as at the companies they regulate and contract with for services, such as asset management. If the legislation is interpreted broadly, the diversity requirements could reach down to subcontractors who provide food or janitorial services - something not required under current rules, said Jon Geier, an employment law expert at the Paul Hastings law firm.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: From coast to coast, platform-supporting Republicans have reacted to Glenn Beck's weak-kneed cave-in regarding the issue of homosexual "marriage." He's quoted as telling Fox News Network's Bill O'Reilly, "I believe that Thomas Jefferson said, 'If it neither breaks my leg, nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me.'" Some people are even calling for a "moratorium" on the political discussion of the cultural issues. That idea is foolish, as we've addressed on links found here. Try as you might, you can't separate economics from culture. The cultural issues are numerous. They include the proper use of facts when it comes to history, honesty in intellectual debates, integrity in the free market system, standing with our friends and allies in foreign countries, the right of the unborn to not have their life taken through the barbaric procedure of abortion, and decorum that befits a civilization when it comes to matters that should be private such as individual sexual predilections. The two that get the most attention are abortion and the sexual problems of at best 3 percent of the population: homosexual behavior. I call it a problem because it is. The physical health statistics, sociological data, and psychological evidence reached critical mass a long time ago about the dangers of that behavior choice. Note that I said behavior choice. If you can't control your urges, then you should seek help. It's called mature adulthood. If you think nothing is wrong with homosexual activity, that is your right. It's not your right to indoctrinate children, force an extreme social agenda on an unwilling country, or demand acceptance from people whose religions refer to that activity as sin and a crime against nature.)

CHICAGO PRIDE

  • DIERSEN HEADLINE: VERY SAD: Homosexual activity promoters crow over their success in promoting homosexual activity. All the religions of the world and the Republican Party platform discourage homosexual activity. The Democrat Party platform and the Libertarian Party platform promote homosexual activity. To what extent does your Republican Precinct Committeeman, the officers of your Republican township/ward party, the officers of your Republican county party, your Illinois Republican Party (IRP) State Central Committee member, Demetra DeMonte, Rich Williamson, and Pat Brady demonstrate opposition to homosexual activity? Since at least 1976, the more that you discourage homosexual activity, the harder that the IRP works against you. Beyond outrageously, by their words and/or by their actions, many IRP candidates, elected officials, and party leaders make it very clear that they reject all the religions of the world, that they reject the Republican Party platform, that they despise conservatives, and that they promote homosexual activity. Of course, that discourages religious people, conservatives, and Republicans from a) giving money to the IRP, b) otherwise helping elect Republicans, and c) voting for Republicans. http://chicago.gopride.com/news/article.cfm/articleid/12963744
(THE ARTICLE: Marriage equality makes gains with conservatives, GOP - Kevin Wayne Washington, D.C. - As a prominent number of high-profile Republicans speak out in favor of same-sex marriage - and some even come out, there appears to be a growing shift among younger conservatives to be more libertarian toward social issues, including gay-rights. A Washington Post poll from February shows six in 10 adults younger than 30 support legalizing same-sex marriage, which is a break from religious conservatives. Political analysts say this shift in the GOP is partly because of the "tea party" movement, which is considerably softer on social issues, such as gay rights, and more focused on economics. Gay Republicans also say the shift is to expand the party's appeal. "Our nation is at a crossroads, and conservatives are trying to rally together to turn back the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda," Chris Barron, chairman of GOProud, a gay Republican group, told the Washington Post. "That's why we've seen people like Glenn Beck saying, 'Look, same-sex marriage isn't hurting anybody.' Because he sees a need to create a broad-based conservative movement." Beck, a recent Mormon convert, told Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly on his Aug. 11 broadcast that gay marriage is not a threat to America. "Honestly, I think we have bigger fish to fry," said Beck. Joining Beck in support of marriage equality are conservative pundits Ann Coulter and Elisabeth Hasselbeck from ABC's The View. "I am not ultra-ultra-conservative on every issue; I actually support gay marriage," Hasselbeck said in a recent interview. "I think the gay marriage thing would definitely surprise people." There has also been a shift in support of same-sex marriage among prominent Republicans including former first lady Laura Bush, former vice president Dick Cheney, Megan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain and Cindy McCain, the Senator's wife. Former George W. Bush solicitor general Ted Olson, a Republican, was instrumental in the successful challenge to California's Proposition 8. And this week, former Bush campaign manager and Republican National Committee chairman Ken Mehlman came out gay. Mehlman not only supports marriage equality, but he continues to raise money for the fight. "Many conservatives are able to take the leap from wanting the government to stay out of their economic lives to wanting the government out of their personal lives," Mark Whittington wrote in a recent column on AssociatedContent.com. "Telling gays that they cannot marry one another seems to many young righties to be an intrusion into private life." Religious conservatives, including Illinois hate group Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), continue to push back against the increasing support for same-sex marriage in the GOP. The Republican party is not alone in its struggle with marriage equality. President Obama favors civil unions over the right of gay and lesbian couples to marry. Currently gay and lesbian couples can legally marry in New Hampshire, Massachusetts,Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont. New York, California, Rhode Island, New Mexico and Washington, DC recognize marriages by same-sex couples legally performed elsewhere.)

Active Christian Media Interviews Cliff Kincaid about AFTAH’s Truth Academy

8/19/10 - ACTIVE CHRISTIAN MEDIA BROADCAST:
Today my guest was Cliff Kincaid from USA Survival and Accuracy in Media. I invited Cliff on to discuss his recent talk at the Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, Truth Academy.
During that 3 day seminar, Cliff was told by Marxist leader of the Gay Liberation Front, Bob Swartz, that he suggested Cliff get hit by a car!  Nice huh!
Click here to watch the video and hear for yourself these rude remarks.
Cliff shares about the Marxist roots of Obama, as well as the Marxist roots of the Sodomite Agenda.  Including, the recent push for homosexuals to donate blood.

Diersen’s News Clips and Upcoming Events; August 27, 2010

GOPUSA ILLINOIS August 27, 2010 Fellow Republicans: News clips and upcoming event information:

GOPUSA ILLINOIS

-- Scott Brown speaks at an outstanding fundraiser for Mark Kirk organized by Lisa Wagner Thursday evening, August 26, at the Lisle/Naperville Hilton; 275 attendees include Arndt, Bellock, Birkett, Boltz, Claar, Connelly, Cronin, Dillard, Ferguson, Fortner, Healy, Hinds, Hughes, Hultgren, Kachiroubas, King, Krajewski, Loftus, Martinez, Murphy, Oberweis, Ossyra, Prueter, Rebolletti, Ruscitti, Spitzzeri, Straub, Veenstra, Yurgaitis, and Zediker. Many thanks to Roger Claar for letting me use one of his six tickets so that I could attend the event which was "closed to the news media." - Dave Diersen http://www.gopillinois.com

GOPUSA ILLINOIS

-- Why would Illinois Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, event organizers, etc. NOT want GOPUSA ILLINOIS to report on their events? - Dave Diersen http://www.gopillinois.com GOPUSA and its Illinois Editor and TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois and its Chairman exist to help elect Republicans who can and will defend and advance the Republican Party platform. The Democrat reporters almost always refuse to report on Republican events unless they can spin their report to harm Republicans. When GOPUSA ILLINOIS reports on a Republican event, it a) describes the event as being "outstanding," b) reports the date, time, and location of the event, c) reports who organized the event, d) reports who spoke at the event, e) reports what the event organizer said the approximate number of attendees were, and f) lists Republican candidates, elected officials, and party leaders who attended the event. While your GOPUSA Illinois Editor is willing to spend approximately 10 hours every day of what is left of his life, 70 hours every week, 300 hours every month, 3,650 hours every year, and 36,500 hours every decade to help elect Republicans who can and will defend and advance the Republican Party platform; while I am willing to spend thousands of dollars of my own money each year putting out GOPUSA ILLINOIS daily emails; while I give away GOPUSA ILLINOIS subscriptions free of charge even though they are worth at least $500 a year; while virtually every Republican candidate, elected official, party leader, major donor, event organizer, etc. in Illinois either reads the emails or has people monitor them; while RINOs continue to refuse to include me in their press advisory and press release lists; and while many continue to blame me for all problems that they and all others have had, are having, and will have, I am not willing to have to pay to attend Republican events as a reporter. Democrat reporters disapprove of me and argue that if a Republican event is closed to them, the event should be closed to me. Democrat reporters argue that one cannot be both a Republican and a reporter. I invite my critics to put their complains about me into a written "bill of particulars," put their name to it, and give me an opportunity to respond. Why would Illinois Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, event organizers, etc. NOT want GOPUSA ILLINOIS to report on their events? -- They reject some, most, or all of the Republican Party platform and therefore, they disapprove of GOPUSA and disapprove of its Illinois Editor -- They are afraid of Democrat reporters and others who disapprove of GOPUSA and its Illinois Editor

CHICAGO TRIBUNE

(FROM THE ARTICLE: When the college announced its appointment of Ryken in February, wildly varied opinions from evangelical Christians erupted onto blogs and message boards. Within hours of Christianity Today magazine's posting of the announcement, dozens of comments were posted to its Web site. In some, the college was heaped with high praise for its choice of Ryken while others were less supportive. One even said his appointment was a "real tragedy," and that the college "lazily chose a safe, easy, extremely conservative, white, male candidate. . .after having been pleaded with by so many students, alumni and faculty to seriously consider a. . .progressive choice.")

(DIERSEN: Political parties exist to defend and advance their platform. The "spit" is between Republicans who want to defend and advance the party's platform and RINOs who reject the party's platform. The "split" is between those who respect America's borders and citizenship requirements and those who do not. The "split" is between those who put America first and those who do not.)

DAILY HERALD

From the article: Zoning board member Mike Loftus, who led the hearing, called the accusations "inflammatory" and asked that those statements be stricken from the record. "If anyone thinks this board is anti-Islamic, we do not do that," he said. "I'm not going to sit here and let you tell us this is singling out a specific religion."
(DIERSEN: I adopted the Prairie Path Park in my precinct and I urge other Republican Precinct Committeemen to adopt the parks in their precincts.)
(THE ARTICLE: The Naperville Park District's commissioners intend to resurrect a previous tradition of hosting an annual state of the park district meeting. Commissioners agreed Thursday evening to invite key city officials and lead off the February board meeting with the annual address. "We just want to share with the community the good things that have happened and the things we'll be working on," President Mike Reilly said. "We've looked to put this together in the last quarter of the year so we can present it very early in the year to let people know where their money's going, how it's being spent and what's on the horizon.")

(DIERSEN: Soon, a) Whites will be a minority in America and b) Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, and others will govern America. How will they treat Whites? For many decades, Democrats and RINOs have a) demonized and denigrated Whites and b) blamed Whites, especially old White male Republicans, for all the problems that Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, and others have.)
